Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless AdapterAfter hopping online, downloading the drivers, following the instructions, and a little kajiggering, I unplugged and surfed wirelessly. I bought this to use in my carputer project since it's so small and all. Setting up my connection was a little difficult, but I beleive all of the fiddling required was due to the fact that I have some security measures on my router, I refuse to share band-width with the neighbors, they can buy their own. At any rate, it works great now that it's set up. It does get a little warm after a while, but seems to continue functioning just fine. Great price on a convenient piece of gear. If I do another build soon enough, I hope they have some left.

Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless AdapterThe WPN111 works well enough. The setup was easy, but it gets very hot and sometimes it fails (due to the heat, I think), but it starts working again in a short time. Considering the price, I have no regrets.

Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax RouterI bought this router, same price, from Tiger roughly 1 year ago today, and it currently offers wireless signals to both our Wii and our laptop, while hard wired are our desktop and X-box 360. The WEP encryption is cake to setup, and it basically works right out of the box. You login to the router and view it's settings just like a webpage, which makes it very easy to manage, and it has lots of resources at it's disposal. We are in an apartment currently running on cable internet, and we can go probably 900 feet in all directions, even when walls separate the router without the slightest loss in signal. Boy am I glad I bought this puppy. So glad, that I ordered one of their recertified PCI adapters for this desktop. Can't wait to try it out. A great product, don't be afraid to save!

This is such a good value (way below retail) and with rangemax it has a great signal pickup. I don't have a N router yet but I will be ready when I do. I liked my first one so much that I had to go back and buy several more, one for my brother.

If you want to block sites at the router, this isn't for you. If you don't need that feature, you can't beat the performance for the dollar.

I bought two of these and one was installed on a Vista PC and one on an XP PC and I have not had issues with either. Price wise this site was unbeatable on this deal - both for $26.95 !

Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax RouterThey said recertifed, it looked new to me. All I can figure is that it was a return from somebody who could not make it work. It was a close to plug and play for a secured network as can be. The only thing that scarred me was that it seemed too easy, I was up and running with WEP password enabled in 5 minutes. Range is incredible and it has not dropped a signal once in the month I've had it up and running. I would recommend this router to anybody who does not require "N".

It is very easy to set up and works quite well @ 54Mbps if you want the higher transfer rate, you are going to have to buy Netgears 108 Mbps wifi reciever, this all understood, it works well. (I have never tried this, but this unit has a repeater mode where it can actually be used as a repeater to extend your wireless range.)

Turns out my ethernet card was bad on first computer. Replaced that and it worked great. Third comp. is wireless and connected at 108mbs after setting security settings.
