Comment:
It brought temperatures down at least 7c (full load running hour+ extended CAD renderings) compared to my previously installed Corsair H50 and it fit in my Cooler Master Elite 430 situation perfectly! Its quiet, but even if it was loud, it couldn't be louder than my 110 cfm exhaust fan. I can't see my fairly Gigabyte Motherboard any longer =( I was amazed that it fit in my situation. I had to eliminate the best two 120mm fans I had installed but the height of the cooler blows the air straight through the rear exhaust so it flows nicely. I'm certain if I get some faster intake fans on my case I will get even lower temps. Almost everything you have heard is correct. This point is worth the money. Just get it. Noctua is the Rolls Royce of cooling.Rig:Intel i7 970 oc 3.68 ghz (now with additional space to OC further)Gigabyte x58-ud3r motherboard12gigs xms3 @ 1600PNY Nvidia Quadro 2000 workstation graphics cardAntec 650 watt PS2x500 gig WD Caviar Black HDD (raid1)Cooler Master Elite 430 mid tower

Cons:I don't like the color of the fans. Its brown and ugly. Wish they would give other colors.

Pros:Huge surface area to cool the CPU. Its pretty much silent. Even at full speed.
Comment:
Cools my CPU easily. It was bigger than I had expected. For the next cooler I will probably go with one of the Corsair water cooled ones.

The greatest air cooler, periodSandy Bridge 2600K at four.5Ghz runs at 65C tops beneath 100% loadNo clearance difficulties - even with ripjaws which have considerably high "fins"Absolutely silentEffortless to assemble, easy to preserve. Nothing that you don't already know. Color, value - you can see them clearly on Newegg before you purchase, can't you?. If the color or the value bother you, why acquire it in the initial location? Very pleased with my buy.

Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler
Cons:Brown fans? I wish they were black or grey. Brown doesn't go with anything..

Pros:- What can I say, awesome cooling and near dead silence. I can't get my CPU up to 50 degrees and I still don't hear the fans!- They give you 3-4 times more heatsink compound than you need so you can save it for other installs.- It's packaged to survive. The postman would have to run it over with his truch to damage this thing!
Comment:
If possible, plug everything near the CPU into your motherboard before installing this because it's probably going to make it hard to plug in your 4/8 pin power connector and any fan headers that are nearby.

Cons:Too big. My rams are blocking the cooler but then again it's my fault for buying ram with high heatsink

Pros:HUUUUGEEEE everyone look at my cooler when I take off my side panel

Does an outstanding job keeping my quad core phenom II cool beneath max load. It dropped average temp among five and ten degrees. The style is the finest that I have ever noticed for a heatsink. It's tall sufficient to fit more than the top of the DDR modules and the position of each fans is completely adjustable and can even be removed. This thing is gargantuan. I doubt it would ever fit in something other than a full tower computer situation but it certainly does it's job properly. I have no complaints.

Massive and COLDStraightforward to install. It's enormous! It could result in issues with tall RAM, but at least you can adjust the fans larger if you want to., helped me out a lot.My Corsair Vengeance stick ƒnd slot) touches it. Not that massive a deal to me.

Extremely incredibly effortless to install, even for someone like me who has two left hands and zero hand eye coordination. Awesome instructions in the box.Really silent, i have this in a 600t and you can barely hear the fans on complete speed.Keeps anything good and frosty, I have my i5 2500k oc'd to 4.6ghz at 1.325v and it keeps it in between 58-62 on complete load. none seriously, really content with the product

Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler
Cons:-Cooling block is HUGE-Fan noise is noticeable unless the included ultra low noise adapter is used

Pros:Cools well, my i7 3770k is at 30 at idle.
Comment:
This is a good cooler overall. My i7 3770k is around 30C at idle/low load. I have not yet stressed the machine enough to see temperature past 45C on daily uses.Nitpicks #1: cooling block is so big that there is very little clearance after installation on ASUS sabertooth Z77 in my NZXT Phantom full tower case (the block almost touches the side panel and about two fingers worth of space between it and the top case fan)Nitpicks #2: the fan noise is noticeable (but not disruptively loud) without using the included ultra low noise adapter. With the adapter the fans are noticeable when starting up, and almost silent after 20 seconds or so.

