Great Product and Price
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax RouterI bought two to set up a Netflix box for me and one for my neighbors girls for Christmas and they are terrific. I don't understand the negative reviews is it because some people have too much time on their hands, if you don't like it call them they will take care of things if you are so upset. I am very pleased I searched for hours and this has the best transmission and price. The staff at this company were great to deal with.

Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router Bought this for my dad at Christmas, very simple plug and play worked like a charm. Needed easy for Dad he's 86 likes this and his new laptop. One complaint, my computer logs on to his wireless before my own and his house is 300 yds from my house!

Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router I suspect there might be some variance between each individual item, but, mine worked great with little setup and has been perfect for the first month.

bad website
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax RouterWent to the Netgear site to download the manual and a firmware upgrade. Broken links. It then took 15 minutes and endless re-filling of personal and product info to do an online support query to get the stuff. But just noticed that this compnay itself has the manual. NEVER bother with software from router mfgs. Just use the OS wizard

Great price and awsome performance.

Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter I must admit it was a little difficult to install the wireless adapter without any drivers( there not included with the refurb model ) but after downloading them from the site that was listed on the paper sent with my order everything was fine. I did have to call customer service at one point but they walked me through everything and were extremely helpful ( 5 stars for the Customer Service ). The adapter works great and my internet has been up running without any issues since the devise was installed. All in all I would recommend this product to anyone and look forward to using Net Gear in the future..

good buy for computer literate
Comment:
Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter This is a good value. Beware though that there is no CD with the unit. You have to find the download for the driver online. I am not computer illiterate, but it still took me awhile to find the correct driver for the product I had and to install it properly. Would be nice if there was a paper with the DIRECT LINK for the correct download, as I had to go through several before I found the correct one.

Great Product - Value & Performance
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router Recently purchased this router and I was very pleased with the purchase price. The setup was flawless considering there were no setup instructions or software. If you can configure a DSL connection this is a piece of cake. It configures everything for you. After connecting the router and using the Setup Wizard I was up and running within 15 minutes. After reviews of other router's strength I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Works Excellent using XP Zero Config
Comment:
Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless AdapterUse only the USB ports directly on Motherboard. Use the USB extension cable supplied with adapter for a better signal. Install the NetGear software and drivers... go to System Hardware NetGearWPN111 and tell it to update drivers... it'll install those that it finds automatically on the hard drive. Don't use the NetGear software after initial install on XP.... Go to XP Zero Config for wireless. Set it up from there. This adapter is rock-solid at 54Mbps connection to my refurb Linksys WRT160n V2 router. Kids use YouTube, on-line chat and games simultaneously. No dropped connections or slow down. Took a while to find the trouble thru an old post on-line...

Deceptive Gimmick
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router There is apparent collusion between the vendor and the manufacturer to offload overstock gear like this wireless router under the guise of a discount! Buyer beware, as there's more headache and lost time trying to sort out problems of software incompatibility with one's desktop PC. The installation software is a trial version and requires purchase after 30 days. Customer support from either the vendor or manufacturer is so frustrating that the experience is more of a scam than reality in spite of my having been a customer for over 5 years.

Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter This WiFi Adapter keeps shutting off and I have to unplug and replug it in to get it to work. I am using it on a desktop maching so I have to get up and reset. I have tried online forums but no resolution has been found. I can see why this was sent back the first time. I bought refurb.

To The previous Poster and other noobs
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router You don't need to install any software for a router. All it is, is wasted hard drive space and a dumb useless program. They all have web based setups, read the instructions noobs. I have experience with 3 of these routers and they all stink. They all came from this site. Wifi stops working and have to power cycle. Slow wifi performance with extended range and 108Mbps feature turned on. Generally, this router is a piece of garbage. Buy something else.

Excellent Value
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router Product is far superior to other routers such as Linksys. Netgear items are much higher quality. The only setback is the lack of a CD but that can be remedied through a number of ways. Excellent value all around the board in terms of performance, speed, and ease of setup.

5 on everything so far
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router Well I have had no problem so far. Installation was easy i didnt even need a install cd just plugged it in and everything connected itself. I can't vouch for the wireless aspect of it as i have my stuff wired. You know even if it would go out in the next week it is still 100 times better than the Linksys router I had prior.

The Worst Ever
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router This is the worst router ever. Despite the reviews I went ahead and purchased this product. Email-only support, no ability to return for an exchange or refund - SERIOUSLY?! They won't take it back because it sucks. Once you buy it, you own it. Makes a decent paperweight which is about all it is good for. Won't work in any mode other than 'b'. What's the point? If I wanted an 11 mbps router I wouldn't have tried to upgrade.

Beware buyer
Comment:
Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter This item does not come with a driver disk. Windows vista will not recognize the device. Netgear's site only occasionally has drivers and they are not native drivers. They are patchy drivers not designed for 64 bit operating systems. Every time my computer boots I wonder if I'll have to unplug the device and reconfigure the network card. Perhaps this works on older systems. Be warned.
