Solid Powersupply. No massive complications. The cables are a bit on the short side. Whilst all the power outputs (sata and molex) listed are available, you have to make the choice on what you use. You can configure it to have 6 X Sata or 3 X Sata + 2 molex, or 4 x molex. In my specific construct this brought on issues due to the fact i had all sata devices but necessary a molex connector for a fan controller. Not the biggest challenge but would have been good if it was created much more clear upfront.

It's modular and quiet. Some of the main wires I didn't need to have were unfortunately not modular, but other than that this is a wonderful product.

-฾ soon after rebate-OCZ constantly has superior costs on their PSUs soon after rebates-A lot of energy connectors-Comes with cable pouch for storage-Modular design helps preserve things clean-Tier two PSU according to eggxpert.com, so you know it's reliable-Can power a x2 5850 setup -Fan is horribly noisy when positioned horizontally. I've had to unscrew it and turn it vertically in the case to fix the noise.-Still have but to see my rebate immediately after 4 months.-CPU connector could barely reach from a bottom mounted case. I'll ultimately RMA it for a new unit to fix the noise problem permanently.Came with a 4GB flash drive for me.Other, less expensive alternatives ultimately came on sale. I would of bought those rather. Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are sorry for the fan noise concern. Please check out the link below and develop a support ticket to start the RMA procedure at your convenience. Rebates can take about 120 days, so if you have not received your soon, please e-mail rebates@ocztechnology.com and incorporate your full name, address, product, and date and place of buy. We will be happy to present you with status. Thank youExternal Link(s): OCZ Support Page|

None Arrived dead. Tech support only stated to go to web and commence the RMA process. Piece of junk. Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are quite sorry for the issue. The biggest cause of DOA power supplies is rough handling throughout shipping. The bigger internal components can be stressed and electrical shorts can be the result. An RMA by means of Newegg will be the fastest way to get a replacement, and you really should be up and running fine.Thank you

Love it except my 4 pin mobo connector had to be run awkwardly under the gpus and against the motherboard. Best as a top mounted PSU not a bottom.

Cons:- Cable not long enough if you have a bottom mounted psu

Pros:- Powerful- Modular- SLI/crossfire support
Comment:
Bought this for friend's build for 49.99 on sale with MIR.Only problem we had was how tight it was to connect the PSU to the motherboard, was a very tight fit and the thing looks like a tight rope inside the case!

Really quite. Has fantastic power for what I am doing. The greatest con is the length of the 4 and 8 pin ATX power cables. They won't reach if you have to cross the mother board to get to the connection. I have a Silverstone LC13-E case. The power supply sits at the opposite end of the case from the 8 pin connection on my ASUS mobo. The cable was short by a excellent three inches. I had to run to the nearby Sonic C to get a cable. The cable price ฝ removing any benefit from the Rebate.A mini-con is that the 4 and 8 Pin ATX Power Cable are not modular. 4 pin sits in the case unused. Applying for the Rebate is awkward. It is the worst of both the paper and paperless world. 1st you download the rebate form from newe, then you register on the web. Then you get the paperwork. Then you put it together and mail it. And Oh, for ū you can speed up the return of your rebate by about five weeks. They could make the rebate method so simple but then men and women would actually collect on them.I5-760EVGA GeForce GTX 460 SE 1GB ASUS P7P55D-E Pro LGA Kingston HyperX 8GB (DDR3 1600 COOLER MASTER GeminII S RR 120mm CPU CoolerOCZ Modular 700W Power SupplySilverstone LC13-E Case2 - Seagate 1.5TB 7200 RPMLG Blu-ray Burner and ASUS DVD Burner

I have been using this powersupply for almost two years now, and have no complaints other than the short cables. I had to buy an extension for the 8pin cpu power cable, but I do have a bottom mount case. an awesome buy at the current sale price of 40.00 after rebates.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 140MM Fan 80PLUS Power Supply
Cons:Designed for top mounting only

Pros:Small, cool and quiet.. so far
Comment:
It's not a bad PS, although I would say that they should have said it was a top mount only. I SAY it's a top mount only for the following reasons. First, the power cables are short, I managed to get it into my Corsair case (on the bottom) and the 8 pin ATX cable had to cross and is pressed up against the MB. ALL the cables need to be 6 or 8 inches longer. Also they're all upside down. All my SATA cables had to be twisted 180 degrees to plug into the drives (coming UP from the bottom). This would not have been a issue if the cables came from the top.So with those things in mind I say it's a top only PS. Which sucks for those of us who put it into bottom mount cases. In addition to the POS AZtech sound card it's the 2nd part of the system I just built that I'm unhappy with. But I'll keep it, it'll do the job.

This is a great power supply. It does its's job & I haven't had any issues with it. The mail in rebate is a bit of a pain but it's still a good price regardless. Recommended if you want a good power supply but don't want to spend over $100.

Pros:Cheap Power SupplyGood Quality PowerSemi-Modular Non-Modular Cables on the Right Side
Comment:
Do not recommend going SLI OR CROSSFIREX with this power supply. Although it is said to be SLI READY, this power supply's cable length is very, very short. I am running two XFX 5770's in CrossfireX Mode and I was BARELY able to connect the PIN to the top left corner of the motherboard. Perhaps if it were mounted near the top of the case, it may work well, but not recommended for bottom mounts.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 140MM Fan 80PLUS Power Supply
Cons:"Modular cables" a bit misleading (see below)

Pros:Works great
Comment:
"Modular cables" a bit misleading for this PSU in the way that it's set up. The wires are grouped together in a way that I need at least 1 from each group, so in effect I had to use every single cable anyway. Not a big deal to me, but thought some others should know.Got this to run 2x 460's in SLI, works fine while also powering my i7 860

Cons:weird high-frequency sound coming out from the PSUunreliableNever liked OCZ's rebate system, ended up not even applying for it...Sirtec OEMunknown capacitors

Pros:700Wits working, at least for now80 plus?semi Modularlooks prettysomewhat quiet
Comment:
Had this 1 year+.Its working, at least for now.Everything seems ok, the quality of DC made by this PSU isn't that great. This PSU isn't that reliable; but for this price, I cannot expect something like seasonic X760's great performance, or can I?There are reasons when its 700W 80 plus and its under $100...Sirtec OEM.Sirtec actually was around for several years and they did make some decent PSUs. Although they also made something really bad. After 2008~2009? they started to make some OK products, I guess they improved their quality, a little bit at least. I wouldn't recommend it to most people but I'm not going to say its a horrible product. Its OK.All I can say is that its a low profile OCZ product.I'm sure that would explain everything.Perhaps I would upgrade as soon as I upgrade my VGA.

Cons:Not really much

Pros:PriceCablesQuality
Comment:
The powersupply does it's job, there isn't ,much to say. Its quiet and outputs a whole lot of power for $55. A weakness is probably the length of the cables, if you have a really big case, get another PSU. I didn't put it in weaknesses becuase this may or may not be a problem. I was able to attach it in the end though.
