Works ok in short range
Comment:
This product works ok for what you pay for. I just got it to work on computers two rooms away from my wireless router, and sometimes I get full signal and sometimes I get much less.

worked with no problems
Comment:
Had to download the software from Netgear. Seems it could have come with the product or even had it loaded onto the device. Installed the software, plugged up the adapter and it's working fine. only get 54Mbps though.

Nice Wireless Adapter
Comment:
I purchased this item for a friend and set it up on her laptop, it was an easy setup. She is very pleased with her new wireless Netgear adapter as it works really well with WiFi in her area. Mission acomplished and for a reasonable price.

Good Value
Comment:
I am pleased with the Netgear WPN111 USB wireless adapter so far. I have had it for a couple of weeks. It installed quickly and was easy for me to configure. The range was good for such a small device. Better than the built-in one on my laptop. One thing, however, I was not able to attain the 108mbps speed that was advertised because I have older 802.11G devices that max out at 54mbps in use. The system won't run in MIMO mode when older hardware needs to be used. Oh well, I can't complain at this price.

Get what you pay for
Comment:
The software is dated 2005. It can't pick up a router located in the same house where the laptop can pick up a very good signal. I get a code 10 - device can't start which is normally indicative of poorly written software.

I originally bought this as a temporary fix for a small office network. I now use it in my Wii, works perfect. Plus you can't beat that price.

Really good deal!!!
Comment:
A very good product, installs easily and performs as advertised. The adapter shipped and arrived at my address quickly. Two things to be aware of, if you have a previous version of the Netgear software, uninstall it completely before trying this model and you have to download the new software from the internet, so make sure you have internet access on something so that you can do that (you can't connect wirelessly on the computer you're trying to install on because the adapter isn't installed until the software is downloaded and installed.)

Works as intended
Comment:
Just got this in and it pretty much was plug-and-play. Just had to get drivers on Netgear's website for a old Win 98 machine but it worked just fine with that, good signal. Instaled on a Win XP machine just as easy. Will probably get another one to go back onto the Win 98 machine as it was intended for the XP machine.

Very Satisfied
Comment:
Price was right for how well it works. The signal seemed low at times for reasons that I can't explain. No problems cutting in and out or anything else like the last one (different brand) than I had. One downside is that it could have came with some sort of stand as opposed to just laying it somewhere and putting tape on it to hold in place...

Cant load device with out CD
Comment:
They sent me a paper that said to go to Netgear's site to load drivers. Well thats kinda hard if I am loading a network device that I need to work first to get there, they should have sent a CD with it.
