Functions wonderful to day, no issues. Only 2 PCIe power connectors, but can be used with pair of 4pin to PCIe adapters to energy 2 v-cards. (Running 2 5850 on x-fire) Make sure you label unused detachable cables with the model of the PSU. I have cables from other PSU (different manufacturer) they fit, but Computer does not pass POST - instant shutdown.

Dependable, No issues, second review on item after owning it for awhile. Modular aspect is good, even though I use nearly all the cables (running four difficult drives). no reliability isuses, quiet. Solid Energy-provide. Sell the 600W variation at my function location Cables are a bit brief for a bigger case, generating it hard to arrange the cables nicely. (I am utilizing an Antec 300 Case), wish they could be a bit longer. All in all poor PSU, had one poor 600w version come in at my work location, it burned via a motherboard. Constantly Volt-test new energy supplies to make sure they are functioning before plugging them into your precious hardware!

Got this on sale with MIR which made it great otherwise the price can be a problem when you make comparisons. As usual, there are some cables that almost come up short in length but on the plus side it's modular which allows you to save room on the wiring. The mounting on the bottom always doesn't seem to fit perfectly with all my OCZ PSUs, but I'm with ok with missing a screw or two so it's not too big of a problem on the mounting.

Worked when i initially got it, about 3 weeks began sizzling when i turned it on. type of scared some of my stuff is fried. wont be making use of this brand again. the smaller 8-pin mobo power cord was nearly unworkable (my psu is on the bottom of case) other than that, would definitely buy again. the modular cables are nice, everything comes in a nice cable case, very professional. would buy again in a heatbeat. runs WAY cooler than my old corsair tx850, that thing just burned

For the last two years this powered an overclocked L775 E8400 gaming rig with no a hiccup. After a total upgrade, this power supply was utilized again in a 1155 2500K gaming rig with 6870 video card. No issues.2 weeks in the new rig and operating strong. The box takes up space in my closet. I've built much more than a dozen gaming rigs and have utilized OCZ power supplies for at least 5 years and in no way had an problem with any of them, as a matter of truth, an old 520 Powerstream is still getting applied after about 7-8 years with out issue. I've also utilized Corsair in two builds and one in fact died soon after a week. It was replaced immediately after a few weeks and is operating fine. I learned from that and will trust OCZ some much more.

Adore the MODULAR concept! I only have one HDD and 1 DVD writer so I attached one SATA cable for those. And attached the PCI Express cable for my video card. Every little thing is clean and neat. The mesh encasing the cables is a great little luxury. I was in a position to get this PSU and a LiteOn DVD writter (retail) for 贅 which included a cost-free 4Gb OCZ USB Flash Drive...Can't beat that. This deal was virtually a year ago. The case is so neat and tidy. Only negative is that the EPS12V 8 Pin cable was not long enough to route behind my motherboard back plate. Yes I have this PSU mounted at the bottom of my case. Figured this could be a dilemma so I had ordered an EPS12V extension for Ŭ.99 from Newegg. It has been almost 10 years because my last "from scratch" develop, I forgot to press the power button on my motherboard to turn it on. This seems like an excellent PSU. I've already filled out my MIR and I'll be a very happy camper as long as that goes smoothly and the PSU don't die any time soon.It's been running smoothly for the past few hours and it runs really cool. Can't feel any heat from it.

Has enough power to offer a lot to my method. Works and no issues thus far. The modular power cables are either to a lot of ports, or not sufficient. 1 hard drive, but you have to deal with a slew of plugs just for one device. Only has enough video card power plugs for one video cardƖ & 8). Fortunately I had adapters. Operating properly on an i7 950, 1 hd, two gtx 280's, and two case fans. Has been stable, voltages are in the suitable range, and I've had no problems.

700W Power, Modular. Works fantastic Brief Energy Cable. I have a bottom mount case with the plug in on the mobo near the top, cables barley reached but the did so no knock on rating. Not a big fan of the rebate, you only have two weeks to send them in and then you shed your RMA to new egg because you have to cut up the box.

Sleek, modular, and quiet. OCZ's service was extremely kind enough to give me this PSU :> Last night I hit a blue screen of death. Upon booting the computer this morning, the computer restarted 3 times in a row. This PSU was my RMA replacement for the OCZ700SXS which was purchased on this internet site. I expected to get the OCZ700SXS2 when I turned in the RMA, but I was extremely excited and relieved when OCZ gave me a diverse line of PSU so I could keep away from the difficulties of the SXS line. Unfortunately, the cons hit.Regardless of the cons, I haven't given up hope on OCZ and I nonetheless program to acquire from them in the future.

have had it for awhile now and not a single difficulty, its quite quiet it has way more than adequate energy for my wants. men and women say the cables are not long adequate but for me they are a really great length, overall I'm quite happy with it. none at all lets hope it doesn't give out on me correct after i write this assessment!

I like the modular cables that come with this box. It allowed me to definitely do great cable management and no cost up space for airflow. With so quite a few comparable models and competition, you believe that this organization would do a much better job on the MIR. After reading reports of the difficulty of the Mail in Rebate process, I pretty much didn't acquire it. However, I just got denied the MIR mainly because all the documentation wasn't present. If I clicked on the link, it clearly shows each and every bit of documentation present. OCZ says I'm not eligible to re-aply. I consider this downright dishonest and unethical. Overall a very nice product. The only thing I have to say is that I had to pull the CPU plug as tight as I could to make it fit around my GPU all the way to the socket. Otherwise I've got nothing to say.
