I bought it and it worked perfectly. Easy to setup too: 1) Plug in the power and see if it turns on. 2) Take the ethernet cord from your pc and put it in the router. 3) Take the supplied ethernet and plug one end into port one (of the router) and the other into your pc 4) Power cycle your modem, and restart your computer 5) Go into a browser, and the setup tool should be there.

Purchased this router based on reviews and value (cheap). Product arrived dead, nothing worked. Tried everything. No support number, manual online was no help. My shoe worked as well as this router. Sent back for a replacement, but received another adapter rather than the router. I admit having very good service and products from Tigerdirect in the past, but this experience has been frustrating at the least.

Great product, at a fabulous price from Tiger. My wireless connections are now as fast as my wired ports (limited only by my roadrunner, not the local wireless I set up with this router). I got the matching rangemax card for my laptop, and they work great. It also worked immediately and effortlessly w/ a mac laptop my girlfriend has. A few clicks and I was up and rolling. Highly recommended, especially at this price.

I got to give this piece a Solid 5 all around. This Router is usually $90 - $120 at most stores. Even at most internet locations! I am getting 4 - 5 bars at every location in my house. Very Reliable, very inexpensive, AWESOME PRODUCT. Very happy with my buy. Thx Tigerdirect!! woot woot

Good price for the router, it was easy to set up(I'm not tech savvy). Online set up is better than installing the software on CD. The range is not as good as I expected, it was about the same as my previous SMC G router but not bad overall.

It works great! Only slight thing is the fact that it works with only g. It says b and g for options, but b is worthless. It constantly kicks you off the b, but the g works perfectly. Fast, reliable, and cheap! I would buy this again. btw, we have a wireless in the detached garage, and it not only reaches, it has not lost a signal yet. So this definitely has an excellent range.

Great router for the price. This thing is about twice the size of my old Netgear routers, and the range almost the same as my old 54mbps. The setup is the same as any other netgear router so if you know how to setup up those then you should be able to set this up in about 5 minutes. I like the blue LEDs they add a little flare to the giant. Good work Tiger Direct.

Hey Everyone; Quick Question. Thie Router was a snap to install and use with two Dell Latitude 630 machines in the Apt. But I also have a Dell Precision 670 Workstation with a Linksys G PCi Adapter. Everything appears fine but I get an Access Point error when the adapter tries to reach out to the router. Any ideas? All security information has been entered correctly (verified a million times) and I even disabled the Netgear software and tried to connect using the Windows Wireless manger. Thanks for any help provided.

Anyone who is on here complaining about the setup process is just too stupid to figure it out. Yes the lack of a setup CD threw me off at first, but included with this router is a huge piece of paper that tells you to go to netgear.com to download what you need. And yes once you get there if you are a first timer like me it is still a little confusing because the files it wants you to download your pc will tell you it can't open.....so here is what you do. Forget going to the website to search for drvers and stuff, just go ahead and go to the site on the back of the router. So here it is in little baby steps. 1. Take it out of the box 2. Plug it in 3. Type in the web address it gives you on the back of the untit. 4. Set it up and enjoy your new router!!! In my opinion if you cant figure out how to hook up this router then you are too damn dumb to be on a pc in the first place!

OK....I got the point, easy blanket statement for the negative reviews ''Don't buy a refurbished product if you don't have any technical experience whatsoever.'' This unit is great! Works 100% like a new unit and comes without support or installation disk. But, go to 192.168.1.1 on your browser, enter admin as the user and password as the password and every other question in the firmware has context sensitive help. Anyone who has previously set up a router and wants to upgrade will have a great experience with this router! Great price + great locations and web presence = TIGER DIRECT!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Latest in a long string of netgear products that I have used and I LOVE it. the MIMO tech works just as it should so I am getting close to the 108Mbps even through a couple of walls. setup was a breeze once I figured how to configure it so Comcast would let my full network get online. Five Stars.

Come on people, if it don't come with the disk just hook it up type routerlogin.net in browser, enter admin for username and password for the password and login and run setup directly from the router. I bought mine new not refurbished and It's great. Most refurbished units are just returns where people don't know how to hook it up. Thanks.

This little router is amazing. By far the easiest set up for a router I've ever seen. Walks you right through the process. Couldn't be easier. Working with a wired XP box and wireless iBook. Haven't had a problem yet. Definitely an excellent buy for the money.

Excellent deal on an excellent router. Do not let the fact that it's a refurb scare you away. Signal is strong and matched with my Netgear 108mbps pcmcia card in my laptop, which I also bought here, I couldn't be happier. Outstanding job yet again TigerDirect

Comment:
Bought this router mainly because it has that Extend Range Technology and thought why not try it. Well, after a week of running continuously it works great! Definitely reaches in places where there was literally no signal with my old router-it went from no signal in my bedroom to 4 out of 5 bars- outstanding. no complaints whatsoever. I had no qualms about it being refurbished either. That just means someone had it for like a week and returned it-big deal. Actually because it was refurbished I saved about $60 since a new one at Circuit City costs around $95 thanks Tiger Direct for another great deal on a great product. You guys are THE BEST.
