WRT 160N
Comment:
Great product. Updated the firmware which added all new functions to the router. Had problems bridging with a non-linksys router. It was a hit and miss.

I purchased another brand router for $120.00 6 months ago,I had nthing but problems that no one was able to resolve, I was very skeptick to purchase a refurbish router,in fact I bought one and returned it. Then a month later I purchased one,set up was a breeze, performance excellant, I am very, very pleased.

Good Buy
Comment:
I got this for my girlfriend so she could share her internet connection with a neighbor. The range on this was what I was really looking for. This does a great job at getting the signal out there.

Great product at low price
Comment:
Works great. I bought one as a Christmas gift along with a laptop, configured it and tested it for a week. liked it so well I bought another one for myself. Range is very impressive. Did not bother with the software, just used the web interface to configure encryption and so on. Web interface is very straight forward and easy to use. Very good product for the money. Using it with XP, Windows 7 and Ubuntu Linux.

Fantastic for the price
Comment:
I bought this router to install dd-wrt on. The procedure was fast and simple. Linksys does a fantastic job of putting out routers that can have custom firmware installed on them. All of the features work great. And I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try out dd-wrt.

Great product especially for the price! Wasn't as plug-n-play friendly as I was led to believe. Go to You Tube to find a better install solution than the directions in the box.

I couldn't get it to work
Comment:
I purchase to attach to cable modem, in order to create better wireless connections. I could not get it to work and it screwed up the existing system. After removing the existing system worked again. It could be me, but I couldn't get it to work.

Best Router I've Ever Had!!!
Comment:
This router is great, I get a much stronger signal than I got with my old Linksys wireless G router, it works with both my wireless G and N devices. The easylink adviser is pretty cool as well it detects and gives me a complete Diagram of everything on my network. It even gives me an option to track an intruder.

Great Buy
Comment:
Bought this after my Buffalo Air Link burnt up. I have yet to notice a lag with the speed but only use it to feed broadband to my Wii right now. Install was quick and flawless with my windows xp media ed. I say great buy as a recertified half price.

Works awesome! (After a hard reset every 1-2 days)
Comment:
I do not use this as a router. I just use as an access point. I purchased this to replace a another wifi N router that I was using as an access point. I have moved that old wifi N to use as my actual router and this WRT160N as my AP. The price and performance for this product is excellent. However, there has to be a trade-off; I have to reset this WRT160N every 1 to 2 days. I reset the WRT160N as per the recommendations on the manufactures site (CiscSys or LinkSco?): Hold reset button for 30 seconds, then pull the power for 30 seconds. The firmware appeared to be the latest, but I flashed again anyways because the subversion isn't shown. I am highly interested in exchanging, but I have to go through the hassle of contacting manufacturer and they have to deem it incurable in order to return to TigerDirect. But what can I say? Its always a throw of the dice on refurb items.

works but it is SLOW

got it to replace a Belkin Pre-N router. The Pre-N download speed to my laptop was 1200 kbs. This routers speed was 300 kps. It is just downright slow, which is why i suspect there are so many refurbs

Very Satisfied
Comment:
Bought this to provide more range and wireless N for laptop around the home. Refurbished unit works great. Does everything I need. Easy setup but has advanced capabilities for the more knowledgeable user. Highly recommended. Make sure your ISP can keep up and isn't throttling you before complaining about performance.

Rocks my Wireless N world!
Comment:
I've always wanted Wireless N, since I first heard about it. Streaming video across network ... awesome! I got this and paired it with an equally inexpensive Netgear Wireless-N card and it fast and solid. Dropped connection twice, but it can stream uncompressed ripped DVDs over wireless now.

Item came quickly, looked new. Could not get it to work with my sysytem. Put in Verizon FIOS package, their Wi-Fi works perfect with all my computers. Can't return item, anybody want it before I throw it out?
