GARMIN nüvi 265WT 4.3" GPS with FM Live traffic

I neededn't have all the bells and whistles but a good functioning GPS but one that gave me a tad more than basic. Worked out great! Easy to use. Garmin did it good!

I was hoping to use this gps on my recent trip to San Francisco. Was disappointed that it was not able to work. It kept trying to find my coordinates. Was useless. Works fine in Canada (or should I say Toronto) where I live. Anyone have any advice? I may return it.

Pros of this unit is great. Bluetooth was easy to setup, and it updates your direction quickly if you miss a turn, and direction with street names help a ton. I will recommend this to anyone that's tired of getting lost and missing a turn here and there. Cons, No battery to wall charger, and the battery will drained fast if you don't turn down the brightness.

This product does what it claims, however it is limited by the underlying maps. I purchased this to replace a Garmin I2, due to outdated maps and new features. In comparison this unit takes longer to startup then the I2 however it does lock on to satelites faster. Due to map issues it tries to route across non existent roads, and uses incorrect road names for others. The POI DB is sporadic, and will not necessarily tell you of all gas stations in an area for example, it seems to pick a direction it thinks you are going and gives only those, not all that are the same distance from where you are at. Blue tooth connects to my Samsung cell phone sporadically and when connected recieves calls. All in all this is a good value considering the feature list versus price. Underlying maps come from only a couple of sources so all issues related to those are common to all.

I bought this as a gift for my dad. He did the research, told me what he wanted. As he is less than skilled with gadets like cellphones or GPS units I was skeptical about the choice, but got it for him anyway. Not sure if I am more impressed with the unit or his ability to research. This unit really is a good one. Easy to set up and use, it has all of the features I wish my GPS had. Nice work Garvin, Tiger, and Dad!

I purchased this product to replace a Garmin Quest and I really like the 4.3inch display. Hard to find specific addresses. Need more time to learn all the other features.

I purchased this unit for my parents who are seniors. They were able to get it up and running easily and have no trouble using it. The wide screen is nice for them also. The only complaint they have is that it does not have a compass showing the direction you are traveling.

This is a great product, easy to use and a great value. Only negative is the Bluetooth sound quality, it picks up a lot of road noise and people getting the call can not hear well.

Before purchasing this unit, I used to pay 9.00 a day to Hertz for NeverLost. I have used it several times now and I LOVE IT!! Best value I've seen so far.

This product performed flawlessly on a trip from Virginia to Chicago and back. The traffic reports were helpful and accurate, and the hands-off, bluetooth phone operation is loud and clear for both parties when operated in traffic at expressway speeds. There are so many features and so little time to explore them. We just love the product!

Bought for Christmas gift and took on our first trip over New Years. Worked great, only thing is our LG bluetooth phone isn't compatible with the Garmin 265WT. Hopefully it will be soon, as that was my main reason for picking this model.

I purchased this unit because of all the features, 4.3 inch screen,touch screen, text to speech with advance notification prior to upcoming direction changes, and the bluetooth feature to be able to send and receive cell phone calls by linking your cell to the unit if your cell has the bluetooth feature.

used the product to go from NY to ME, Fl, CA and MT. Alittle Quarky you have to think like a dumb machine to under stand it. If your already good with maps its great. the only down side is its not up dated to changes to hotels moving or changing names or resteraunts closing or changing names. but its very helpful

I bought this before xmas to travel to Wisc it was exactly where i wanted to be and some LOCALLY but when I got on the interstate it was another story I would look for a restaurant on my route and it would give me the closet restaurant based upon my position which more times than not was in the wrong direction that I was headed in I was coming from FL and heading north and it would take me south or west way off my route I looked for an Arbys in Elizabeth KY for over fifteen mins off the beaten path When I got my directions to get back on track I noticed that I passed an Arbys on the way back to the interstate was I ticked. I also got off early am at us steel in gary indiana because it could not follow the interstate quagmire that is there How simple it would have been if I had not relied on this as my sole means of navigation But I love it for what it does..what I do not like is that it is not perfect yet

I like everything about the GPS except the text-to- speech is very robotic and not natural sounding. You can download other voices but most aren't that great and none are text-to-speech, so you don't get the name of the streets articulated. Also, the MSN Service component will be canceled by Microsoft so don't expect to use it for too much longer.

The unit worked right out of the box. Locked onto the satellites really fast in the house! We went to an address out of town with no hiccups at all.

I bought this for my Son for Christmas. The price was AMAZING, a lot less expensive than it is now. I borrowed his GPS for a recent trip. I had never used one before, and I basically plugged it in, typed in my destination and it was smooth sailing! I loved it so much that requested one for my birthday:)

it's a amazing GPS. Really good for the price you pay. will be hard to find better for that price. easy to use with is nice 4.3 inch screen. don't worry it will do the job.
