Of course with any Linux distro there is more tweaking to get set up just right for you but this router worked great out of the box even with no manual to work with. And the price is outstanding!

I've had this router for about 4 weeks now, and have had only one instance of it resetting itself on me. For the price paid, this is probably the best wireless router available. I have had no problems with wireless connectivity after initial setup, and all of my networked devices recognize and communicate with each other very well.

At this price you can't beat it. My daughter needed a router for college and this one is working great. For $20 you can lose.

Even though the unit I purchased was a refurb--I had not problems detecting DSL signals once installed properly. Netgear makes the best routers for homes or commercial use. Would recommend this product at any time--price was an icing on the sweet cake!

Okay so the fact that it does not have documentation is a little frustrating especially for someone with very little experience in wireless routers. Also the power socket seems to be loose and will not have good contact and occasionally reset. It was okay for the price.

I purchased this router to replace an older D-Link I have. The D-Link was intermittent to connect with my laptop so replaced it. I had difficulty getting the Netgear unit to start talking to my DSL Motorola modem. Took severl days fo trying. I called Netgear but they don't give phone support on Refirb gear. Finally got the connection and seems to be OK now. Have had the unit about a month.

This router is one of the best I have worked with. It fixed dead spots in my home where the previous router could not get a signal into my master bedroom. I bought a second one for the office too. This router is easy to setup, use, and most importantly doesn't cause network problems on my office network like my old router did. I would give it 5 stars because this product does what it says it will do and it works very well. It even solved my dead zone problem.

Got this refurbished router, looks new, performs like new. Really increased my wireless performance throughout the house compared to previous 11g router. 4 stars for features because, though it works, I don't prefer the netgear router interface. Of course getting from this retailer was, as usual, a great experience.

Works well but the wireless range is not as good as my old WRT54G router. I have only had this router for a month or so and it's pretty solid so far. It is recertified though so time will tell.

I bought this as I could not get a steady signal in my garage from the house with my Linksys WRTG54, so with reading the reviews and the claims about this router (Netgear WPN824 V3) many were stating improved signal strength... well anyways it is not any stronger than my Linksys was. It was easy to set up, similar to the Linksys. The ring of blue leds are cool for about a min, glad you can turn those off. Slim size and the ability to stand up is nice. There are no external ant ports so you cannot install high gain antennas so your stuck with what the range is. Lastly I have had to boot it almost on a weekly basis as you cannot access network drives or the internet (obviously). Overall, it gets the job done, but really no better than a Linksys, cost wise it was on sale here (Tiger).

It was a refurb and am very impressed with the ease of set up and reliability so far. The tricky part was finding the manual set up instructions. Those were hidden throughout the manual.

I purchased one of these routers for my girlfriends parents house. It was SUPER CHEAP and turned out to be an excellent router! I plugged it in and it immediately starting working perfectly. Range is great, so is the quality of the connection. No complaints what-so-ever! Very satisfied with the product!

Set up was not too bad. Had to go online for info on how to install it and set up the network, but once we did that it was fine. I love the blinking blue light feature and can shut it off if I want. Great value and great product
