as was said thought it came with cables,software,etc. face looked kind of faded so didn't match other drive colors (black)would of sent it back but didn't want to pay for shipping performs great fast on burning mind you they only make 16x media so you'll only get 16x max burning but it does peak to high speeds quiker than my old 16x burner plus its lite-on they last the longest from my exp. still have my old ones from 4yrs. ago and use them frequently

Picture on web showed drive in a box but when delivered was am OEM unit. No SATA cable,No drivers. Found it a huge inconvenience to track these down.

Giving it a 5 star based on all the previous reviews. Returned drive upon receiving. Needed & was expecting sata cable, as well as Nero 8 and everything else pictured. Wasn't aware of OEM meaning you just get the drive & nothing else! If youv'e never knowingly run into OEM before, how are you supposed to know what it means??

This was a great purchase, this Writer is fast, and was SO easy to install! I have always had nothing but good things to say about Lite-on products. Plus ordering from this site was fast, easy and hassle free, will be ordering from them again soon! AWESOME product!

This drive pretty much does it all, and does it all well. I was building a new computer and purchased this drive because it was a dual layer burner. The drive installed seamlessly and had no conflicts with any other components. I highly recommend it.

Does everything it should at a fast rate, so its great value for the price. LiteOn always seems to deliver a quality product though most of their model differences remain a mystery to me.

Been using this drive for over a month and am really happy with it. It reads cd's really fast. It also sounds like a jet turbine when spooling up too. Will buy again when I need another one.
