Re-certified my ass. I'm guessing they plug it in for 5 seconds, see if they can connect, then put a sticker on it. It worked for about an hour, intermittently dropping signal, and I had to manually refresh the connection on my pc, also causing me to be kicked from my current online activities. No longer works at all. Starting RMA process.... Now.

The set-up was very easy and it only took about 15 minutes. I was also able to set-up my wireless printer without any major issues.

I also purchased the linksys receiver for my daughter's computer. The automatic configuration would not work. After numerous attempts I configured everything manually and it worked without a hitch. It is very fast and I have coverage throughout my home and yard. Three different Operating systems, a Blackberry and an Ipod all connect with no problem. There is no noticible decrease in speed even with everything connected at the same time. A very good router.

Was working wireless in about 10-15 minutes. No problems. Just use the cd first and you should'nt have trouble. Great range.

Got this a few weeks ago started out fine Now, about every hour it locks up everything I have to refresh every time and this is getting to be a pain in the butt May return it ASAP Not too happy with this Wireless Router Refurbished or not

I bought this router to replace my old Linksys router I have had for several years. I always had some dead spots around the house. I was hopping this would solve this problem and it did. My laptop works great everywhere in the house and on the patio. The N router is so much faster than G router I used to have. Very easy setup.

I bought this router, as an upgrade for my old wireless G router, a month or so ago. Installed the software; now running 3 laptops, my PS3, XBox 360, printer and a couple of other devices. I have not had any problems with this product what so ever since I have owned it. The software makes it very easy to set up your network, including the security, and even tells you if someone else is trying to log into it. The range on this is awesome as well ... I can take my laptop out to my back yard and have no problem with lag at all. It also works great for streaming video over my XBox 360 via NetFlix in HD, and when it comes to downloading wirelessly, this this is lightning fast. I would have to say that this is BY FAR the best value in a router that I have seen in a long time.

My son purchased this for me and we had it setup in about a hour. It works great, I have three computers hooked up. One desktop and two laptops. So far I have not had any problems. Not to bad for my first one.

I bought my wife a laptop and needed an easy way for her to get Internet access. My computer is wired to our DSL Modem. I hooked up the Linksys router to the Modem and the laptop detected it without problems. No setup problems that I can recall.

This router works great. The older models is why I went with another company for my previous router choice. I went with this router this time and they have done it right with this model. I like the wired management software available from installation CD. The setup is easy unlike other products with funky named menus and hard to setup. I was up and running in about 5 minutes. The hardest part was typing out the long pass key to lock down the wireless. I like to make them cryptic.

This was my very first purchase of a router and didn't know much until i started asking questions and came up with this choice. GREAT BUY!!! Couldn't be better for home setting

This is my first wireless router, so I called tech support as soon as I got home. The guy must've been new because he couldn't give me a straight answer and had to put me on hold several times. While on hold again, I started to run the set-up myself. The call magically dropped and I was hung-up on. I proceeded to finish the install myself, and it was a breeze. I was up and running within a few minutes. It was really easy. So far , so great. I'm online without the wires, and the speed doesn't seem to be an issue so far. I recommend this N router as a great buy, and easy set-up.

We've been using this for a month or two now, and it seems better than our previous routers in the two areas that mattered to us most - range and uptime. We have had 3 or 4 Netgear routers prior to this and had tons of issues where they drop all the time and eventually the router locks up and it won't respond even from a wired connection. So far, this router has been up and functional for 2 months with no issues (and I can even get in range from outside the house). Overall really good buy for the money.

Cisco makes the best routers and this is a great example. Hooked the thing up and it worked right out of the box. I am running two wired computers, a skype router, a wireless G laptop and a wireless G netbook on my home network. No problems! Setting up the security was easy, except that it didn't like Safari--had to use IE Explorer...go figure. I can't wait to get my wireless N laptop! The range is significantly better than my old D-link wireless G router. I know computers and this thing is quality...BUY IT!

The only way I can tell you how well something works is if I get it to work in the first place. It told me to check with my IP provider. Poppycock! I have a wireless G router that works with my IP provider, why won't this one? This thing might work very well if I had time to spend an hour on the phone with tech. support. If you've done that before you know how fun it is. I'd rather stick with wireless G than spend an hour on the phone to (maybe) get the wireless G to work. If the only way I can get your product to work is to call and wait for tech support to pick up then I don't want your product.

The Wireless portion works well with my latop and has good range. The R45 plugins for desktop was another story. I had a hard time connecting to anything even after I got online. I ended up reconnecting my old router and connecting the Linksys through that so I could Get online with My desktops. I still have good wireless for my laptop. For me this was not as advertised. I thought that I could connect ALL of my computers with it but it turns out it is only good for wireless connection.

I purchesed the WRT160n to use my wireless option on my i-pod it seams to work fine for this application.
