Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter As long as your clear this isn't a top of the line model, This is the cheapest solution for getting basic wireless internet. I think it's perfect, but I'm just using it for email.

Good Value, Basic Features and Functions
Comment:
Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter For $11, I now can free my 2nd computer from the wires and do some basic internet browsing and email away from the crowded computer table. Max speed only 48mbs for me. Don't know where to make it to 108mbs as the sales claim. Maybe a bogus claim. It serves my simple purpose to browse the web.

Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router The product shipped right away and was received in days - during the holiday season. Item is in great condition, looks brand new, and functions well. Was very easy to set up. So far works great throughout the whole house! Thanks

Netgear WPN824NA
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router Terrible Wireless router. No range whatsoever. Good if you sit in the same room otherwise bad. I take my laptop down stairs less then 50 ft, Signal strength says 76% but data and packets are lost. Matched up with a Netgear wireless USB adapter. My D-Link would allow me to sit out by the pool, not this router. Not even concerned about encrypting the signal, they'd have to break in my house to obtain it. Garbage and its true what they say, you get what you pay for.

Excellent value and performance
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router I had been wanting to get a wireless router to connect my HP laptop to the internet. I couldn't pass up this deal for $20. There was easy setup with the Windows Vista OS, and quickly on line. The speed is impressive over the wired output from the wired cable modem. It's been working 100% for a month or so. We have another one that's worked for 6 months.

good deal
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router I am not a networking guru. I bought this to replace a belkin model. I was able to easily set it up maually through the IP address. I also bought the matching USB adapter. Bottom line: it reaches out a little further and a little stronger than the Belkin and holds the signal (no dropouts). It does not reach all over my house and I am still having to repeat the signal. It does not connect to the matching USB adapter at 108 Mbps. I figured that was advertising hype anyway. But it connects at 54 and thats what wireless G does so it's fine. The recertified price was OUTSTANDING. Solid wireless G for $20!!! I feel that for this price I got an awesome deal. So get one and you will to.

It works
Comment:
Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter I got it with the rangemax router. It works fine at 54. I have not figured out how to get it connected at 108. That part might be advertising hype. But for $10 you get a solid 54 Mbps and thats a steal! So get it you-really can't beat the price.

Excellent Wireless but I wonder
Comment:
Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter This WPN111 is by far stronger in signal strength than other brands I have tried. I just plugged it in and the drivers installed automatically too. The only thing I dont like is it gets really hot. Which I am guessing is the reason why it needed refurbished-recertified in the first place. Only time will tell, but I wanted everyone to know just in case this curbs there wanting one.

Would not recommend
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router I would not recommend this recertified router because it did work right out of the box for me. There are no instructions in the box, or are there any available at the NG website. You have to go to the NG website to get tech help or a replacement - TDirect does not offer any support on the product. There are no 800 numbers. You have to type the problem on a form at the website and go back to the website a day or two later for the answer. Also their communication is very poor. They asked me to state the problem with the router 3 different times before they finally gave me the instuctions for setting up the router. The problem was that it would not connect to the internet. Then one step of the instructions was incorrect and it took me a while to figure this out. Once I discovered this, I was able to connect to the internet. I have bought a lot of NG products without any problems, but if you do have a problem, it's going to take a long time to get it fixed.

Easy Setup No Problems
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router This worked great right out of the box. Set up was very easy. XP found all the drivers needed. Had it working in less than five minutes. Have not had any problems so for. I had a Belxin that was pure crap. It never worked correctly. Constantly having to work on it to keep it going. It finally died after a few months. This one has not given any problems. I wish I had found it first. I am using this wired. I have not tried it wireless. Some reviewers said the were having problems with wireless.

Excellent Router
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router What can I say for $20 I got a great router that worked immediately with phenomenal range. It's in the basement on the west side of the house and I was getting 4 bars in 2nd floor east side bedroom (as far away as I could get in the house). We're very satisfied.

buy some other brand
Comment:
Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter This product does not work on Windows ME and is not flagged as such. I found a down level version for ME at the netgear site but it does not fully install properly such that the wizard does not start. There are no error messages either in the installation nor in the execution. I am writing off the $12.99 and marking the tigersite as unreliable for PC products.

Good Product Great Price
Comment:
Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter Very simple to install after you download the drivers. Had the adapter up and running in very little time. Only disappointment is that I can only get 54Mbps. According to the manual, I should have an Advanced Tab to change from 54 to 108Mbps, but it's nowhere to be found. Overall, very satisfied with it.

Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter I attempted to install and was getting no where. I found a site that had a different config file to use and this didn't work either. Time to buy a linksys and be done with it.

Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router It worked perfectly with Comcast cable once I did this: go to 192.168.1.1, user:admin, pass:password, basic settings, and set router MAC address to the Computer MAC address (instead of default).

Netgear WPN111 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter I AM DIS-SATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT. THINKING THE PRODUCT WAS A BARGAIN ON SALE I SHOULD HAVE FOLLOWED MY FIRST MIND AND PURCHASED A NEW ONE. IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL AND I AM ABOUT TO TOSS IT IN THE TRASH BECAUSE I THINK IT IS TOO LATE TO GET A REPLACEMENT. SOMETIMES GOING THE CHEAP ROUTE IS THE WRONG ONE BECAUSE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.......

Not such a great deal!!!
Comment:
Netgear 108Mbps RangeMax Router I got a MacBook and at first I was skeptical about how cheap I had found this item. I spent hours trying to download the right software from the website. Since I bought it refurbished it doesn't come with the software disk and I still could not make this thing work. I can only speak for Apple users, maybe it just doesn't work for Apple. I am totally dissatisfied, it was a waste of money.
