108Mbps ??
Comment:
I bought this last week and was having problem getting its to operate at 108Mpbs on my Vista. I found out that during setup, If I choose to setup via NetGear's Smart Utility, I could only get 54Mbps. However, if I choose manual setup via Windows networking protocal, I could get the speed up to 108Mbps.

Below Expectations
Comment:
I bought this expecting to get better reception out of it than my old wireless draft-G adapter. When I recieved it, it didn't come with any driver or software disk and the drivers were not preinstalled on Windows 7. And trying to install it on a computer with no internet, it was a pain to go download the driver on another computer, put it on a flash drive, and download it on my computer. Also, the reception I get with this adapter is quite dismal. In my bedroom, which is only about 100 feet from the the router, I only get two bars of reception, unless I position it in an awkward way, I might get three bars out of a possible five. I would not recommend this adapter, I have a Belkin and a Linksys that get much better reception from a Linksys wireless router.

Works Great
Comment:
My router is standard issue by ATT and is located in a bedroom 40 ft away. The desktop computer this is hooked to is in another bedroom. Where your router is located makes a difference. Appliances (like in the kitchen) will block some signel. Walls seems to have little to no effect. This was easy to setup and works very well.

Only got for free shipping
Comment:
My order was like 95, shipping was around 10, ended up only costing me a few dollars. Let me move my comp without having to buy a wireless card. Works great and I never get dropped, glad I bought it.

Works Great!
Comment:
I bought one of these when my laptop's internal wireless card quit working. Easy to install, and works great. At this price, I decided to buy a second one in case something happens to this one.

Much better than the price makes it seem
Comment:
typically you get what you pay for, but this adapter is really a great value. My wireless router is located on the first floor of my house ,and it is the cheapest router on the market. This wireless adapter is on a computer in my basement. My signal strength is always excellent. No issues and great value.

Great product for the price
Comment:
I installed it with no issues. It didn't come with a driver disc, but it was easy enough to download it from Netgear's site. I purchased this one as a gift, because I've owned one for a year and it works great!

Nice product
Comment:
This products works fine in 54MBPS. Detects neighbors networks from hundreds yards away. The only problem I have is that also I used 104MBPS router, the adapter was working at 54MBPS. I do not know if it is a problem with the router or with the adapter. The driver software I downloaded from Netgear web site does not have a setup option for 104MBPS.

Works Great as long as you are using a 32-bit OS
Comment:
Purchased this and found that netgear has pulled their beta 64-bit drivers. Also, there were no drivers in the box (generally not a big deal, but thought it was worth mentioning).

You simply cannot beat the value of this Adapter!
Comment:
I decided to distribute all four computers in my household to the rooms of the family members using them and selected the WPN111 as the inexpensive adapter of choice for this task. I plugged two of the adapters into Windows XP and the other two into Windows Vista computers and in less than an hour all four computers were up and running wirelessly. All four recertified adapters are running perfectly with no problems and their speed is just fine for our needs, no wires needed. One of the computers is operating about 110 ft. from the wireless router and only has a signal strength of two bars, but it still works just fine after being in service for two weeks. I simply don't know how I could have completed this task more effectively using less money or effort.
