For $11, it connects fine with no drop signal with my Belkin N router but I have not receive 108mbps. It has been connecting at 54 mbps. I bought this USB adapter to connect my 4 year old laptop as the built-in wifi card was connecting slower & slower as it aged. There is no driver supplied with this adapter. You have to download the latest driver from Netgear's site.

I purchased this product to replace an identical one purchased with my PC. Prior to replacing I would lose connectivity and have to reboot PC, sometimes several times at a sitting. I don't know if problem was with old adapter or with cable or both, but with new adapter which came with thicker cable I have had no problem. Also the price was only a fraction of original product.

I purchased this item because Ithought that it would work perfectly for home. Unfortunately I was disappointed because it keep dropping the singal every now and then.I find this quite annoying and therefore unsatisfied.

Got it, made it work but there is some problem with the driver. Every time the computer is started we have to input the wifi network code. Aside of that it's working fine. My daughter who's using is not complaining then it must be working fine. BTW fast delivery, thanks

I bought this for $9.99 and the performance of it is just fine. Only problem was finding the driver for it, it being a recert made it a bit hard to find the drivers for it, but once up and running worked fine.

My laptop wifi bit the dust and the NetGear WPN111 Wireless Adapter did the trick!

Worked well out of the box and good performance for a USB adapter. Setup is easy. Windows 7 was able to recognize it after a clean windows installation. Does not get hot as some others say (download files watching youtube at the same time did not cause it to heat up).

I've been with them for many years (at least 5 now), and I have ordered thousands of dollars worth of equipment, includung refurb&recert items. Never had a problem until this adapter. It would keep disconnecting from the network after a few mionutes, and I tried it on multiple computers with many different configurations. Called Netgear,not much help, and this company, and finally was told that a replacement was on its way! Thanks for your great service!!!

I was a little skeptical when I ordered this and was pleasntly surprised to find how well it works. The telephone service was absolutely great.

I purchased 7 of these to make the desktops in a after school work center wireless. I took several trys to get the right driver loaded but once I got the correct driver loaded everything has worked great. It would have been a lot easier if a note with website to get the driver was included in the box.

I needed a new wireless to connect a laptop to my home network. All I did was plug in the Netgear adapter and my Vista PC recognized it immediately. the adapter comes with a 3 foot USB cable with allows you move it to a better location. It has good reception though located 40 feet from the router.

The device works just fine, but does not deliver the 108 Mbps advertised, only 54. I even downloaded the driver and software from the Netgear website. I have a Netgear Rangemax 108 router that it should work with, so therefore should get the 108. This was disappointing.

When the wireless adapter on my daughter's HP DV6000 died due to a motherboard defect, our only alternative was to go to a USB adapter. My daughter is not at all technical and XP wirless set is not always easy. I was waiting for the panic call after the WPN111 arrived at her dorm. All I got was a text message to say she plugged it in and it worked perfectly. Nuff said!

I had a weak signal and got worse the longer it was used. I got it for a desktop but ended up purchasing a pci adapter.

I was lucky that I had another way to access the internet or else I would not have been able to get it installed. Also, since it does not come with the installation CD, it would be nice to have clearer instructions on where to go to get instructions. I found the NETGEAR website hard to navigate and hard to find anything. I had to go elsewhere to find the installation CD. Finding it took more time than anything. Once I got it set up, it worked good. I would that there was a different design i found that if i leave it in the laptop the kids bend and break it like the one that i replaced!! oh well someone will make one that will be sturdier.

Usb is too thick. And no driver with it. How could you go online, looking for drivers when it's for your network card? Hint, Install netgear software, copy driver folder in the installation directory to your desktop. Uninstall this stupid software via add and remove programs and install the wireless key with this driver folder you just save on your desktop. Otherwise, this usb wireless adaptor, working like it should be.

It works, What else is there to know? I guess my only complaint is that it is now being advertised for the price of $9.99 and I paid $12.99 when I bought it. Oh well, still a great value!
