Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter i just use it for giving my computer wifi access. i haven't had any problems with it at all. i cant really say if its good for bit torrent and stuff because i don't use it for that really but for basic web stuff, its was a great buy. Does what i expected it to do, i haven't had any signal problems with it like i have read others write about with similar devices. for the price i paid, it was an excellent value

Good value, no problems

Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router Plugged it in and it works. Router automaticaly updated firmware, no other software needed. Only in use about 1 month now, but no problems. No more dropped IPs and lost connections like my older Deelink had started doing. And, can't beat the price.

Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router Bought two of these. Worked great right out of the box. Easy to configure and packed with features. QOS feature is nice for a router in this price range. Works well in situations where multiple wireless routers are present. Excellent range and security. Highly recommend.

Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter I have only had one problem with this product, but I am using it with a school issued computer and had some problems getting it loaded cause I don't have complete access to all the features on the computer. When I got it loaded it has worked great, and using the usb cord has help to keep the adapter in tact.

Took a chance but it did not work out
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router I took a chance buying a refurbished router but by the third day it was done. At first it worked fine then it started to drop and eventually it got to the point where it got stuck in test mode. I could not get to the admin. page nor could I do a factory reset on it. I was allowed to return it.

All It Was Advertised To Be
Comment:
Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless AdapterWireless Adapter worked as advertised. Factory rebuilt hasn't diminished performance at all. Easy to find and download to software/drivers (using another computer on the network of course), and to load them for plug & play operation.

Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless AdapterFor $10 i couldn't be happier, I could buy the same thing at Best Buy for $50. Annoying that there isn't a CD with software or Drivers or anything that comes with this, but since i could connect with a LAN cable i just got it offline. Installation was kind of a pain on my old Windows XP desktop, had to activate it through the Device Manager, but luckily since i had a LAN cable i just google searched troubleshooting installation and (though it admittedly took a good hour or so) eventually had it up and running. For 10 bucks i can't complain. Works fine now.

Best value for money.
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax RouterI have been looking for a cheap router. I have found this and based on the reviews I went for it. It's almost 15 days now. I have configured it as Wireless Access Point rather than Router. Without restarting it is working. Only thing which is little bit worried for me in the starting is that its setup is not as it is mentioned on the website/downloaded guide. It took me around 30 minutes to figure out the problem. and the funny part is I haven't found the problem and it started working. The problem was that its web interface didn't show up as directed in the manual. However I give this product 5/5 after 15 days of use.

"WORST ITEM EVER BOUGHT HERE"
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax RouterMine was completely a piece of Junk. Booted on once and then everything went dead. Buyers beware!!! Some of these items are completely bad while some are fair when they claim they're refurbished. So, if you're not very lucky, you will be shipped the bad ones. And remember, no returns and so it could be money flushed down the toilet. They're just making money off us with Junks like thses. Saddddddddddddddd indeedddddddd!!!

OK For The Money
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax RouterMy first router worked for 3 weeks and ''died''. It would no longer obtain an IP address and it could not be reset or updated. This retailer had me go to Netgear for support who in turn told me they only support refurbished equipment on a PAID BASIS. The support cost would be more then the cost of a new unit! When I recontacted this retailer hey were surprised at the support I received from Netgear and even though the unit was past the exchange period they made and exception and exchanged the unit. THANKS! The router itself is easy to set up and performs well (when it works) but I didn't see any better performance or signal strength over my other routers.

I was mistaken
Comment:
Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless AdapterI bought this to use with an iMac for my daughter to connect to our wireless network at home. It won't even recognize it when you plug it in. It does work on Windows XP, though. But then my other machines have wireless built in, so what's the need now? And I can't send it back, as it was a "refurb".

You get what you pay for...
Comment:
Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless AdapterI was pleased to find a wireless network card for under $20. I use mine with a tablet PC. What I was not impressed with was the fact that the network card doesn't come with a device driver CD and actually has the nerv to tell you to go online and download the device drivers. The point of the network card is so I can go online -- if I had an online connection why would I have even needed the network card? If your not computer savy -- you way want to consider buying it brand new (with everything in the box).

Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Routerthe item is refurbished, you have to download the software. site has been down since the day i bought it! still have not got the software so i just not do the password thing and plugged it in and it was ready to go. i hope i can get the software soon as i want a secure network. this item is refurbished but worked great out of the box! the range on this is really great and works from anywhere in my 2 story house without fail. the only drawback is not being able to download the software for this devise since it did not come with it because of being a refurbished unit.
