The plus is my colege age daughter can now use her laptop when she comes home to visit. Tiger Direct had it on my doorstep the next day after ordering. I am very satisfied and would recommend the product and Tiger Direct.

Runs great, the webpage-based configuration is excellent, and I get 4 bars at 30 feet with two concrete walls in the way. The only downside is that when there's heavy use on the wireless, the wired access slows down a good bit. Other than that, awesome product! Thanks Tiger!

So I went back to my dear old TigerDirect, purchased it for hardly anything, AND...it works like a charm! And, I didn't have to add anything else to make it work properly.

Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax RouterWorks great! I didn't even need to download any software. Just plugged it in and opened Internet Explorer and the router's wizard started automatically. The big LED is annoying but there is a switch to turn off the light.

(cheap!!!) paid for regular shipping. the time from ordering to delivery was 3 days. it is a WPN824v2 1/2 hour set up. running in basement, laptop 50 feet away on the main floor, 5 bars, 108 Mbps rate. biggest time was updating the firmware and securing the site. great bargin.

The disk isn't even needed. The price can't be beat and I have yet to find a spot that it won't reach! Great product. Thanks to the TigerDirect rep on the phone by the way! GREAT customer service!

Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless AdapterI got a dud. I get internet for about 10 mins, then nothing. I have to restart my computer to get another 10 minutes of internet before the thing shuts off again. Feels like it overheats. Warranty is only 30 days. :(

It seems like something like this would fail under a long period of stress but I am yet to find out. It gets HOTTT. Conclusion:: ''3'' on quality ''5'' on everthing else. If in a crunch take risk on cheap quality construction. It works very well for me I just have to be careful with it. I was one of the lucky ones. Read other reviews to figure the odds.

Called there tech support and after waiting for over 20 minutes was told their recertified products are only supported thru email so if you are not real computer savy and may be a chance you will need tech support do not buy this item.

This Adapter however is having performance issues to no end, the worst being constant disconnects, where you have to disconnect and re-connect the adapter to get it going again. I bought 2 of them, same problem. Also, do not use the Netgear software, use the native windiws driver, it will work slightly better, not as many disconnects. Before buying again, I am going to Google the net instead of believing what I read here. The net is full of comments about this adapter, mostly negative. This adapter has been around for a while, and one would think that Netgear would have fixed these problems....I'll return to buying D-Link again

I'm a network engineer so thought I'd get cheap recertified router for parents. Router works great except for when using wireless security. If you live in the woods and don't need wep or wpa to protect your bandwidth then this product is for you. Otherwise pass on this. I also bought wpn111 adapter...unfortunately this adapter could not even grab a network address from netgear router with security on...at least the non-netgear brand wireless adapter was able to assign an address. Make a long story short, stay away from both products...

Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax RouterI purchased this to replace an old router that kicked the bucket. This item didn't install as easy as most Netgears normally do. I continued to use it for a week before beginning to see the difference in speed. I'm connecting to my laptop at wireless B speeds no matter what channel or config I use (the laptop is N). Got lazy and never returned it. I plan on replacing this with a Netgear or Linksys N router (new of course).

Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless AdapterNot sure how to rate this product as it doesn't seem to work with my router, but it can connect to my neighbors. I use it with my desktop PC running XP SP2. I have it sitting right on top of my D-Link wireless router, but for some reason it can't connect. I can see my network, but the signal strength is constantly changing. I know my router is working fine because I can connect to it with my laptop with no problem. And I know the NetGear USB adapter is working because I can connect to my neighbor's network with it. The NetGear USB adapter runs pretty warm - must use a lot of power. The accompanying software is fairly intuitive and easy to use. I just wish I could figure out why I can't connect to my D-Link router.
