Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax RouterI purchased this unit with the wireless adapter WG111 to connect another PC to the internet, everything connected great but the reception is very poor, I also use it for wifi on my iphone, My other PC is located directly above the router in an upstairs room only 10' away in a direct line, and the quality is low to very low and its like using a dial-up connection. While using my iphone, if I leave the room the router is in, I lose my connection completely. If you plan to purchase a wireless router and you will use it in the same room this unit will work fine, otherwise find a unit with a better range. I have also attempted to use it with a Wii console located in another room and it will not connect. I really would not recommend this unit!!!!!

Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless AdapterMy only issue, on the the sheet that comes with it, include the direct link to Netgear's driver download page. It took some digging, but I found them. Once I did that and loaded the drivers, product works great! I bought two, I recommend this product.

Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless AdapterI am pleased with the Netgear WPN111 USB wireless adapter so far. I have had it for a couple of weeks. It installed quickly and was easy for me to configure. The range was good for such a small device. Better than the built-in one on my laptop. One thing, however, I was not able to attain the 108mbps speed that was advertised because I have older 802.11G devices that max out at 54mbps in use. The system won't run in MIMO mode when older hardware needs to be used. Oh well, I can't complain at this price.

Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless AdapterThe software is dated 2005. It can't pick up a router located in the same house where the laptop can pick up a very good signal. I get a code 10 - device can't start which is normally indicative of poorly written software.

Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax RouterI have been a netgear owner for many years and I started having some lag issue with my wgr614 so I purchased this router and my internet browsing experience is amazing. To all of the people out there that are experiencing extreme lag like I was keep in mind that your current router is the cause because it is a piece of hardware and like any other peripheral it can and will go bad. I love netgear however because I had my wgr614 for about 7 or 8 years before I started having issues.

Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless AdapterA very good product, installs easily and performs as advertised. The adapter shipped and arrived at my address quickly. Two things to be aware of, if you have a previous version of the Netgear software, uninstall it completely before trying this model and you have to download the new software from the internet, so make sure you have internet access on something so that you can do that (you can't connect wirelessly on the computer you're trying to install on because the adapter isn't installed until the software is downloaded and installed.)

Just had to get drivers on Netgear's website for a old Win 98 machine but it worked just fine with that, good signal. Instaled on a Win XP machine just as easy. Will probably get another one to go back onto the Win 98 machine as it was intended for the XP machine.

Big LED dome light is pointless, turned it off immediately. I need to learn about all the settings to optimize it I suppose.
