When I first saw these for sale, I was a little skeptical about how well they would work. I saw a large price difference between the different brands. I picked this one because of the great reviews and I have to say this is a great dock! XP picked it up and it tranfered the files very fast. Very Happy!

I bought this hard drive dock after my work laptop suddenly 'couldn't find the hard drive'. I wanted to try to recover my files before passing it on to the tech guys to fix the problem. It was able to find my hard drive, and transfer all of the important files to my home desktop, which was a great relief. It is very easy to use and transferred quickly.

Plug in the power cord, hook up the USB, stick your SATA HD in, and it's recognized right away! No drivers or software necessary. Works perfect on my WinXP PC & my Mac. Booyah!

Very great quality, useful product. It looks solid, the design is awesome, totally worth the price. I'm using it to transfer files from old or spare drives and I couldn't ask more than what it offers.

Did the same thing as previous buyers. I bought 2 of these and have one connected to a digital media player and connected the second to my PC. I wouldn't dare buy a different brand, both work effortlessly!

The hard drive interface worked perfectly out of the box. I was able to retrieve some critical files from a dead computer.

I am using it with my iMac running Snow Leopard and it works great! I have also used it on machines running Windows XP and Windows Vista. It is a wise investment.

I had bought two of theses docks. I connected one to a wd wdtv 1080p media player the USB cable was a little short so I bought a 2 meter one. The other one I bought I connected to my computer. Works Great!

No fuss hook-up, just plug it in and it works wonderfully. Oh, if you need a longer USB cable be sure to match them up. This uses the type most printers do.

I can see the files are still intact on drive so I can recover the files from broken HD.

We use these in pairs to record movies. One computer records and we watch from the other, then we swap drives. Sure makes live easy no more transferring files over USD 2.

this product works as it indicates, it was a good addon to transfer to hard drives efficiently but Esata would be a major plus.

Perfect for backing up drives. I have a 1tb drive that holds all my data and I use the docking station to do back upsm works perfectly.

I bought this to use with my old laptop HDD (bought a bigger one to replace it) and I was immediately impressed by how fast it was. Copying files over to my new Windows 7 install (50GB or so at a time) stayed at a pretty constant 30MB/s according to the Windows transfer dialog.It's noticeably faster than my WD Passport 250GB drive (in both cases, using 2.5" 5400rpm drives)Only downside is that it isn't quite as tiny as my portable drive, but this isn't really meant to be moved around, so it's forgivable.Overall, very happy with the product.

I was surprised how sleek and slim it looked when I opened the box. Great for those who have a lot of smaller SATA drives lying around the house. Great value for the price.

I got this one by mistake thinking this one is with e-sata. Well this one is lot better than Nexstar enclosure. It work better with my mobo.

Great docking station for the Hard Drives I need to dig up for information without the hassle of installing it into my Desktop.Wish there was some protection for the Hard Drive. Who knows what might happen to the thing.
