D-Link DIR-615 Wireless Router

I gave this router as a Christmas gift for a family member. The family member has little experience with computers and routers but found it easy to set up. I recently went to her house and enabled the wireless. It worked within minutes.

Easy to set up. Wireless N for the price of G.... I've always had pretty good luck with D-link brand network components.

Had a problem where the rooter can stand long wireless communication. I had to tweak the parameter with some geek on the web to make it happen. Future will see if it tough it out. Not very fast transfer rate.

Worked right out of the box. I had minimal difficulty hooking it up to my PC. I did have some trouble hooking up my Wii to it, but that is more my novice level when dealing with networking. So far I am quite pleased.

Had no problem installing on desktop PC, but had problems with my laptop. However, tech assistance figured it out and everything is working great.

I've been using the router for about a month now will very little issues. It was very simple to install and took maybe 5 minutes to configure before off to the XBOX and PS3 for game time.

The instalation software locked up and crashed near the end of the process and haven't been able to get the thing installed since. Waste of my time and money.

The D-link router was returned as it would not work.

Bought this in anticipation of having wireless internet at some point in the near future. The software that comes with it refuses to run setup without an internet connection plugged into the router. Made setup a little tougher then it should have been.

I bought this in July of 2009 and it died in December 2009.

I recently purchased this as an upgrade to my Link sys router. However due to many issues with a PAP2T VOIP not working through this router (see postings for this dlink forums) I can not use this device. All other functionality seems to be ok, but I have not tested it.

the mfgs' website stated this product had detachable antennas. This product does not have detachable antennas. I had bought this product to use with high gain antennas. Only HW version A has detachable antennas which is obsolete. After 6 hours on the telephone with mfg I was told it's my problem and to try and return product eventhough the error was their fault.

I got this router for a upgrade to my home network. It is fast and the setup was easy.

I had alittle problem at first but got it working in about an hour. Once installed it works verry well for my 36o plus 1 computer..

Easy to set up & use. Security setup is simple and quick. Just follow the prompts on the CD.

Got this system to use with new laptops in my home. Setup was very straightforward and easy and has been working great! This is my first router , so I can't really compare to older version (this is wireless-N) but I have not noticed any difference in speed or connectivity between desktop and laptops.

I bought this router in hopes that it would work better that the Netgear unit I have currently. The Netgear unit hangs and has to be reset every couple of days. This unit hangs and has to be reset almost every day. I am not happy with this unit and will go back to my Netgear unit

Router works excellent and the price was excellent. Had some difficulty hooking up my new laptop to my network. Turns out the wireless adapter driver on the laptop needed to be updated. Good speed for my laptop and xbox. I would recommend this router for basic home networks.

We used 6 of these to create our office network with a public and private network. Worked wonderfully.

Easy to set up. No need to use the included software if you have some basic knowledge. In my case I had to change the mac ip due to my DSL modems config. Has been rock solid for weeks with no issues. The web based interface is easy to use.
