D-Link DIR-615 Wireless Router

This router has to be the easiest to install computer item that I have ever purchased. Following the instructions, which are clearly provided in the packaging, I had this router up and running is less than 10 minutes. It works great, and has a great price! Thanks.

pretty much just plug and play to install, just needed to reset the cable modem. do actually hafta run the install cd to set up the wireless. seems difficult to secure wireless, ended up blocking all access, even wired, when i tried. had to reset router to get it to work at all again.

As usual, great service and fast delivery, thanks. I like DLink products. The web interface is easy to navigate. However, the website filter does not work. I've written to DLink support. They basically copied the procedure from the manual and emailed me the instructions. I re-did the procedure for S&G, same outcome. Wrote back and they said call the 24/7 tech support that I've exhausted their email options. OK, but most of the time I'd rather spend time with my kids rather than troubleshoot someone hardware. I'm sure a firmware upgrade will come out soon. Cheers, M

i was a little bit disapointed when i hooked it up, i realized that, although it is a wireless-n router, it does not have a modem built in. It does not say that anywhere in the description. I ended up using my old wireless router, a cheap 2wire, to work as a modem in between the internet and the new router. I thought that this was a bit strange that it doesn't say anything about it until you open it up.

I have purchased two of these wireless routers. It out performs any Wireless router I have ever owned. The coverage area is unbelievable. I live in a long house with two stories and it reaches the far corners of my home with out an issue. It works great with 3 wireless computers and 1 xbox 360 set up in my home. I recommend this product to any one looking for this kind of deal.

We had to call support after several attempts to install on our own. There is no way we could have installed this without calling customer support-we were directed to a website, given an administrative password...it was most difficult. Once installed, the router works great-we upgraded from a wireless b network. Overall, I think it's a good value for the money.

I am goint to get to the point. I have researched everywhere prices, performance and reviwes. I must say that this is one of the most cheapest and yet high performance router you'll find... I been to every store and web site and Tiger had it best. It took about 10 minutes to install it and had it for a month with no problems.. highly recommended for $40.

This product is what it says. It gives a stronger wireless signal and longer range. Unfortunately I had problems configuring it with Window Vista. The software has problems automatically configuring with Vista and I had to call D-Link tech support several times before problem was resolved

I bought this product for my self and have recommended it to all my friends since. It is a great router for the price. Its easy to set up and use. The cd that comes with it makes it easy for non technical people. I gave it only 4 stars because its not the best router you can buy on the market but it does do a really good job with no issues. My recommendation on this router is it's 100% worth buying it especially for the price.

I have absolutely ZERO knowledge about networking and wireless stuff, and the CD that came with this device made set-up a complete no-brainer. (Manual set-up is also available for those who know what they're doing!) I would recommend this product to anyone needing a wireless router - great product!

I have to admit i do like the product once i got it set up. However for me it wasn't an easy install the cd and get on the internet. I only kept getting local access, so i called tech support. It only takes about 5 mins to get in touch with an actual person. If you are one of those people who can't understand what indian people are saying then its going to take you a while to get it set up. I was on the phone with them for two different nights, which adds up to about 6 hours of talk time. I wouldnt recommend this product to anyone who doenst know what they are doing. Cause you will end up like me. Hope this helps out on you search

Okay the negative reviews need to stop. I used the set up wizard and was done within 10 minutes, I felt like I hardly did anything! I'm running a computer, a laptop, and a PS3 all at once and the signal is extremely strong. For this price you will not find anything better or easier. Anyone who spent more than 10-15 minutes setting up, needs to go to a basic computer class somewhere, if they even have those now-a-days....

Had this up and going in about 5 minutes, great wireless N signal and a breat buy. I reccommend not running there wizard to set it up and just set it up manually. As somone mentioned below, you need to hook it to your computer with a wire, and change its default IP address to one that does not conflict with your internet modem/router. Try somthing like 192.168.0.250! Good Luck All!

I bought this to replace a router that would not quite reach the upper floor for my wife's laptop. the router is in the basement and easily supplies a strong signal. WPA2 was a snap to set up

I've had this router up and running for two years with no problems but it did take a couple tweaks to get it that way. It's pre-configured to filter network traffic out of the box so you have to go in and take turn the filtering off if you want it to recognize other systems on your network. I also had to change the default IP to a number other than 1 to get it to connect(ex: 192.168.0.1) SO yeah, if you're not computer savvy it might be a pain but hey, if you can get it going it's worth the price TD's got it at now. I would recommend it over the Refurbed Netgear they have on sale. Good Luck!

Was hoping to get a good router at a cheap price, but i guess the saying is true on this one, if its to good to be true it is, spent nearly 4 hours trying to get this router working with my internet and never got it to work at all, i wouldn't recommend it unless your feeling lucky

This is a great value for the price. Setup took 25min. Seems to work great with all my computers (4 desktops & 3 laptops) havn't had any problems with it sofar.

Just got ths and I am very satisfied. I now have a great signal all over the house where I used to have only weak signals. Easy to set up and work well.

Replaced a lynksys wrt54g with this and have had nothing but problems. Mac keeps getting knocked offline so i have to keep rebooting router. Customer support said to return this so i did and had same problems with new one. I would not buy D-link product again bad support and bad products.

I just got this thing 2 weeks ago. When I first hooked it up I had trouble logging onto the network I had set up. I then set up an unsecure net and I still had probs. Finally I called D Link support and their tech, who had a very heavy dialect, walked through everything with me and finally had to enter my ip address and a few other items in the setup. I now have beautiful signal all over the house! I'm not a cp genius but this thing is filling our needs just great so far! I would definately buy another one! I'm batting a thousand with Tiger Direct and all the products I bought through them! Thanks man!

Wood365 might have turned on the MAC filter by mistake. This router is pretty easy to set up and does the work nicely, wired and wireless. I recommended it to a friend of mine with no networking experience at all, and he got the same result as me. Great router.

After Spending Hours trying to get the thing to run right.. Only to find out the signal I had with my old ''G'' wireless was better and more dependable.. I will never buy a D-Link product again in my life.. This was a piece of junk.. My advice...Go Netgear !!
