I wasn't sure if I was even ordering the right thing. I received the router, followed the basic instructions, and I was up and running in about 10 minutes. No need to call support or mess around. Great coverage around my house and all my systems work fine. Definitely worth it!

Easy to install had wireless internet in less then 15 minutes. The signal has been flawless for over a month now great product.

With security at max some adjustments had to be made for xp laptops and pc to find IP address.(Possible conflict with factory installed settings, found solution on internet) Eventually all working well.

I have a dual boot (XP WIN7) win7 cound not install, so installed on xp and no problems. D link Web site my have some help. Ofcourse the wireless works on the WIN7 side.

went to the web interface put in a password for wlan and its plug n play. as of now the signal is 1 bar lower (based on windows) than the linksys g router next to it but maybe because d link is getting the internet from the linksys router instead of the modem. i cant test the N since i dont have an N adapter yet. the 360 with an n adapter is not lagging anymore though :)

Supplied cable was bad. No prob, I have a spare. EZ setup & config. Palm Pilot unable to detect network. Almost as slow as dial-up! Even off the LAN port. Cheap product, works OK with my cheap ISP supplied modem and bottom tier DSL service. I'll use it. Love Ya guys!!!

I bought this for a cousin who just recently purchased a laptop and wanted to roam the house and surf the web. The range is descent but not outstanding. The N wifi is fast. The four wired ports are nice for desktops and just wiring straight to a laptop or xbox or ps3, and still have the wifi. The software that comes with this did not work to set up the laptop so I did away with it and just hooked straight to the modem and wa la, not issues. You will need the software however to set up a secure connection via wifi. Maybe you can download it from manufacturers website, but I did not need it.

I just replaced my old router, and this router really flies. I did have some difficulty with the setup. After reading the instructions it was my fault. It will at times drop the signal and that could be because I have a 2.4 Ghz phone in the area.

This works quite well when set for Wireless G alone but crashes and reboots every hour when you use the Mixed G and N setting. I do not know how it works using N only. I would recommend this if you do not have a mixed setting.

This baby flys compared to all of my other previous routers. A little tricky to setup if you have no experiance. but just run the wizzard and modify from that basic setup and you should be fine. Once setup this product is a rock solid preformer.

Set up with Comcast cable modem (sufboard). laptop wireless sees modem but will not connect to internet. Reset everything, setup again with out security settings, now it won't see modem through LAN cable. Reset, followed diretions again to setup leaving moden unplugged for over five minutes. Still won't connect to internet through wireless or LAN cable. Ran over router with big truck. Feel beter but out a few bucks.

I ordered this wondering how I was going to screw up the installation and end up with another piece of electronic trash - but after a call to D-Link customer service - (don't call you ISP as suggested - worthless venture that) I have been up and running. My little Acer notebook has NEVER lost connection. The two Dell laptops have to have their connections repaired from time to time - but a Dell problem for sure. Honestly - I could not be happier! I have had the main frame and two laptops up and running - one of them using the infamous Magic Jack phone jack - and didn't experience any problems. If you are looking to make a move - I cannot recommend this product high enough for a newbie.

I was mad that I had to call to install it but the person walked me through it and it works flawlessly and my laptop is now connected at 3 times the speed of my last router which is great. I also like that it is secure which was not the case with the last one.

No problems with installation - just replaced my wired router with same connections, and that's it. Has an easy installation guide program also. Better yet, once installed, it works great.

Pulled it out of the box, turned it on, set it up, runs perfectly, signal is strong even in next door neighbors house. no connectivity issues whatsoever

This router arrived sooner than I thought it would thanks to this company. They always do a great job. The one problem I had was with the instalation CD that came with it. I put it in my computer and received an error message. I tried it in my wife's computer with the same results. I called D-Link customer service and was guided through manual instalation by one of their friendly and informed techs. I was up and running in no time. I'm also getting faster internet than I was getting with an older D-Link DI-604 wired router. All in all, I'm a happy guy!
