OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 140MM Fan 80PLUS Power Supply
Cons:Very short cables, the reviews about OCZ not honoring there rebate system is true

Pros:its been working for 2-3 weeks
Comment:
there are plently of reviews about ocz never honoring there rebates this is another one. I sent in my filled form with the upc and the invoice and 2 weeks later i get a email stating that my rebate has been rejected because it's missing an invoice. Did they throw it out on purpose???this was a expensive EXTREMELY short cabled PSU that i am totally unsatified with , i paid the full price i would have gone with another brand/company that cares about there customers and honor and stand behind there policies.

Comment:
Nice and quite, its modular, and came with a great mesh bag for the additional cables you dont want. its not entirely modular since the primary mobo power is hardwired, but then once more why wouldnt you want that to start with.

Cons:- Cables Were Very Short

Pros:- Cheap Power Supply
Comment:
I got this PSU in my budget build, little did I know the power supply cables were very short. I than had to return it, because the cables would simply not work in my case.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 140MM Fan 80PLUS Power Supply
Cons:Cheaper materials (At this price you can't expect premium build quality)

Pros:Lots of power for its price, quiet
Comment:
This power supply is great for someone who just wants a power supply to meet their video card requirements without breaking the bank. In all honesty, a power supply's outer case doesn't need to be built really well. It holds up, and hums along quietly.

Comment:
Excellent, stable energy (so far). Awesome modular style that really makes it possible for you to connect only the devices you will need to hook up. I'm a minimalist-device fanatic, and this was one particular of the factors I took a really serious look at this PSU - the only tricky-wired connections are the 20Ʋ-pin, the 8-pin, and a random 4-pin PCI-E. Oh, and it didn't hurt that the value was wallet friendly at the time of purchase. CAUTION: the wires are Short. I'm currently using a CM 912 mid-tower, and the 8-pin was NOT long enough to route behind the motherboard tray. Fortunately, I was cleverly able to sandwich the wire in between my motherboard and a gap close to the rear of my video card, and it's proficiently hidden. The other wires are short as well, and it requires some really serious bending and twisting to be in a position to plug in to devices. I doubt this PSU will be able to hide itself in a total-tower.Other smaller con: only includes 2 6-pin PCI-E connections for video cards. I won't be able to xFire/SLI without having purchasing an adapter. I've read other reviews warning against the brief wires, but I didn't know specifically how brief they were till I tried to hide cables in my 912. They're Brief. I knew of the lack of extra PCI-E connections going in, so I can't take an egg off for that.

Cons:None really

Pros:Good cable management, Very easy instillation
Comment:
I bought this product when my older power supply fried. I figured I'd spoil myself and get a PSU that would last me awhile without need for upgrades. The PSU seems very sturdy and built well. Instillation was a breeze, and so far, it's pumping out juice easy. Very glad I bought it.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 140MM Fan 80PLUS Power Supply
Cons:allegedly unstable voltage according to reviews and reputation

Pros:high efficiency, good power for the money, good looking labelling on either side depending on whether you mount below/above mainboard
Comment:
This PSU is better suited for smaller full-ATX cases to not run into modular cable length issues. They are sleeved well so not too much ventilation interference. It is very quiet even at over 55% load, and it has maintained reliable operation running at that level 24/7, despite sharing a wall outlet with a power hungry air conditioner. For me, I was quite happy this purchase that I got another one.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 140MM Fan 80PLUS Power Supply
Cons:- Cables are rather shorter than my liking.

Pros:- Reliable brand.- 700W.- A lot of saving, almost 50% off.- Sturdy, fit right into my Antec 302 case.
Comment:
-It didn't take long to install the piece in and connect all the cables. As mentioned, cables are quite short to route around the case, and almost not possible to connect to the highest header on my MOBO.-My friend recommends the brand. I say it's good but less than perfect.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 140MM Fan 80PLUS Power Supply
Cons:-not enough sata power connections-motherboard leads are not modular, and very short

Pros:-(mostly) modular-price
Comment:
As a fan of the old ModStream 450W psu's, I decided to try this 700W model for my new gaming pc. While I haven't had any major problems with it, I'm not sure if I would buy it again tbh. The reason is, I'm now using all but 1 of the connections on the powersupply - but I'm sure most people would not be. FYI I am running this with a i5 3570k (a4.1ghz), gigabyte z77x-ud5h, gtx 670 2gb, 5 case fans, 1 ssd, 4 hdd, and 1 optical drive. Thing is, my motherboard doesn't need the 6pin cable, so thats already one cable sitting in my small case I dont need, and there are 'only' 6 sata power connections (with another 6 4pin molex cables), so to plug in my optical drive I had to use a molex->sata adapter. BUT the system has been totally stable, so I can't complain too much. Overall, a good product for the price, but do your math before getting excited on the space saving of going modular!

