Overall good product. Only cons I found: 1-takes very long to find points of interests when you spell the name (often never find them) 2-Often prefers to guide you via street ways even you know from experience that highways are better for that destination

I purchased this unit to replace a Garmin nuvi 660 which I had also purchased refurbished and had problems with it. I sent it to Garmin to be refurbished again. and they were terrific with their customer service but was going to take awhile to have it returned. Since this was a gift I needed to replace it very soon. I miss having the audio player. The only reason for not rating it a 5 is that the speaker is not as loud as the 660 and I have had some problems with the glare. However, it is loud enough with the radio off, to be able to listen to the directions which are flawless as long as the place exists correctly, which were directions to a Drs office on Cape Cod that directed me to a residence home, and the owner told me that she has frequent visitors from people with all GPS units, which was confirmed, when I arrived late for my appointment.

This is evrything that Garmin says that it is and more. It has exceeded my expectation.

This product works well and is relatively easy to set up. The only problm I had with the product was that the sound was really not loud enough to be heard over a large truck's roar.

Caught this on sale plus free ship and BCB, great deal for a lifetime traffic GPS. Best value on the market, IMO. Has all the features you want, none of the fluff, for a reasonable price.

This is my first portable GPS. I've used it for about a month and seems to work as advertised. Not always the fastest route but if you're not familar with an area it'll get you there with a reasonable route.

THis is my first car GPS, I've had a Garmin E-track for about 4 years for hiking and finally decided to get one for the car. It worked wonderful and hope the detour program works well as that is one of the reasons I bought it.

This is a great little addition to the car. I have only had to use it a few times so far but it is really easy to use and handy. Only thing I would like is maybe some sound effects while driving, actually no it is good like this. I like that I can pick the voice recognition but beware if you choice the English ones - the British use some words that we would not in Canada for things like veer, or on-ramp. Highly recommend for a driving trip.

This is my first, so I don't have experience with other units, but I shopped very carefully and it has everything I was looking for in a GPS. And, at a great price - bought on sale. Set up pretty easily right out of the box. A couple things to note. The unit only does traffic alerts when it is plugged into the power source, and when using the bluetooth for a phone call the voice directions stop (You could miss a turn if not paying attention.) but I should have known that. First time I used it as a test run, the preloaded POI is missing our main Post Office. Used it for a 1200 mile trip, no problem.

I love this unit, bought 6 in total for myself and friends. It's very rare to have all the features that I considered important in one package, even in high end models. This one has everything that I needed: TTS with streetnames, Customized POI, Bluetooth and lifetime traffic support (not MSN Direct trial, I hate trials). On top of that, it is a Garmin.

I purchased this at a great price. This is the third Garmin that we have purchased. So far, this one has worked as expected. I donwloaded the latest firmware and the latest map update. It now has the same current update as my other units. The only drawback is that I will have to pay now for future updates. As stated, it has been working well and was a great deal for the money.

I got this GPS because I was very excited about the features. The voice is annoying, it doesn't display speed limits except for on the highway and the map it comes with for Canada is very very basic!! You have to pay an additional $100 for a download of a map with updates. New roads in Toronto do not come with it and for small towns like Penetanguishene, ON the GPS has NO MAPS whatsoever. Do not recommend this model!!

Easy right out of the box setup. I purchased it on sale for $159 which I am very pleased with. Havent used it much but am pleased so far. Have gotten a wrong co-ordinate once but after reading about all the other GPS's, this can be expected. Also purchased the friction mount and THIS I LOVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased the Nuvi 265W WT for my husband for Christmas and he has used it extensively for the past few weeks on short trips we know and for new destinations. He loves All of the features (he would have loved a 'pedestrian mode' so only a 4out of 5 for that) but the value for the money is unsurpassed. He has even downloaded a few extra apps from the Garmin site (special 'voices' for the directions etc) and enjoys using it. Shipping from here was super quick and easy to track. All in all, very impressed and pleased with the product .

Got it on sale so basically happy. Great for shorter routes, best to break down longer trips into sections. Maps not the best for Eastern Canada. Perfect for finding a street address in a City. Bluetooth reception is excellent however person on other end gets too much echo to understand me, so not much use. When considering the sale price versus the features that work well, I am basically satisfied.
