No traffic update broadcast in my area, check on this before purchasing if this feature is important to you. Otherwise the unit works fairly well, 1 map update in first 60 days after the unit acquires satellites.

It was easy to setup. I also used the maps upgrade for 2010 and it has been even more informative. The maps upgrade was a one stop plug in deal to your computer. Other than that it doesn't need to be updated by being connected to a computer it's all in there. I'm so glad technology had made this device what it is today. GPS's are the best things to vehicles since cruise control and radios.

I never owned a GPS but I bought this because a friend recommended it. It's really simple to use and my non technical wife can use it. The screen is easy to follow and the voice commands are timely and accurate. Price was good too.

Would prefer volume dial on side, rather than on screen. Has taken me down roads for 10-15 miles, then turned me around and put me back onto the same highway. Don't trust ANY GPS system!! Follow your instincts. THEY WILL TAKE YOU DOWN ROADS THAT YOU SHOULDN'T BE ON!

This thing rocks! Easy and good hook up with phone. Great directions and traffic info. The only not great thing to say (thus the 4 in performance) is that I have had some cities the map found one or two streets that were one way and asked me to turn against traffic. Other than that, it recalculates and is good to go.

This makes the third one I've bought of this model. Got this one for my mom. Four in the family total. Everyone loves it. Big Garmin fans, have had great luck with their products. Price was great too on TD. Traffic feature has saved me several times!!!! Works like a champ!!

Bought this model for my mother for Christmas and haven't been disappointed. The unit works quite well. We tested it the next day going to a destination we had never been to before and it worked like a charm. The only problem with these units these days are the price. Especially if you have a smartphone with GPS capabilities and buy an app for it. Try and get this on sale if you can.

I bought this for my wife because she is always calling me for directions and she just love's it, it is simple and easy to use and understand. It doe's take a while to upload the new maps but is well worth the money. It also costs less then Best Buy. Great product out of the box.

I have been a big fan of Garmin. This must be my 4th or 5th GPS that I have purchased. I purchased the one with the FM traffic tuner (265WT)and boy was it worth it. If you are in the market for a GPS with the price tag of $120-170 this is the one for you. I have recommended this item to my GF and she has picked one up as well. It may not have voice activated

Excellent graphics, good screen size, and great ancillary features. Ran this puppy in a rental car that was equipped with a Magellan unit, and we found it to be a little more responsive when detecting route deviations and have to recalculate. Set up is a 'no brainer'that and customization is intuitive. I use more as an on board 'Yellow Pages' than for directions.

GPS itself is very accurate, my old one didn't show the directions of the streets, but this one does. Also it knows which lights have no turn left signs and guides you trough different streets. It is well put together. Bluetooth is pretty much useless, used it a couple of times but everyone complained that they couldnt hear me, also very laggy when receiving a call, sometimes locks up and you have to restart so dont use the GPS. If you live in NYC (that's where I use it) or any other big city, the live traffic update is awesome. I am not so mad now that I know how long on average the traffic is going to delay me. Would I recommend this GPS to anyone? The answer is YES!

I love my Nuvi 265WT GPS. It's the best thing since sliced bread. Knows exactly where you are at all times, gives directions in a clear voice so you understand. Tells you before you pass the street that it's coming up in so many yards, etc. Even tells you how much of a delay there will be with traffic. I'm so glad I waited to buy a GPS and ended up with the best one ever made. It also Bluetooth connects automatically to my phone with speaker so I can drive handsfree. It also helped me find a bank when I was in an unfamiliar area. It's like having a personal assistant. I love it!!!

I checked around before purchasing. It was the best price that I could find. Shipping was free and I received the unit within 3 days after ordering it. I wasn't pleased with the packaging it came in. The box was way too big for the unit and it was only wrapped with one sheet of brown paper causing the product to slide around in the box. Thank goodness it wasn't damaged. I'm very pleased with it's performance so far. I haven't tried out all it's features yet but practice makes perfect I guess. It worked great right out of the box and the free

Simplicity and ease of use are definitely a plus. Free lifetime traffic contributes to added value. Maps have too many flaws, it has lead me to weird places when following the built in POI's. What I specially liked is indication that your destination is on right or left. Over all a good buy.

My wife and children bought me one for Father's Day. I liked it so much I bought one for my youngest daughter for her birhday and then another one for my oldest daughter and her husband. My only complaint is that after I bought the last one a few days later you you had it on sale for almost $40 less. No complaints though.

Just casting my vote: this is a superb product that delivers. The only negative comment I would have is that it takes greater touch pressure to interface with the screen than my older 200 model. I overcame that by touching with my fingernail rather than my fingertips. Small matter, really. I would happily buy this product again.

It pairs fine with my LG phone but when trying to make or receive calls it locks up the GPS. I called Garmin and there are only a few phone supported for bluetooth. Great GPS but if you want to use bluetooth check the Garmin site first.

I've been looking to upgrade for a while. Did quite a bit of research on other brands but ended up back with this brand because of overall quality and performance. This one does not disappoint. Clear display, good volume, user-friendly interface. Short loading and searching times. The mount is pretty solid. I picked up a dashboard mount and the suction cup mount the unit came with works great with it. The free, lifetime traffic updates feature is great. All navigation devices should have this. One thing I found out that wasn't clear from the user guide was that the traffic receiver is built into the car charger. For a few days, I was using the unit on battery only and noticed that the traffic icon didn't appear at all. Then, I decided to plug it back in and traffic updates returned. Minor inconvenience really. Blue tooth worked okay. It paired pretty easily with my cellphone. People I called said I sounded a little far away but volume was decent.
