Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Cons: none

Pros: Compatibility, Usability, Visual appeal, performance
Comment:
Windows 7 is still, in my opinion, the most complete OS to date. Although similar visually to Windows Vista, Windows 7 is an improvement in almost every way.OS resource consumption is way down, usability is a little better and it is now compatible with almost any hardware and software dating back to the XP days.Great job MS!

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Cons: none.

Pros: fast, stable, excellent
Comment:
windows 7 is definitely a good os. i tried both the 32bit and 64bit versions. had to stick with 64bit to utilize most of my ram. overall this os is a major improvement over vista. it borrows a bit from the mac and xp, but oveall is much more user friendly than other windows os.

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Cons: maybe not needed over premium

Pros: Windows 7 useability
Comment:
I have used the premium versions over and over without any problems. I don't think this is worth while for the average internet and email machine. but for some it does have a few nice extras.

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Cons: - networking is difficult

Pros: - easy to use- looks very nice- nice amount of functionality
Comment:
Windows 7 is very nice to use. Aero looks amazing. I'm able to use most if not all programs i was using in windows xp (although starcraft gave some problems). My only gripe is that networking between computers is very difficult.

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Cons: (none)

Pros: Fast, responsive, stable
Comment:
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit DVD/OEM is a good choice for a modern computer build. Specialized research, office work, gaming, programming, virtualization – regardless of your needs, this operating system will deliver a positive, stable and responsive experience to be sure.Highly recommended for its XP Compatibility Mode that enables older productivity programs to function inside a newer interface.

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Cons: -Still looking for them, Im sure they are there but I haven't been bothered by any of them so as far as im concerned there are no weaknesses.

Pros: -Stable-Awesome search tool-Well designed taskbar-No compatibility issues as of yet-64-bit!-More efficient management of RAM-Can use Windows XP Virtual Machine (Haven't had to yet though.)
Comment:
I first got this about 4 months ago. I was someone who hated vista and stuck with XP and then Windows 7 came along and finally released me from having to use a 9 year old operating system (WinXP) I am very happy with it, it actually does what I tell it to, I havent had a single error yet... That is rather unbeleivable but... I couldn't be happier, I hear that with some legacy programs it is an issue... but I dont deal in Legacy programs so for myself it gets 5 out of 5. Microsoft finally pulled out a winner here id say.

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Cons: UAC is still there, but not as annoying nowIt's only 1 use.

Pros: Lower price than RetailSimple GUINOT Vista, thank goodness.XP Mode
Comment:
I bought this for my new computer build, and this OS seems to be running much more faster than Vista running on my laptop. I like the replacement of the window bars with highlighted icons, it just makes the taskbar cleaner. The gripes that I had was with the UAC. It is not as annoying as Vista, but it still comes up sometimes. Luckily, there are tutorials to stop it. But since this is not a retail version, this is only 1 use, and is locked to the computer you install.Overall, this OS is a worthy successor to XP (Vista does not deserve it, lol).

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Cons: None

Pros: Performance and Aesthetics
Comment:
If you're going to be accessing work networks, remote desktops, etc, etc. Win 7 Pro is the way to go. System looks and runs as nice as the home version, but has those extra features that are necessary if your computer is used for genuine work or business.

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Cons: None

Pros: Best version of Windows to date! Performance and stability.
Comment:
Windows 7 doesn't reinvent the box. It just takes the best parts of Vista, and fixes almost all of the annoying things about Vista. 64Bit is the way to go, due to the increase performance and the little bit of extra security that you get.

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Cons: None so far.

Pros: True virtualised Windows XP environment. It "just works".
Comment:
I purchased this version of Windows for my work computer as it includes the proper virtualised Windows XP environment. Working in the somewhat reluctant to change automation industry means most software hasn't been updated to work with Vista / 7 so this was crucial. Everything seems to work. Highly recommend for anyone looking to be backwards-compatible but do their day-to-day computing in a modern OS.

Wow, what a change from Vista
Comment:
Vista started repeatedly freezing on me after 2months of use, then again 2 months after complete reinstall, then again. Each time giving me less and less time before a freeze. Windows 7 has a hibernate mode that works fine, no freezes, no stupid reminders to do unnecessary things, and active multitasking that doesn't wimp out. One would think that Windows deliberately made Vista a shoddy, bugridden mess so we'd appreciate XP and 7. No complaints so far, and I really use my computer hard as a photographer and gamer. Uses my full 8GB RAM, quad processor, and 1.5TB hard disk, and I love my computer again.

Good price if you're getting 7
Comment:
Had to finally upgrade to 7 and overall I'm happy with it. Full install was quick, maybe 20 minutes at most. OEM just means you save money and get a good product. My only issue is sometime when I start up my comp and windows loads, it continues to load and I can't click or do anything. Happens once every 25 times or so, but that could just very well be a hardware issue. Overall, happy with it

Superior Product
Comment:
Being of old age and having dealt with all of the Microsoft Operating Systems from 1987, the Windows 7 sits up there with Windows 95 and Windows 98. Only difference is that it actually surpasses those by far. The quickness of installation to the quickness of booting from the start (a hard boot). The Graphic clarity it produces on a system that uses onboard video is superior to say the least. I highly recccomend that all person that have a computer that is capable of being upgraded do so.

great product
Comment:
Windows 7 is definitely a leap ahead as compared to windows vista as Vista is nothing more than a memory hog and very slow i was doing the beta test on windows 7 and it outperformed Vista by a long shot the person getting the BSOD has obviously done something wrong on his install

Installed perfectly and worked flawlessly. Im happy with the purchase. p.s. To the one that made a negative review, it is definitely your fault if this OS didn't work in your PC. Try to do research first before buying.

BEWARE GET VISTA WINDOWS 7 crashs every 30 minutes
Comment:
well i have had windows seven on my 1000 dollar quad core maching i just built for around a month. i get the blue screen of death every hour to half hour. very unstable. i'm returning this and getting vista. not to microsoft. testing your operating systems before you release them is probalby wise. i spent way to much money on this computer to have windows crashing constantly. thanks for wasting my time

Innovation and stability
Comment:
There were a number of things on my wish list that made it into this version of Windows, including: a sortable task bar, the introducton of document libraries enabling multiple organizational strategies for documents without the need for multiple copies of those documents, and easier access to customization dialogues.

Finally an excellent OS from microsoft
Comment:
The security & performance of Vista but without the mind boggling annoyance of the OS believing it is smarter than you. Also a thing of the past is the hardcore memory leaks & massive amount of memory vista required; windows7 is a very streamlined & rugged OS.
