Exxcellent product
Comment:
I did have a problem following directions and it didn't work (hook cable from router to CPU). Then reasoned that my old router did't hook to cpu, because it worked wireless, Hooked up same as with old roter, Plug in power and WOW all came up and was set to go to set up the rest of my in home wireless net.

Linksys WRT160N Ultra Rangeplus 4 Port Wireless N MIMO Broadband Router
Cons:None

Pros:- Wireless N- Easy to setup
Comment:
Wireless N increases signal and transfer speed. If you are looking to try out the faster wireless standard, this is a good entry level router.

Great for a refurbished N-router
Comment:
Unfortunately it did not come with a manual. Being a computer technician I did not need it but for someone else they would not be able to set it up. Worked just fine as soon as I plugged it in... B1L

Great value
Comment:
Arrived very quickly and was easy to install (simply follow the directions). Notice a great deal of speed difference in file sharing between computers in the home network (upgraded from Linksys 54g router). Overall very happy.

You get what you pay for
Comment:
I was excited to get such a great router so cheap when i first got. However after a couple of weeks the wireless network connections are unavalable. You have to reset constantly to get it to work. If i knew that I would have spent the extra money on new one. Now I'm stuck with a defective product that I can not return. LAME!

Great value and performance
Comment:
I bought this item refurbished and am very happy. The set up did not go well at all which may be why this one was returned. Auto set up did not work. I am a network tech so it was no big deal to set it up manually and then it worked fine. This is why I only rated features and quality as 4. Since set up it has worked fast and flawlessly.

All show, no go!
Comment:
Great looking router but the performance is horrible. Access times using a cable modem were as bad as dial-up. Finally removed the Linksys and replaced it with my old USR Robotics 5461. If you want a good looking router to sit on a shelf, get the Linksys. However, if you want to use a router, get something else.

Outstanding speed!
Comment:
I purchased this Wireless router for my mother and was tempted to switch it for my router. This router allows greater distance and speed when surfing, gaming or streaming. The only feature it needs is a print port.

Great router
Comment:
Easy setup. Router works very reliably. I did have to power cycle the router after all my computers were added because it performed slowly at first. Haven't had any problems since.

Wireless Router Works as Described
Comment:
I ordered this router to replace a Linksys that I had for about 5 years and was failing. Installation was a snap and this router works throughout my 2-story home and on the patio...I love it!

Using it as an Access Point
Comment:
Bought it because my old wireless G access point could not handle a blackberry and vista computer at the same time. I upgraded to this and so far I am happy. Much better range with the wireless N on all my computers (XP and Vista). The blackberry also connects to the WiFi quite fine. Plus I now have 3 wired ports to connect to if I am so inclined. I did not use the router function. Currently using only the wireless G.

Works Great
Comment:
Router installs very easy with step by step instruction, the easylink advisor is really sweet. This router works with b,g,and n wireless but if you have a g router already and are wanting more speed for your new pc like I did don't make the same mistake I did. I have a g router and chose during install to replace this router instead of adding to it. This router will not give you more than 54mbps on a n wireless if you are making it capable of delivering to the b and g also. So if you have different wireless divices that use b or g keep useing your current router and add the linksys to it. Then change the settings in the advanced settings for the router to only deliver in N wireless. That way your N wireless can run at the faster speeds. I set up all my kids iPods, 4 pc, and voip in the easylink advisor then realized I wasn't getting more than 54 mbps on my new laptop. I had to uninstall this router and reconnect my old then reinstall this one with the add to setup.

Had to return it!!
Comment:
I worked with a laptop with XP and a third with Win 7 and neither one worked. Surmised there was no signal and returned it. I have had two Linksys routers prior and they worked like a charm. I guess I'll spring for the non-refurb unit and see if it works. I can't leave ratings blank here so I had to check all of them worst. I can't rate all since I couldn't get it to work but to submit something had to be checked on the product rating.

Wireless Worthless
Comment:
Apparently does not work well with XP - works to plug in my computers - but will not work wireless - now do i buy a replacement of just a longer ethernet cable - frustrating to spend more money in this ecconomy!!
