Excellent USB Adapter
Comment:
Works like a charm the first time I attempted to configure it on a Windows XP machine. Signal is great as the computer is in my basement as compared to other brand I had which had weak signal strength.

Very good for price
Comment:
After reading other reviews I thought I'd add My two cents: I have a wifi2200 air card from verizon and wanted to have wireless access to several computers in My home. Since We are not Big time Gamers or anything the wpn111 is more than adequate for our needs. I did have to go to the netgear website and download a driver but I just burned it to a cd and installed it to all our computers. Now WE have wireless internet on all of our computers. So I consider the wpn111 to be a very good buy

THIS COMPANY SELLS JUNK WITH NO SUPPORT
Comment:
Their product is not only the biggest pile of junk I ever wasted money on, the most important aspect is that after spending close to 10 hrs on the phone with these most unknowledgeable individuals, there is no support to their product. According to the customer service management team, they do not sell products to customers. They only sell to distributors and do not consider or treat us the customer as a valuable aspect to their business. Of all the computer companies I've dealt with over the many years, THIS COMPANY IS BY FAR THE MOST AGGREVATING , DISRESPECTFUL COMPANY I WILL NEVER HAVE THE MISFORTUNE IN DEALING WITH AGAIN. SPEND A LITTLE MORE FOR A DEVICE THAT IS SUPPORTED BY THOSE THAT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS, OR YOU MAY BE DESIRING TO POST A SIMILAR PATHETIC EXPERIENCE AS WE HAVE. AS THEY SAY, LET THE BUYER BEWARE.

Not what was advertised
Comment:
As noted in comments by others, this device only tops out at 54Mbps, not 108. Also, I have to, occasionally, physically disconnect and reconnect the device: sometimes, even at the Network and Sharing Center. It also gets hot. Not as stable as previous refurbished Netgear adapters I've purchased, here.

Waste of Time
Comment:
The product simply doesn't work. I tried it for a while and never noticed speeds in excess of 54Mbps. I went to the website and according to their FAQ's, the device will only exceed 54 Mbps during large downloads. I was under the impression it would speed things up on a regular basis. Since I already had a Super G wifi, I expected to get the full 108 Mbps, so I wasted my money. It was very cheap, and if I want to return it, I will be throwing good money after bad because the freight is almost the same as the product. If anyone wants this, I have one that I'll be happy to sell for less than I paid to recoup part of my ''investment''. My recommendation is to acquire a ''N'' wifi and adapter if you want to increase your speed.

Good Value, Basic Features and Functions
Comment:
For $11, I now can free my 2nd computer from the wires and do some basic internet browsing and email away from the crowded computer table. Max speed only 48mbs for me. Don't know where to make it to 108mbs as the sales claim. Maybe a bogus claim. It serves my simple purpose to browse the web.

Great price, know what to expect
Comment:
As long as your clear this isn't a top of the line model, This is the cheapest solution for getting basic wireless internet. I think it's perfect, but I'm just using it for email.

It works
Comment:
I got it with the rangemax router. It works fine at 54. I have not figured out how to get it connected at 108. That part might be advertising hype. But for $10 you get a solid 54 Mbps and thats a steal! So get it you-really can't beat the price.

Excellent Wireless but I wonder
Comment:
This WPN111 is by far stronger in signal strength than other brands I have tried. I just plugged it in and the drivers installed automatically too. The only thing I dont like is it gets really hot. Which I am guessing is the reason why it needed refurbished-recertified in the first place. Only time will tell, but I wanted everyone to know just in case this curbs there wanting one.

buy some other brand
Comment:
This product does not work on Windows ME and is not flagged as such. I found a down level version for ME at the netgear site but it does not fully install properly such that the wizard does not start. There are no error messages either in the installation nor in the execution. I am writing off the $12.99 and marking the tigersite as unreliable for PC products.

Good Product Great Price
Comment:
Very simple to install after you download the drivers. Had the adapter up and running in very little time. Only disappointment is that I can only get 54Mbps. According to the manual, I should have an Advanced Tab to change from 54 to 108Mbps, but it's nowhere to be found. Overall, very satisfied with it.

I attempted to install and was getting no where. I found a site that had a different config file to use and this didn't work either. Time to buy a linksys and be done with it.

Comment:
I AM DIS-SATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT. THINKING THE PRODUCT WAS A BARGAIN ON SALE I SHOULD HAVE FOLLOWED MY FIRST MIND AND PURCHASED A NEW ONE. IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL AND I AM ABOUT TO TOSS IT IN THE TRASH BECAUSE I THINK IT IS TOO LATE TO GET A REPLACEMENT. SOMETIMES GOING THE CHEAP ROUTE IS THE WRONG ONE BECAUSE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.......

Great price and awsome performance.
Comment:
I must admit it was a little difficult to install the wireless adapter without any drivers( there not included with the refurb model ) but after downloading them from the site that was listed on the paper sent with my order everything was fine. I did have to call customer service at one point but they walked me through everything and were extremely helpful ( 5 stars for the Customer Service ). The adapter works great and my internet has been up running without any issues since the devise was installed. All in all I would recommend this product to anyone and look forward to using Net Gear in the future..
