Comment:
Modular, OCZ items which I haven't had anything bad happen for any o f my OCZ merchandise. 700W The cables in general are ridiculously short. Compared to my Corsair 750w that I am coming from, the difference is night and day. Cable management for my antec 902 is pretty muffed up now due to the fact of the 8 pin connected being midget length and the sata power cables were JUST lengthy enough. Luckily, I don't show off my case so 100% management isn't required, but 80% is close enough Wish OCZ created the cables longer, specially 8 pin. I assume energy supplies in common should make the 8 pin connector a superior five-6 inches longer.

Cons:Weak in SLI.

Pros:Silent, modular, easy to install.
Comment:
It's a need to have a modular PSU today, this one is a great value but the power output is a bit too weak for the big config in SLI or Crossfire. But for 40$ it's a great choice.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 140MM Fan 80PLUS Power Supply
Cons:Doesn't last long.

Pros:Great deal when it was on sale. Come with many cables in a mesh bag = handy = love it.
Comment:
Bought it for $40 when it was on sale. $40 = 700W + SLI ready = can't resist. Finally found out that it doesn't last over 3 years which is the time the warranty ends according to most of the users' reviews. Guess this is why it was selling that cheap. And it's not truly 700W. $40 for 3 years, still good enough for me.I was a fan of OCZ rams several years ago. But its SSD doesn't last and now its power supplies also don't last. Time to say bye bye to this brand.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 140MM Fan 80PLUS Power Supply
Cons:- The cord is rather short

Pros:- Works great- Quiet fan
Comment:
A 700 watt power supply and works great. Haven't encountered any performance problems yet. The only real complaint I would have with most of OCZ's power supply is that their cords tend to be rather short. Asides from that, the pricing is a good value for what it give.

Way superior than my last laptop or computer's. There's adequate plugs and cords for every little thing I require and I nonetheless have slots open for future use :P The item itself is good and I thought it was a steal with the "rebate"....even so (see thoughts) Brief cords, but not an matter with the set up I have When I did obtain my rebate it was an currently applied card. The date I received it, the card had been utilised wayyy prior to. I will not deal with this organization anymore if it's not settled. I see there are a couple of other folks that had the very same difficulty when they received their rebates. Never had an problem with this organization until this. Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are sorry for the rebate concern. Please email rebates@ocztechnology.com and include your full name, address, item and place and date of purchase. We will straighten this out for you. Thank you

Picked this up on-sale for $40 after rebate -- I see that it's now $30 after rebate, even better!Plenty of power for even higher-end builds with SLI. At this price, I haven't seen anything that beats this. Although, you do have to deal with the MIR.

Cons:No issues with the hardware

Pros:Been working well since I purchased in Apr/11. Quite and cool so long as the fan is clear of dust.
Comment:
Purchased this as part of a new system just over a year ago. The Hard drive runs my 4 WD 2 TB HD's, Graphics Card, 1 DVD, 1 BR, and OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX 20/24PIN SLI very good. I have one complaint and it is when I purchased this item it had a rebate attached and got burned by never receiving the rebate. The power supply is great but if you can get this item for $70 or less without having to go through a rebate process, go for it.

Comment:
Modular power adapters, trustworthy, been working excellent for 1.5 years. Very stable, quiet, massive fan. Overall a great PSU. SLI support is one more story... Beware of using this for SLI setups. 1) Only 2 PCI-e connectors - a lot of new cards call for two PCI-e per card two) the 2x 12v rails are inadequate because 1 rail powers mobo/cpu and the other rail powers ALL the internal connectors. (Check specs page on OCZ internet site, click Mechanical Drawing pdf -- 12v2 powers all PCI-e and molex). I got 2x GTX 460's and hooked it up and had some artifacting and flashing. Every 460 reqs 13.3A max and you are stuck putting them on 1 rail so that's 26.6A on a rail rated at 25A, not to mention all your other internal devices that want juice. I was extremely pleased with this PSU till I decided to try SLI. If you're not hoping to do any type of semi-contemporary SLI setup, it's fantastic, otherwise appear for a PSU with preferably a single rail with lots of amps. (It seriously shouldn't be this complicated to get a PSU for your video card. Manufacturers are performing a TERRIBLE job producing this stuff accessible for the common public. SLI certification indicates absolutely nothing.) Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are sorry that you have had difficulties. When upgrading a system with newer components, we advise checking the power specifications of those components, and comparing that to the specs of your PSU. Newer video cards have higher power needs, and we advocate permitting some extra head area by deciding upon a somewhat bigger PSU than would the advised minimal. Thank you

Cons:Short cables, not enough pci power cables.

Pros:Lots of power for a great price.
Comment:
I should have read the reviews more closely, because they all point out how short the cables are. I wasn't able to get the 8 pin power connector routed nicely behind the motherboard, and could barely squeeze it over the board to reach the connector. Using this PS with an X58A-UD3R MB in a Corsair 400r. It's a nice, quiet supply, though.

Just completed 2nd construct. This is my 3rd OCZ psu. I had a dilemma with my really very first psu a couple of years back, and OCZ's support was wonderful. So I'm back. No problems with installation and the fan is really quiet. I'm not knocking off any eggs but psu isn't totally modular. The 20 pin and 8 pin and 4 pin power connectors aren't modular. One other minor nickpick, you have one 6ư pin and 1 6 pin pci-e connectors. One greater finish video card will take both pci-e connectors creating feeding two cards in SLi or Crossfire a little additional challenging. Cable length wasn't a issue for me.

Quiet, Modular, Looks durable. CPU Power cable is brief. Works for mid-towers but NOT for full towers. Also, if you're preparing to SLI 2 video cards that require 2 PCI-E power connectors every single, maintain in thoughts that this power provide only has two PCI-E power connectors. And though you can use two of the other 2X6 modules, that would only leave you with four usable cords. Good Power Supply. This is my second OCZ. I upgraded from a 500W to the 700W due to the fact of the Nvidia 460. Overall, a Great card for individuals with mid-tower situations not seeking to SLI two power-hungry video cards.

Cons:Not super quietFan bearing died after 6 monthsNo response from rebate team

Pros:Works wellGood priceOCZ name
Comment:
Works great but the bearing died. Not under heavy use. Now I have to buy a new fan to replace it. Also, makes an annoying buzzing noise (noticed it after a few weeks of owenership), but not really enough to bother me. Rather dissapointing though for an overall quality product.Had a problem with rebate registration online and the OCZ rebate team did not contact me. Nothing against OCZ on that one - I've already decided not to buy any MIR products after not recieving even ONE rebate cheque after making an $800 order. Dissapointing but still a decent price!

Just installed this psu in my new build and i couldnt be any happier. It came with all the cables i needed to install my parts. Also since its modular you don't have to install cables that you don't use so it clears some space from your case. At 40$ with the mail-in rebate its a real steal its a deal i recommend to everyone.

Cons:12V rail has lower Wattage than expected, only two PCIe connectors

Pros:Solid performance, good selection of cables overall
Comment:
Great power supply overall. Voltages are stable and accurate. 12V rail should be larger and this PSU wouldn't be good in large cases because the cables are short. I used in a mATX build and cables were a great length. PSU is SLI certified but only has two PCIe connections, most modern SLI cable cards will require two each. Mail in Rebate arrives quickly too.
