As a wired 4 port router it's good. As a wireless router it's worthless. My fault though; I waited too long before putting it to use so it's too late to return it. Even without no security I still can't connect and with my laptop right next to it, it doesn't see the network half the time. I do have it set to broadcast. I can log in to many networks, but not my own. With no security set on my wireless network, it is pretty secure since it's doesn't work. All my network equipment has been Linksys, but not any longer. I won't be buying anything recertified again and that goes for recertified EVGA motherboards. Don't do as I have done. Don't be slack; open immediately, test, retest and retest. One test isn't enough! I did connect to this router once after many attempts and then never again.

I REALLY LIKE IT I'VE SET IT UP AND IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM. FOR A REFERB ITS GREAT WOULD DEFFINATELY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO NEED A ROUTER FOR A BUDGIT PRICE

I am very disappointed at this product. I have a laptop connected to this but once i walk out the front door i lose reception. my crappy router was better wished i never threw that away.. i would not recommend this to anyone and i know linksys is suppose to be a great product... but maybe i got a bad batch i dont know..

set up went smooth and unit was working in my home in a very short time. Home Network Defender application feature was out of trial period, so fine tuning of network controls has been trial and error.

This was my first wireless router and I have 0 issues with it. Great price for a re-certified product and looked brand new. Great range and no installation issues. Great buy, would recommend to friends.

For the price you really cannot complain too much. But that said, if it claims to be wireless you should have a reasonable expectation that the wireless feature will work the majority of the time. This is my third unit ( currently own )and very frequent restarts to get the wireless back on track. IMO... spend the money for a more solid router. One positive thing though... it has SUPER good range.

I have gone thru several installations on netgear, belkin and linksys routers and this is the first time I was not able to make the DHCP work on automatic or manual configuration. I did reset a number of times and I even tried it on other networks with the same result. I ended up buying a higher end linksys model to be sure. I guess recertified quality is a bit of a hit and miss proposition.

Bought 2. 1 for son in law, he hooked it up in about half hour, He also uses it wirelessly for bluray player. I set other one up for a friend, had a little problem but had it working in about three quaters of hour.

This is a great product and has been working well for over a month with no drop or loss in signal. It works great with all our devices. Just don't be like me and think you can install it without following the directions on the disc. I had so many problems when I tried to do it by myself, but it was easy when I followed the directions.

Wireless can go down sometimes, and it needs to be restarted, but works for what it is I suppose.

I purchased this router to replace a D-Link I had earlier. Everything works great, except that the power cord that cam with the router was bad. I plugged it in and no power. After trying a different power cord it worked. Other than that I think it's a great router and I hope it does the job for me in the future.

I have this working on devices that I think are all wireless G but this works great. I'be had only a few interferences in signal and it didnt last long. Home Defender blocks everything though. (I haven't opted out of the trial yet.)

I had problems setting this up for my Wii. Because I did not follow the set-up guide on the cd.Wrong move--I reset the router and re-install the software,the Wii found my SSID everyone is happy and I got a great router for the price,what more can a guy ask for,also got a new laptop coming in can't wait to try it on my new wireless house.

I purchased 2 of these Routers for family members at 79.99 each retail,both worked flawlessly no complaints,so far 1.5 years later. When I saw these on sale for such a low price I bought two right away,in the past I've purchased Remanufactured products before and found them to be just as good as new if not better as they have been checked over and recertified by the factory techs,so if you want a good router at a low price go for it.

I unboxed this router and set it up with no problem. I followed the directions and it just worked. I did not stress it or ask it to do much, just be a firewall and wireless router. I do use MAC filtering (where the only devices that can connect are the ones you allow by their MAC address). I like that it has WPA2 and that the firmware is revision 3 (I'd heard bad stuff about revision 2). The unit looks new and is certainly inexpensive. Linksys came recommended by our communications guys at work.
