Inexpensive. SATA. Purchased three of these models on sale. Found that all 3 drives would not read one particular of my retailer bought music CDs. Possibly due to OEM specs.Purchased 1 model 30 days ago and can't send it back for refund or RMA due to OEM return policy. Have to feel about sending this a single back directly to Lite-On.Also, this model is not listed on the Lite-On web-site for download help. (Yet? OEM?) Had gotten two on sale and sent them each back and rather purchased 1 retail Lite-On model on sale with lightscribe. It reads anything and for a handful of dollars far more, it was worth it. My older retail Lite-On stills reads anything and I have burned/played hundreds of CDs/DVDs with it.

Bought two. One works fine (so far). Just an additional DVD burner and a inexpensive cost. Second of two drives is bad. Shows up in BIOS, but not in Windows (My Computer). It does show up as a device beneath Device Manager, but a single of these pesky small yellow exclamation marks is next to it and I can't figure out why. Certainly the second drive is defective. NewEgg rep was great in operating with me and has completely satisfied my concerns! This is why I have spent thousands of dollars more than Numerous years at the Egg and will continue to do so.

Not much to say about a DVD burner except that it performs as it should. It is priced great, I have had 0 burn fails (burnt close to 40 discs in the last couple days), and it does the job pretty quickly.If I had to say anything bad about it, the noise. When you start the PC, the drive makes a loud noise as if something is breaking. Small issue, and not enough to deter me from buying more in the future.Highly recommended

nothing at all The drive did not open when i pushed the button. I mentioned screw the warrenty, i opened it up and there was a superior sized plastic chunk wedged into the motor gear. believe twice about obtaining 1 of these.

Enjoy this dvd burner! Just hope that it don't go out as quickly as my IDE burner like this one did. I was upset that it wasn't in the dvd box and didn't have any cables but that's ok shipping was rapid came in like two enterprise days, I live in Chattanooga,Tennessee and was asking yourself why the dvd rom drive left Memphis which is at the bottom corner of tn to the best component of TN to Nashville then from Nashville to Chattanooga. But idc about that as long as i got it I'm pleased!! d:-P

I am extremely pleased with my obtain, It works perfectly, for my desires. This product can be quite loud. Though I was installing Visual Studio 2010, it became apparent. It was louder than all of my case fans, and even my stock CPU fan.But then I installed some computer software for my webcam and it was silent. Perhaps it has something to do with reading a dvd? I am not rather certain. I only utilised it to install software package.Did test music ripping or copying.

Extremely Rapid, Burns Rapidly, Really Quiet.This is a very good DVD Burner for its price. I bought this Drive for a budget construct i am doing for Gaming,a nd needless to say i am extremly satisfied with it. None Just keep in mind that this is an OEM Drive, which implies that there are no cables that come with it. Just the drive itself. If you are buying a MoBo they sometimes come with the appropriate Information cables with them, so it shouldn't be too significantly of a dilemma. But please be aware of this if you are just buying this by itself.

Well, its a great burner for a great price, not to mention NCIX will price match , so I saved an additional $5!!awsome job NCIX Ill be using this for the new burner-max firmware for all my new XBGD3 backups as its the only drive that supports it, thank god ncix has them!!! id give this burner a 10/10

Functions wonderful, burns rapidly, incredibly low cost. None. Don't go with no a CD/DVD burner. Even if you only use it hardly ever, it can save you a lot of hassle. It's effectively worth the expense.

Works fantastically, low noise. Does just what you anticipate it to. Bulk packaging was small far more than bubble wrap, but did the job.

this is a great dvd burner for the price. apparently you can flash it for some reason involving xbox's. i havent flashed mine but maybe one day i may consider it. a grat buy for a great price.
