What you expect, it works perfectly. One thing, buy a SATA cable, as this is OEM and comes with the drive and nothing else.

All I wanted was two writers and these do the trick... cheap. Easy install with sata interface. You'll need cables as I don't remember them coming with it.

I have the iHAS220 and it wasted a lot of my disc as it generated errors or stuck while finalizing. I RMA it and it came back with the same problems contacted support and was told to RMA it again I did at the cost of a second $12 and it came back a few days ago same problem. It is like they just send back your drive just as they got it until you stop sending it. Would not recommend products from this manufacturer

I got this with a barebones kit. It performs as expected. I don't know if it's any faster than my old ide dvd drive on my old computer, but I needed a new one with sata connectors anyway and this works well. I don't like dvd drives hard drives and disk drives in general because they spin, make noise, and are slower than solid state media, but eventually that will all be in the past. For now it's great and as long as you don't need a br drive, it should do everything you want it to do.

Had to upgrade my drive because it was too old and wouldn't read my Dragon Age Origins disc. VERY quiet, great speed, and an awesome value altogether. Could not be happier with this burner.

I can't say enough about this burner, as it is great for the money. I can't give 5 stars, as if I did the company would stop trying to improve, and there is always room for improvment.

Great DVD writer - easy install and works perfectly! HOWEVER, I clicked through a free shipping offer in an ad and was NOT given free shipping. No satisfaction from customer service. Guess the customer is NOT always right at this company!

Well, through nobodies fault, the first one was doa, made the most bone chilling noise that I have ever heard from a dvd drive, but 2nd drive is fantastic, blazing fast with burning and gaming, so for the price, great deal and would definitely buy again

Works Great, only down fall is it doesn't come with any software and it comes in a plastic case that require scissors to open. I knew it didn't come with software, I just thought it would be nice if they include it in the future.
