VERY EASY to setup, Even for my Daughter, who is a Non-Techie girl. All in all, an EXCELLENT router. This is a gift for her, and EVEN she has it up & running.

Easy setup, works well with any computer/ laptop. there were a couple issues hooking it up to wii's wifi but nintendo covers the procedures in its wifi FAQ

Easy set up, out of the box operational. Did not need extended range, so this was ideal for our application. Can use computer anywhere in house instead of being limited where I could connect to a hard wire.

I had issues at first and could not get it to work after calling support. I connected to a second computer and it worked great. Turns out my ethernet card was bad on first computer. Replaced that and it worked great. Third comp. is wireless and connected at 108mbs after setting security settings.

These routers are top of the line and have an amazing range. The speed when having multiple uses online stays constant and no lags what so ever. I would purchase them again at this price for all of my customers. I run my own computer business and everyone that I have sold them to loves them as well.

I bought this product to link my kids computer to our internet service without having to run new cable. It works very well. The plus is my colege age daughter can now use her laptop when she comes home to visit. Tiger Direct had it on my doorstep the next day after ordering. I am very satisfied and would recommend the product and Tiger Direct.

I bought this to create a private LAN and give my laptop wireless access. Runs great, the webpage-based configuration is excellent, and I get 4 bars at 30 feet with two concrete walls in the way. The only downside is that when there's heavy use on the wireless, the wired access slows down a good bit. Other than that, awesome product! Thanks Tiger!

Works great! I didn't even need to download any software. Just plugged it in and opened Internet Explorer and the router's wizard started automatically. The big LED is annoying but there is a switch to turn off the light.

I hated to have to replace my USR 8054, but it started failing. i bought this as it was cost effective. (cheap!!!) paid for regular shipping. the time from ordering to delivery was 3 days. it is a WPN824v2 1/2 hour set up. running in basement, laptop 50 feet away on the main floor, 5 bars, 108 Mbps rate. biggest time was updating the firmware and securing the site. great bargin.

Can't beat the price. Glad to get rid of my D-Link too. Only downside is that the blue LED light show is blinding and the refurbished unit didn't come with a sunshade :-)

I ordered this and got it three days later. It does come without the disk which initially worried me - but it's a breeze to get up and running. The disk isn't even needed. The price can't be beat and I have yet to find a spot that it won't reach! Great product. Thanks to the TigerDirect rep on the phone by the way! GREAT customer service!

I purchased this to replace an old router that kicked the bucket. This item didn't install as easy as most Netgears normally do. I continued to use it for a week before beginning to see the difference in speed. I'm connecting to my laptop at wireless B speeds no matter what channel or config I use (the laptop is N). Got lazy and never returned it. I plan on replacing this with a Netgear or Linksys N router (new of course).

I bought one new a couple years ago for app. $70. Better than the standard ''g'' routers. No problems. Refurbs cost less; you take your chances.

I'll give this router good marks for now. I ordered it on Monday and got it Wednesday. I got some advice from the reviews and set it up in no time flat. Ten minutes and i'm on line and surfing the web. Great product!

Works Great!! It has no cd, but it is not needed. Just access the router and do the manual set up.

Hmm what to say. First off I have a new one and a refurb. On the plus side there's no difference in the quality on the downside the new model is conking out after 5 months. I had another Netgear router which conked out at 18 months. I don't believe this brand lasts. The other thing is that there's 3 different HW versions that support different features. The V3 supports QoS the older ones don't. And so on. I wish Netgear would eliminate that dumb blue light and put on external antenna port.

This product is supposed to come with an install CD but came with a piece of paper that says to go online and download the software - there is nothing on the page for this product to download. When calling Netgear, you get someone who's grasp of English is horrid and tells you they do not support refurbished products unless you email them and wait. The manual states to not plug it in until you have the CD software in the drive first. Worst purchase I have made on here and I have made a LOT for me as well as many other people.

I've never dealt with wireless before so I was a little worried when I found out that the refurbished units don't come with an installation disk. I went to the TrendNet site, searched for the model, found the setup instructions, and made it happen. The signal strength is great throughout my entire house (my house is three stories with the router in the basement), the speed is fast, and I've had zero problems going on two weeks. Great product at an incredible price! Get one while they last!

I have had this router for over a year now and it has been fantastic. Coverage is great. Signal strength is always high. The router is on the first floor of my townhouse and I use my laptops upstairs and downstairs. No problems. I've got one laptop with a wireless G (108mbps) card in it, another with wireless N, and desktop with 108mbps wireless G, and it works great with all of them. I also have other computers and a printer connected via ethernet, and they all connect with no problems. I don't really feel the need for wireless N, even when my wife and I are both using the web at the same time.

Hooked it up last week and, seriously, wow! Just connect it up, access internet, it takes you to the set-up site, a few clicks later and you're on. This outperforms the Rosewill I had before to the extent that I'm thinking the Rosewill must have been broken. Great speed, distance, and performance . . . couldn't be happier. I literally can't tell the difference between the wifi and the ethernet connection performance and that goes for anywhere in or around my house. I just hope it lasts!
