I got this product and it worked for the first week but then it kept going out, the signal would get lost and I had to wait a day or two for it to work again. I ended up buying another one.

I setup my wireless router and was on the internet in about 15 minutes. I have no blackout areas inside my home and can even use it outside on the patio or in the yard. I highly recommend this product. And it is a great bargain.

Have had no issues with it at all. Hasn't ever dropped the wireless signal (Which my old Linksys router was apt to do). The only issue I had was that I needed a crossover cable to connect to my network switch, as this router apparently doesn't autodetect an uplink connection like my Linksys did. I did find it amusing that it told me to download the documentation, which would have been tricky if my old router had been completely dead. And thankfully, you can turn off the crazy LED lights if you don't wish for your room to look like the bridge of the USS Enterprise.

had a problem installing it on Vista, so switched over to XP and it zipped though .... great for the price

My network includes 2 desktops, 2 laptops, and 1 iPhone and this router handles all of them beautifully. Set up was fairly easy and I am very pleased with the quality and price of the router. Bottom Line: This router works great!

Easy to set up, if you don't know anything about routers, you will need to download the user's manual. Works great, great signal throughout the house.

How can NetGear stay in business making flaky stuff like this? When it worked, it worked good, but then went into self-test mode and never came back, after only in service for 1 day. I am not sending it back, its on the pile of other dead electronics to ship to the recycle bin.

This router is extremely unstable, wasn't able to maintain a connection for more than an hour. the wireless constantly drops, and there aren't any possible interference around it. i am pretty annoyed and disappointed, have about two weeks with it and am bout to return it. although is only $20, i prefer to spend more on something that actually is reliable.

Does exactly what its supposed to, I bought 2 of these for a base station and repeater for an existing network. Can be a little tricky setting up but it is doable.

I bought it for use with cable modem, I had to use the manual installation since the automated one mixed up. The box is very sensitive to the environment and other equipment near by. Wireless can suddenly disappear and will require reboot. It was a mistake to buy it.

I just received this and its working fantastically. Set up took a while because i wasnt sure on were the download was but your supposed to find out your the IP through the control panel (and it didnt even look close to my ip, it was 10.10.. but yours may be different) You then type that in your internet browser and it goes to the set up for the wifi router. After that it worked great, good deal, especially for a refurb (i hope, only time can tell)

I bought this to replace an older model that sometimes needs to be reset and does not have the greatest signal strength. However, there is way too much noise to maintain reliable connections more than a few feet away and it won't let me change channels.

i bought this as a backup for my wpn824 i bought new a couple years back that keeps dropping its wifi settings once a month. I bought this and kept it in a box for a few months, went to use it and it was all but dead. i have had great luck with tigers refurbs, but this one let me down.

Meets all my wireless 'G' needs. Literally a breeze to set up with the online: you type in the (internet) address on box and in as little as 10 minutes you're set up. You can even download the latest firmware updates! In my case my wifi connection is premium--I strongly suggest it!

It take me all night to set it up without purchase an item with no setup CD and menu. Download from web is a challenge but after setup I like it stong and wide coverage area.

I have always been a Net Gear fan. Just liked the white shell I suppose, but I usually look for Net Gear first and have not been dissapointed. Sometimes I have trouble with initial set-up but I think that is due to service provider difficulties. This is definetly not the fastest out there, but if you just want something for online browsing and some light gaming this is the way to go. I have used these routers with up to 12 players on 4 Xbox 360s (Local Network only) without a problem and have had up to 2 Xbox 360s and 2 people on WoW at once and still ran smooth so it is good enough for me

This is an excellent router..Just a little heads up, you'll have to configure the router but, if you know a liitle something about computers, this is a piece of cake. Very happy with this product.
