BAD ROUTER
Comment:
This is a cheap router. Web interface is ugly but the real problem is the issue with facebook randomly redirecting to other sites. This has been a long outstanding unresolved issue linked to this router. I never had this issue before I purchased this router. Search Google. |

Always Skeptical, but Pleasantly Surprised
Comment:
Was skeptical to buy a refurbished. But had this router for about 2 months. Plugged it in, set up security and hasnt failed once. Would recommend. |

Linksys WRT160N Ultra Rangeplus 4 Port Wireless N MIMO Broadband Router
Cons:

Pros: Sleek Profile, Easy Setup, Great Price, And Great Performance. Comment:
Bought this router to replace my Linksys WRT54G2 Wireless G. This one is working as well I could have wished for. The version I received is version 3. Flashed firmware to DD-WRT for the 160N and it's working flawlessly. (Used GUI firmware update from browser in the Linksys settings. Don't forget to do 30/30/30 resets after update s.) Also sporting great signal strength and able to stream over wireless 1080p M2TS video r 8,321 Kbps with no slowdown or stutter (No transcoding with no compression.). Great router, would highly recommend. |

1-3rd retail price for working hardware
Comment:
I ordered 2 of these for a wireless n wireless bridge network. I loaded them both up with dd-wrt for these v3 units and one happened to not work correctly (intermittent connection loss with stock and after market OS). The other one I love and has been doing great with my wireless n laptop. |

Good Value

Works good, only compliant is the prompt to sign up for a trial membership to the Home Defender. First set-up I signed up, then when I had to log in to reset the security settings it kept telling me the account was registered to someone else ( I think this was because it was refurbished). Finall able to reset router and opt out of the trial membership. |

Never be afraid to buy a recertified router
Comment:
Thankfully people buy these things from retail places, don't know how to hook em up and make them work. Then they take em back with nothing wrong with them. We then get to buy em at a discount and make them work. Only downside is they come in a box with big words Recertified, oh well if that's the worst thing, I'll still but another one when I need one |

Bought this to replace the old x original router. Ordered 2 Apr; arrived 7 Apr. Runs much faster data flow. Easy to set-up with included disk. Wouldn't access the net, but worked after one call to x for a line reset. After numerous orders, all parts and products have been 100% trouble free. |

Good Router

I picked this to upgrade from my old Linksys wireless G router and couldn't be happier. Setup was easy and the range as well as speed are very noticeable from the wireless G. Thank you for excellent prices and good products |

Worried at first. Turned out good
Comment:
I was worried by all the feedback about DOA and not working with more than one connection and Ver2. I got it today and unplugged my WRT54G plugged all the same cables in to this and hooked up the power no install disk works like a champ. mine was a Ver3 so DD-WRT will work. |

Great Value!

I have upgraded from my old Linksys wireless router to this one. I did not use the installation disk that came with the unit, as I as used to the web based setup. I get fantastic speed with both of my laptops wirelessly connected, and with my desktop connected to the hub. I am running Vista on one laptop and desktop, and 7 on the other laptop. I will buy Linksis again! |

Fast shipping, worked quickly
Comment:
Shipped within a few days, everything as described including installation disc although it does not help much. If you have trouble installing, restart your computer and it should start no problem. Also, remember to do all the steps (we forgot about the blue plug which made the process take longer because we had to go back and do that step). Very pleased with the price and it works. |

Excellent router...with DD-WRT
Comment:
I've knocked a complete star off of my score because the firmware that shipped with my router rendered it basically useless - you couldn't have more than one computer connected to the wireless at a time, and even then, you could expect horrible speeds and to be dropped at least once or twice an hour. However, after I flashed with DD-WRT, this thing is a beast - great speeds and great range, I don't have to worry about getting dropped and I don't have to worry about how many machines I have connected simultaneously (within reason, of course). So, if you're willing to flash your router, this is an absolute steal; otherwise... |

Great for DS

We bought this router for a specific task: connecting wirelessly with our two Nintendo DS game systems. Works flawlessly. Easy setup, and if I feel the need to buy a laptop I know the wireless will be a breeze. |

I had a linksys that was about 8 years old, and getting tired. Still worked good so thought I would get another. This one works fine and I have no troubles with it. |
Thought this was a good deal, but the connection is either slow or inconsistent. Also, can't return it, just exchange. No thanks.