I bought this PSU to power my GTX 560. I do recommend attaching and modular cables to the PSU before you install if you have a tight case like I do. Its so tight I had to disconnect the power and SATA cables from my dvd drive to get the PSU in. Other than that amazing power supply.

I am nonetheless impressed every time I begin or restart my computer at the speed of these solid states. I have not had a single challenge with this unit and I installed Vista in below 10 minutes. Gorgeous. Its so modest in terms of space... when I am thinking about installing some thing, its not like possessing a terabyte C Drive, I have to denominate what desires the speed of the Solid State and what can be place on a separate drive.. if your a gamer this drive can be a blessing and a curse... its Genuinely rapidly... but you will run out of space so speedily you won't know what to do with all your programs.. feel about how significantly space your OS and your programs take when you believe about purchasing this. If I had a purpose for it... I would obtain this numerous times more than.

Cons:cables

Pros:750w 80 plus cheap!

u will prolly need all the cables attached to the psu anyway so i don't really find it being partly modular any advantageous. 8 pin power connector is ridiculously short and had to spend another 10 bucks on that too.

700watt, Quiet, Rebate came in, modular saves so significantly space, more stable vcore for overclocking!!!!When i read the critiques right after getting i was kind of scared but this PSU is a good item i have overclocked on it pretty heavy and not even a glitch. Do oneself a favor and acquire this as lengthy as you do the rebate properly they will send you your cash. But might take a little while. None so far.

Comment:
This is a wonderful PSU for it's price tag point, 700w for ๛ (When I purchased it it was on sale) is wonderful. Quite quiet, like advertised. All the cables I required, and most of the cables are sleeved in an extra protective sheath of some sort. Not seriously a con but, the fan grill sticks out a quite modest amount which was catching on the pieces of metal that assist hold my PSU up (Top-mounted) so I had to bend them down a bit or else the pieces of metal would have been inside of the grate. The 20Ʋ pin connector is a Pain to bend about and move exactly where you want it to go, not enough of a con to knock off an egg even though. When installing this prime mounted be cautious it doesn't get caught on something. This PSU has a nice hefty weight to it, a little additional than I was expecting though.

I bought this item bc of a sell shocker particular w/ dd3 ram & 2x ษ mail in rebates which seemed like a wonderful value Took practically three months for me to get my rebates & what's worse is that 1 of the cards only had a balance of 44 cents & the other 1 was empty!! Will never obtain an OCZ item once again! Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are really sorry that your rebate cards are incorrect. Please email rebates@ocztechnology.com and include your full name, address, item and location and date of obtain. We will take care of this problem for you, and will see that they are replaced speedily. Thank you

OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 140MM Fan 80PLUS Power Supply
Cons:- PCI-E connections are lacking. Only 1x6pin and 1x6+2pin connectors so you can only run 2 low/mid-end cards or one high end card... you will probably never need the 700w capacity.- 4pin and 8ipn motherboard connections are very short. (My motherboard only uses ONE of these connections, so the other is laying in my case unused since these are not modular)- Taiwanese capacitors? Not Japanese? (I'm not sure...)

Pros:- Best price/performance- Semi-modular (less cable clutter)- 700w, good performance.
Comment:
This semi-modular PSU is really cheap ($45 after MIR) which makes it an amazing value. However, I dislike the some of the cable connections that they've decided to go with.. maybe it was just an older design. Also, I've read that the build quality is not the best for a PSU, but for now, it's solid.Anyway, $45... can't really complain since my fully loaded PC is running smoothly (AMD Phenom II X4 955 w 4.0Ghz OC, 9800GT SLI, etc.)
