Good quality, no problem with drive. No cable included with mine, other than that it's fine.

I bought this with a new system build. There was a sale price which is always nice and with a 24X write rate, that's always a nice bonus. I have so far only used this drive to install Windows 7, various drivers and software and it seems to work great. It's not as loud as I thought it would be which is also a good bonus. My only problem with this and many other DVD/CD Drives is that they should be painted black to accent the case and shorter, to accomidate for larger components (video cards). OK overall.

Worked, light weight(might be a con), no error burning sony dvd r. Owned a nec drive for almost 5 years and that thing will last forever. It is definitely heavier may because of the metal parts. Not sure about about this light weight drive will hold up.

Well...it's a dvd writer... so I expect it to be able to write dvds. And it does just that. nothing to complain about. great dvd writer, no problems so far.

Drive was malfunctioning, would only open halfway then close. Sometimes wouldn't open at all. We will see what the next drive is like after I receive my new one.

I could not set the booktype and burned with errors. Exchanged for Samsung Drive

Purchased this driver to burn DVD+R DLs, it does the job. Connected it and work right out of the box. But it said power unavailable or something like that while trying to burn in IMGburn, but I fixed that by disconnecting one of my other drivers : )

This literally came in a clear plastic package with nothing but itself...but that's fine! that's all you need, it really was just plug-n-play too

i tried using this LITEON DVD WRITER and it works well for me for a cheap price, i burned DVD's anc CD super fast , i love this product!

Not a bad drive, especially when it's on sale for $27. It's not the quietest one around but who cares, it's not like you have to constantly listen to it. Does what it does well.

No doesn't come with sata cable. Description clearly says OEM in big black letters.

Nice drive for the price but it's not as nice looking as other LG's I've bought and also feel a little bit less quality. But for this price I cannot complaint about it.

This was a great value, I've been burning quite a few DVD's since I got it (maybe 12 or so) and I haven't had any problems. It reads CD's and DVD's fine, it installed with no problems.

It's a good value product. It reads all CDs/DVDs without a problem and writes without errors. It could be a bit loud depending on your case.

This does what the description says it will do. Nothing fancy here. OEM drive comes with no cable, no software, and no manual. Mine does have different labeling on the tray that the pics on here also.

This is the way it should be: you buy it, you install it, you turn it on and it works. I bought this DVD-RW drive to replace an existing unit that was causing me problems. It works great and does what it should. The only thing to be aware of is that it comes without cables or connectors.

Unfortunately this product came in a clear plastic package with no sata cable to install. After finding one online for 10$ I find it works well.

i bought this buner to replace my lg 22x and this lite blows it out of the water . i couldn't ask for a better burner , and at 29.99 it's a bargain .

After my other DVD player went out, I was looking for something that would do the trick at a fair price. After receiving item noticed item didn't come with any cables or software. Product was totally plug and play with no issues. Player works fine and would purchase it again.
