The only down side to this adapter was that it didn't come with the driver CD, but a quick download from netgear's website wasn't too difficult. The setup was easy and quick, and this unit performs BEYOND my expectations. Would highly recommend!

Wow! It works through 2 exterior walls and 350 feet away, I'm sharing internet with a neighbor. We did have to fiddle with positioning and make sure it was as close to line-of site as possible, but we have a 28% connection. It is rock solid stable and fast. I'm using it with a Netgear Rangemax wireless router WPN824.(also recommend) Adapter does run a bit warm.

cam probably wasnt smart enough to download the xp64 drivers cause it works fine on my my system with xp64. and as far as connectivity, this device is on my computer in my room with three walls and 25 feet of space between it and my router and gets a better signal than the linksys adapter on my pc that is just ten feet away from my router with one wall in between. and picks up signals from several of my neighbors that the linksys cant. it is cheap, and works fantastically well. its a great buy!!

As a refurb adapter, it's a great value. I bought it because it was cheap and I've had good experiences with Netgear products before. It's worked on every computer I've plugged it in. However, it doesn't pick up signals as well as say, built-in laptop wireless adapters. It can also get annoying because it constantly has a blue LED light that flashes on and off and on and off non-stop that was so aggravating that I had to cover it with tape. However, otherwise it seems like a good buy.

got this for my uncles computer but tryed to test it on mine first and just want to let you know it dose not work with XP64

Adapter works quite well. Good signal strenght. I bought this one to replace one I broke. Be careful not to bend the adapter when it is plugged in the USB.

I received this adapter about a week ago, and so far it has worked great. The only problem I had, which was fixed, was due to an error on my part. I feel this is, and will continue to be, a very good buy.