Comment:
This issue is excellent. It moves a ton of air, it is very quiet, and it is of a very high quality. Noctua is an unbelievable manufacturer, even when taking the item out of the box and seeking at the pieces you get a feeling that they actually make a high quality product (similar to opening a Corsair Pro PSU). It's not genuinely a con, but it's Massive (which I wanted), and this makes it a bit annoying to install. The spring loaded screws can be troublesome, but in reality they are good since you can't lose the screw or drop it! I truly enjoyed this product SO A lot that I went and ordered Noctua fans to replace every single single fan in my case. It is now whisper quiet, and I can barely hear it when I sit right next to it. My case temps are also Under no circumstances than five* within ambient temp range.I await a 200mm fan from Noctua to replace my other larger fans (thought I don't know how likely this is), but if I ever want fans for a computer system Noctua would be my option. They are much more pricey than the majority of fans, but for somebody who likes their Computer incredibly quiet but nevertheless desires to more than clock and preserve almost everything as cool as achievable they are the best choice for me.

Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler
Cons:This thing is large. Very large. Beware if you have RAM with heatsinks that extend more than a couple mm above their boards, as they may not fit underneath this cooler's heatsink. Expect it to occlude four of the eight memory slots on a typical LGA 2011 board.

Pros:This cooler does the best job of all the air coolers I have ever used while managing to remain incredibly quiet.
Comment:
In the event you need a LGA 2011 mounting bracket Noctua are happy to ship one to you. Just look for its part number, NM-I2011, on their website and fill out the form the page links to.

Fairly great air cooler, its big but fits in my mid sized case Lian-Li 7FN I believed I'd see dramatic gains over a corsiar H50, but I didn't, tried numerous diverse orientations of the cooler but nothing at all seriously gave me a large boost in cooling I was hoping for. Ambient 21C Idle 40C Full Load 75C, not the coolers fault I'm pretty confident Its fantastic, but I feel, since of my case, I just don't get the airflow to seriously make this cooler shine.

OK So I have under no circumstances observed my system go more than 45 deg C on air cooling. Def pro. I was making use of an old school Zalman 9500 from an old Am2 board and was just a couple of degrees higher. Cost per performance, ripoff. Size (gigantic) per overall performance...ripoff. This factor takes up half my complete atx board. Go Zalman or go residence. Will be selling soon. Its wonderful that there are nonetheless individuals out there that have no notion what they are doing.

This CPU cooling block and fan combo is good. It keeps my i7 860 operating good and cool. Not a real con, but it is huge. If you don't have a larger case or even a good layout on your mobo this fan may possibly not function. Even on my Intel DP55KG board i have to take away the fans to obtain assess to my memory. I also can not see the post codes for the mobo. Excellent fan, keeps CPU good and cool.

Unbeatable cooling: Keeps my i7 2600k overclocked to four.five Ghz below 60 C at full load.Near-silent: Can't hear it at all more than my GPUs/case fans/ambient background noise.Spring clips for the fans are simple to use and hold everything secured.Backplate and mounting system are uncomplicated to use as extended as you aren't an idiot like me. It's huge, but you knew that. Just check their internet site to make confident your motherboard/RAM is compatible.Pricey, but you get what you spend for, which is top rated notch overall performance. So I didn't look close sufficient at the directions and tried to place the mounting brackets on upside down. Right after an hour of cursing, I figured out that I was an idiot, flipped them over and had every little thing installed in no time. This issue performs so nicely, I can no longer recommend CPU only water cooling loops.

Cons:Its Huge...had to remove the Multi Function Fan Bracket from my Cooler Master 830 Stacker Evolution case...

Pros:This is an awesome CPU Cooler...I believe the thermal paste that comes with it actually helps in the difference of temps...I've used many coolers with other thermal pastes and have never came up with temps this low based on Delta temps...I am impressed...
Comment:
Its just an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 O/C s 3 Ghz...1400 FSB...but...it did drop  my temps quite a bit even under 100% for 9.25 hrs according to prime 95...Min 35 Celsius...Max 60 Celsius..

This cooler works great with my stock i5 2500k. Fits nicely into the Antec P280 and is great for a low noise build. I took one of the fans off to use as an intake on my case and the cooling is still superb, 30C idle and 56C max load. Wish Noctua offered different colored fans but it really doesn't matter with great performance like this.

It ultimately stopped turning and nothing is broken so guess it's ok. color, would significantly prefer black fans but I could usually get other fans. i7 2600kArea temp: 20cidle 26-28cload @ four.4ghz 73c maxMoBo: P8P67 ProTIM:Testing out some xigmatek PTI-G4512.
