First I'm not technical and this is my first router. It setup easy and works great with my laptop. The only thing is, my desktop seems to drop out every once in a while. No problems at all with laptop. But overall works like it says it does. Very satisfied.

I just got this tonight and at first i didn't realized i ordered a refurb but nonethless i tried it anyway... pleasentaly surprised. network speeds are top notch... all in all great buy!

A great deal and worth the money. Setup was a bit more complicated than I expected, mainly because it didn't come with a paper manual which I find silly. How to use a manual on the net if you can't connect? I did get everything figured out though and it works well. Like the internal antenna also. I can't quite get the full 300 mbps but this may be something with my ISP or computer so I won't hold it against the router until I've learned more. For a casual user you really can't beat this price so I highly recommend this product.

With my previous router, most of the time my response was low. Now it is always excellent, even though this unit requires no external antenna.

Installed very easily, but the software defaults for security cause one of my laptops not to connect. Had to drop back to WPA from WPA2. Also the software was filling my Linux server log full of /HNAP1 not found messages. Uninstalled the software and everything is fine again. Replaced a Linksys WRT54G with this one and just manually used the setting from it to configure the WRT160N.

I've bought this product for a friend of mine. She had one of the latest computers on the market and it supports wireless n. I was able to connect her two computers, one was wireless and one was a wired connection. I then tried to connect my wireless g laptop to their network. I had all the passwords necessary to make the connection and spent about 5 hours trying to configure the connection. I was unsuccessful! My friend is able to use her computer with this setup because she has wireless n capability on her wireless laptop. This product is supposedly backwards compatable with wireless g products! What happens when her relatives come over to visit and want to use the internet connection with wireless G! There may be some Einstein out there that can make the G to N connection. I could not. Backwards compatability should be easy. I have made many wireless connections with backward compatabily products. This one has me stumped!

Have bought recertified/refurbished products from this retailer for years, and have no qualms about doing so. Never had a problem, they always look like new and perform as they should. This router is no exception, followed the simple instructions and was up and running in no time! Great job!

Since this item was refurnished, I was expecting minor cosmetic scraches and low to average performance. I was surprised of how good the item looked and how easy the installation was. Furthermore, the router has performed so well that now my wireless-computer is internet faster than the cable one.

I've tried the G and N versions. I've used it with it's own brand of adapter and two others brands. The signal will not even stay connected at 10 feet line of site, no walls, just air. I ended up running a cable instead. This product is a waste of money.

This is my third in line of Linksys routers and it is as usual, easy to set up and dependable. One disappointing aspect is the range of signal. I upgraded from a G to this N to improve my signal range, but I found no difference. I still have to use a Linksys Range Extender to get the signal to a room with laptop two rooms away on same floor. Other than this, unit works as advertised and I have experience no drop outs or loss of signal. Would buy it again.

This router has been working great for the last 3 months, this is more than likely becuase Linksys has refurbished this items (not tiger direct). Linksys is a great brand which I've used for for the last 8 years.

Very easy to set up. Works great so far. After I installed and setup the router I updated the firmware from the linksys site with the latest version. Overall great product, and order processing and delivery was quick.

Never purchased a refurbished product before but was pleasantly surprised. It arrived flawless. Couldn't tell from new. Was replacing an old Linksys that had very limited range in my two story house. Was a little disappointed with this one but the range is a little better. Might try relocating for better signal downstairs. Still an excellent value and would definitely recommend. As far as refurbished, don't worry about it.

Worked first time, right out of the box. Setup was incredibly easy. My Nokia 810 is purring away on this wireless signal, very fast. Tried a D-Link before this, had setup trouble and no tech help to speak of. I guess Cisco knows what they are doing.

Great looking router and very easy to set up. I have installed a lot of routers with some degree of difficulty but, this one almost installed itself. I have the router on the second floor of the house and run my laptop on the patio and have not experienced any problems. Very fast and dependable.

Although its G range is found wanting, it seems to be very quick - even when you only have 2 bars. Other than that...it is a typically high quality Linksys product. I would expect nothing less.

I found this router so much easier to set up than my old one. It practically did it all for me. It's much faster and I've had no connection problems either upstairs or down since I installed it. It was exactly what I needed.

Right out of the box connected to modem and worked, but the CD that came with it didn't work on my computer sense I'm running windows vista 64bit. Had to go to the linksys website to follow the instructions on how to setup manually for a secured wireless protection. Overall great product for a wireless router and setting up a home network. Would recommend to anyone that needed a router, and only had this amount to spend.

The installation software that comes with this unit only works on PC's. There is Mac software available on Linksys website but expect to search for it. Also when first installed, the router was quite slow and frequently lost connection. After making a few changes to the settings, I now have it operating at a good speed and I'm very happy with the unit. As for being recertified, I have no problems and will likely continue buying recertified products.
