D-Link DIR-615 Wireless Router

I was shocked to see an N class router selling so cheap. Naturally my expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised by what I ended up with. As soon as I had received it, I had it up and running at full speed (300 Mbps) in minutes. Definitely a great buy.

Great router for everyday networking. Had to revert back to older firmware as after upgrading I was no longer able to get a 300 Mbps connection with both desktop located downstairs and laptop located in living room 40ft away. Also, I have connected a DLink Bridge/Switch, DAP-1522 in livingroom which provides ethernet connections to my Samsung TV and Sony Blu-ray via wireless bridge of router and switch. A must for ever changing blu-ray features and firmware upgrades. I no longer have to run 40 ft of cable evrytime I want to connect to BD Live.

Pros: Installed imediately with zero issues. Runs fast and works well with all my N and G adapters. Cons: NONE I can't really see any need to spend more than this if you want to move up to N. Never see less than 117 Mbps on any N machine and range is MUCH better than my old G router. Excellant signal in all rooms of three floor townhouse. I bought it for the range. It was like getting the speed free.

For the money nothing beats it. Backward compatable with 802.11g perfectly even better that the 2310 g router also from dlink. 30 days of awesome customer support. Unless you are doing some crazy online gaming, this is it look no further and if it does not work send it back. Because it works.

This is a great router for a home wireless networks. I've been trying to find out if there is an additional antenna you can add to boost the signal. Other than that it's been a great product.

I got this for our new laptop, and it is a lot better than I had expected it to be. The setup was extremly easy, and management is very easy as well. We can use it anywhere in the house and yard, and we don't have a small yard by any means. I have already recommended this router to one person that has already bought one, and two more that are looking, one of which will be buying one soon, which may also result in a third person buying one in the fairly near future.

good product. I'mm well pleased with it, but am more pleased with tigerdirects service. Originaly I purchased another brand which I could not get to work. After contacting tigerdirect, I simply returned the other one with no hassle at all and my account was credited, then bought this router with which I am well pleased.

The installation instructions, phone support and all were excellent. The product works great. It was not slated specifically to work with Fiber, but does! I had to do one reboot and it came right up. Very happy with product. Minor issue; says it comes with Network Magic for free, but I could not locate it on the disks. They instructed me to call Network Magic for the free copy. (not a trial copy)

This excellent router has a compact design and parks itself unobstrusively on the computer tower. There is one small issue with port layout - if you wish to orient the device vertically, one of the two antennae cannot be positioned vertically. Setup is utterly effortless, and the rich menu of options would fully satisfy any 'power' user. I am able to use the notebook computer anywhere in the house or yard, with transfer speeds up to 300mbps at 40MB bandwidth. Wireless connectivity is no longer a bottleneck in download and upload speeds = these are just as fast as direct Ethernet cabling. I highly recommend this product.

I have used nothing buy Linksys in the past and this is my first D-Link product. Easy to setup, easy to use and good performance.
