GARMIN nüvi 265WT 4.3" GPS with FM Live traffic

I recieved this Nuvi 265WT GPS as a Christmas gift and used it for a 300 mile trip over the Holidays and it worked fantastic! Our whole family loved the nice directions provided and features were easy to use. The 3D map looks great and I am very satisfied with the device and easy mount to windshield (suction mount is good). I have yet to load updated maps, but will try soon. Thank you and Garmin for a great GPS device.

Just went to Chicago to see a football game and took us directly to the exact location of the train we took directly to soldier field about 30 miles out.Was flawless in its capability and accuracy.I would recommend this product to anyone that was looking for this kind of product. Its also easy to figure out how to use. I didn't even have to look at the instructions.

Had a Nuvi 350 & liked it very much. This unit is suffcently better to justify the upgrade. The wider screen makes for easier viewing. Particlarly like the ''current location'' feature for use in an emergency. The traffic access seems a good idea but have yet to need it (just lucky I guess).

Could not of asked for a better GPS unit for the money, First time i used this 265WT unit it brought me right to the address i programed in with no problems what so ever, This is the first GPS unit that i have owned and would buy again for sure. Totally HAPPY.

This unit exceeded my expectations. It is easy to use and very quick to update directions as you drive. The avoid traffic worked very well in Washington, DC. Now my wife doesn't have to call me when she gets lost. The wife is happy so life is good.

I bought this unit as a gift for my dad to replace his older Garmin. This GPS is smaller with a bigger screen, very clear text and graphics, and the verbal street names is a great feature. Haven't seen how the traffic works yet, but very pleased and this site had the best price on web for this unit.

Understanding full well that no Gps can keep up to date with all the changes in one towns streets, let alone all the streets in North America, this is a magnificent unit, and Garmin should be very proud of what they have produced.

I am not sure that I have figured out all of the features, but it has performed 95% so far.Has a glitch after upgrading with a local road that does not show up, and made one navigation error on a recent long trip but that is likely due to recent construction

I do not like how this navigates the traffic as well as I do my Navigon. I also do not like that it does not tell you how many miles left on the trip just the time of arrival. Other than that at least you can get map updates from Garmin easier than you can Navigon. Good product great price.

Bought this as a gift (similar to the one I have). They are having a ball with it and it's added a bit of safety to their driving as the hands free phone feature keeps them from fumbling with their phone. The only problem I've heard from them is the maps are not as up to date as they would have thought. I had the same issue with mine.

I bought 2 of these after buying one for myself. I have 2 sons-21 and 16. This was the perfect Christmas gift-it was their favorite!! I would definatly recommend this item especially after using it while on vacation in Florida!

I got this on sale, so the price was great. It recalculates quickly and is more accurate than any GPS I have had before; the arrival ETAs are usually correct within five minutes. It would be nice to have a bigger Touch Screen and a zipcode entry feature. What is really great is that I can enter the Latitude Longitude. Comes in real handy for work. I repair remote satellite systems and it gets me there without any address. The

My husband and I have been wanting to buy this product sometime ago, but we could not afford it or so we thought! With a GPS, our travels are more enjoyable and peaceful, I so wish we had bought one a long time ago. This particular model is very reliable.

I bought one for my wife in August and was so impressed with it, I purchased another for myself. I have since bought two more for my parents for Christmas. Excellent value and loaded with features. The bluetooth feature is nice to have but the speaker leaves a little to be desired. I have seen since that the new models provide lane guidence. This would be helpful and would I consider it if I were to do it again.

It is quite good on flat terrain, but can't figure out elevation changes. It wants to send me up and down and way out of the way in the mountains. This is a bit of a problem since I live at 2500m elevation and 8 km past the last paved road.

The Garmin line has great features and holds up well. I am replacing an original Nuvi that I've had for years and this one is even better. Not the cheapest on the lot, but it is the best. I didn't need some of the bells and whistles other pricier models have, so I was glad to get a good deal on this one!

This is the best gps for your money. Has all the features you need to include the blue tooth. The blue tooth is simply the best for hand free-talking while you're driving. You can't go wrong.

While I have gotten where I needed to go, the routing has been less than straighforward. I have been routed onto dirt, deeply rutted roads where a paved road existed nearby and much closer to the address. Also got routed to an indriect route when straight ahead would have taken me right where I needed to go. So.....you might want to mapquest or google map additional directions if possible. Quality is good, verbal directions clear.

I bough this GPS because it had mainly BlueTooth, Traffic and ability to say street names. Bluetooth works great. No problems connecting to my Blackberry Curve, can view my Phone address book and call logs on the GPS. Did not try the traffic yet, but I have heard it works where the FM traffic information is available. GPS wise, it is a good unit, has faster route calculation and quicker in terms of finding satellites. As far as the cons are concerned, the battery does not seem to last for more than 2 hrs if using Bluetooth. Sometimes, the Address book and call logs cannot be viewEd from the GPS.

Gift for son. Great value. Bluetooth and FM traffic work well in NYC area. Interface is friendly, screen is easy to see and read. His old Streetpilot 2610 is getting dated. The Nuvi 265WT is a major upgrade. It has all basic and important GPS features. We've owned three earlier Garmin GPS and all have been solid performers. Highly recommended.

I bought this for my Dad for xmas. Its great with the large screen and the voice prompts for upcoming streets. The screen is clear and the directions are timely for the most part, but like any GPS use your instincts when you can as GPS is not infallible. My only wish is better mounting system included as I find suction cup setups don't always last and can be awkward. Otherwise a great product and great price!
