modular style. quiet fan. Motherboard power cable could be longer. I have mine installed in a HAF 912 situation and was barely able to connect the cable utilizing the cable management behind motherboard. One particular a lot more inch would have been good. If you are using a taller case I don't see how you could get the cable connected routing it behind the board, out of the airflow. -1 egg for short cable.

It operates. It's not a excellent value for the price. There's superior that are less costly. The factor has switched off a couple of random times with no explanation. I don't like "mysteries" with my power flow. So far, I have tried a number of goods from OCZ memory, power supply, and so on. Deviating from Crucial/Corsair, Seasonic/PCPower, etc and been burned. It appears their QA is not on the ball across all lines so I would assume that this is their QA control policy in their corporation. Manufacturer Response:Hello, a system can shut down for certain reasons other than a power supply fault. If your power provide does have an concern we aplogize for that, and we will be glad to supply you an RMA. I got this psu at a excellent cost. All the cables had been extended sufficient for me. The psu kept cool, was quiet, and was every thing I could have hoped for. Cables had been a tiny stiff. My key concern with psu was that it died one day when I went to turn on my Pc. The psu made a loud pop sound then the smell of burnt electronics and smell came. I just hope it didn't mess up any other components on my Pc. Just so purchasers are conscious, I am not the only on in the reviews of this psu dying, then possessing to wait for a replacement psu. If you want to preserve your computer up and operating, and not have your computer broken down or take the opportunity of ruining other elements of your computer, I would in all probability advise you go with a different brand of psu. Just take that into consideration. Other than that, the psu worked wonderful though it worked.

its quiet and modular the cpu power cables are short in my mid tower. The psu is mounted on the bottom and the cables are tight when they need to go about video cards and reach the far side of the mb. This PSU is one particular of the items that I have had no issues with in my most resent develop. But I am also still waiting for the rebate.

Prett good pwoer sypply. Lot of cable that will fit pretty much any config. There is even a samll bag to put the other you don't need. Only con is the cable length. If you have a case with hole to hide cable, you need to carefully choose the way the cable will go.Use it with a Nzxt Phantom and a Corsair 600-tm and found a way to connect everything.

From what I've read, this power supply doesn't use it's full power. However, for its price, it's definitely a wise move to get it and if it dies out, shouldn't cost much to replace it.

Cons:-short 4/6pin motherboard power cable-short PCI-E 6pin, and 6+2pin cables-not fully modular

Pros:-fairly cheap for the amount of power it gives-80 Plus certified-sli ready-silent, I cannot tell if the fans are even spinning
Comment:
This PSU is great for a $43 price tag (after rebate)As mentioned previously, the cables are fairly short and not fully modular, there are some unused cables that I have had to hide at the bottom of my case.If you would use this as a bottom mounted power supply, and wish to tuck the cables into the back you might consider another power supply.I could not tuck away the PCI-E 6pins behind the motherboard, and looks fairly ugly to my taste. If I knew what I know now when I first purchased this PSU, I would probably have invested more and bought a fully modular power supply with longer cables.

Modular cables makes the case much less cluttered, Stable voltage at any loading. Negative connection in ATX connector. Causes specifically what other folks say... mobo lights, fans, but no POST. I'm glad I inadvertantly nudged the connector even though troubleshooting. A zip tie seems to be holding items together properly enough to function. I dug and found a prominent reviewer who had the precise identical issue with an OCZ ATX conn. He applied a zip tie, too. That OCZ would send a sample to a reviewer that had a bad connector pretty properly confirms other reviewers assertion that their QC is non-existent.If OCZ warranty is like their rebates, I'm outta luck and outta bucks. They utilized to be awesome. Manufacturer Response:Hello, we test every single power provide immediately after it is assembled, and the connector have to function properly to start testing. On occasion a specific motherboard connector could have get in touch with difficulties with a specific energy supply. We aplogize for the challenge and will be content to replace your PSU if you find the want. Thank youExternal Link(s): OCZ Support Page|

Excellent energy provide, quiet and the sale value (with a mail in rebate to boot) was a can't-resist. Cable management was a breeze with the modular cable sets. None to date. This is substantially more energy supply than I would commonly acquire, but the sale price could not be denied. Thanks New Egg!

I've been purchasing OCZ Modular power supplies from newegg now for a couple of years. Yes they are additional high-priced than generic energy supplies but of the ten-15 of them that I have purchased I have never ever had a issue. I love the modular connectors and the strong overall performance. It generally tends to make the inside of the case look nice and organized not to mention the elevated air flow. Rebate cards rather than checks tends to make it hard to use the rebate income. OCZ honers there rebates unlike any other organization that I have ever noticed, it does bother me that they do the rebate card rather than a check but dollars back is income back.

Compatible with i7 and GeForce 460 GTX. Haven't had any difficulties with it. Not sure why people are complaining about the wires mainly because I located them to be the ideal length. Depends on your setup I guess. It came with a bunch of spare cables also and added connectors, etc. Super quiet. I'm extremely pleased with it so far. A bit bulky and pricey for the wattage but worth it for the high quality imo. Ideal i7 spending budget power supply.

Pros:great price, decent quality, semi modular
Comment:
unit is good, has enough power for what i need, the price was right, and at its rating, when the computer is on full load, the psu is only going at about 50%-60% capacity, where its efficiency is pretty high (80-82%). big problem i had with this was the cpu power cable was 1 inch too short, messed up the cable management only a little.

Cons:Might need more power in the near future, so I'll probably have to upgrade. But nothing wrong with this unit that I have experienced.

Pros:Lots of cables, length was good for my mid, and company offers 3 year warranty. Also, contrary to others, I've had a good experience (so far) with MIR.
Comment:
Cables come wrapped for a clean pc interior and with plenty of cables. Unit was inexpensive compared to other brands and offers a 3 year warranty. Contrary to some, I haven't had an issue with the length of the cables. Although, be careful with the prongs on some of the power cables- if they're not lined up properly then they can be pushed in a bit- one of mine did this, but I just set it back into place and all was good. Good price, good unit.

Quiet, cables didn't seem brief like quite a few other negative evaluations claimed employed in a complete ATX case The PSU I received has issues powering a GTX 460. At initially I believed it was the video card itself that was faulty, but when I tried a new 1 the dilemma persisted. Swapping the video cards with a 260 and operating the 460 in a pc with a various power provide removed the concern. I don't know if it's because the PSU is faulty or defective in some way, but this wasn't truly what I figured was coming for a PSU with greater wattage than the a single I usually acquire. Kind of wish this factor didn't have strange matters with this card, offered that the other parts are identical to my existing setup and there's no reason it shouldn't be able to power it given that my current setup runs on a lower end PSU. Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are sorry that you are getting difficulties. This PSU will very easily power a GTX 460 in a typically configured method. Please pay a visit to our assistance forums at the link below and post in the Power Provide section. We will be content to examine your method configuration and figure out if your PSU may well need to be replaced. Thank youExternal Link(s): OCZ Support Forums|

Bought this for a midrange build for my brother. Got it for a good price with MIR, and it's done the job nicely. Probably not as robust as a corsair, but overall a very good buy for the price, and it's hard to find a comparable modular psu this cheap.
