Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Price

Pros:Very easy to OCStable
Comment:
Bought this with the asus p8z68-v Pro and super easy to OC Only a very minor OC for me but still so easy you don't have to know anything to do it. Just click some buttons in a software program. Might go for a bit more OC later but for now 4.3 is enough.

Pros:Fast CPU, good stock cooling
Comment:
This is one of the best values in the CPU market right now. Solid performer and can overclock a lot if you need it too and have the right motherboard. Integrated HD 3000 video chipset works pretty well for older games and many modern games with lower details. Runs cool and at stock speeds can compete with a similarly clocked i7 in a lot of things.

Recently purchased this cpu, was well worth the money, its a little speed demon. This proccessor is lightning fast, also it was a breeze to OC it (Gigabyte Mobo)Well worth the money vs a core i7

Cons:wasn't free

Pros:fast, runs cool, mad overclocking
Comment:
Awesome processor. Fastest I've ever had, runs cool, stingy on power. What more could you want? With an SSD I get 7.9 out of 7.9 on Windows experience. Guess Microsoft has to update  that soon.

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:honestly nothing

Pros:Best bang for buck processor availble (amd's have nothing on this)amazing OC capability low voltage compared to last gen i7
Comment:
this chip is by far the best cpu to get if you are looking to spend $300 and under. It is teh same chip as the 2600k but with no hyperthreading but that feature isnt really worth it for 90% of buyers. This cpu is amazing at OC'ing, i only OC'ed it to 4ghz at 1.08v and thats just a modest OC.

Not much to say aside from THIS THING IS A BEAST! Yes I'm yelling, yes I'm excited, yes I'm impressed. This chip does all you can ask of it and then some.Easily OC'd to 4.7ghz for me on an Asus Sabertooth P67, runs cool and steady...love it.

Pros:- Intel- Core- i5- 2500k
Comment:
This CPU is simply amazing. Awesome performance in most (probably all in fact) applications, games and overclocking. With no voltage increase, I had it running at 4.2GHz. With a little voltage increase, I currently have it running at 4.5GHz with no problem at all. Temps are excellent (45-50 degrees at load) with a Corsair H50 water cooling and I'll definitely get more overclocking done whenever I have some time to spare. This is seriously one of the best buy I've ever made!

Pros:- Fast CPU- Great for Games and Video Encoding
Comment:
Upgraded from i7-920, didn't think I would see a difference as I would be loosing HT, but immediately I can tell it runs faster than my i7-920. Will be overclocking this soon.

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Stock cooler is a little wimpy. It can get hot under full load, but it handles heat well.

Pros:Great price to performance ratio. Lots of overclock ability with a low base clock frequency of 100MHz and 37x+ multiplier. I've tested it up to 80C without problems. Can be undervolted some at stock clock settings.
Comment:
I bought this CPU for a new desktop used mainly for games. I looked at getting the newer i7-3930k and the i7-2700k, but nearly every review I read indicated that newer games are bottle-necked by the video card, especially at higher resolutions. Most games don't make much use of hyperthreading either. Due to that, I went with the i5-2500k to save some money and went with two video cards instead. I think I made the right choice.

Cons:stock heatsink/fan kinda weak

Pros:unlocked for overclocking, good performance for price
Comment:
This is a great processor for price to performance, easy to overclock. Easy to install, worked like a charm right out of the box. I bought a heat sink for this as my only complaint is that the stock fan sink is kinda garbage.

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Wasn't comfortable with the standard heatsink it came with, thus purchased a Coolermaster Hyper 212 to use with it instead.

Pros:Best "bang for buck" in system build especially when paired in a combo deal. It handles everything I've thrown at it with ease; runs like a champ. Light-years ahead of the dual-core system it is replacing.
Comment:
Very pleased with this purchase even using stock speeds. Picked up for $199.99 when paired with my Gigabyte mobo. A very solid processor for that price -- can't be beat.

Pros:affordable then i7Can be overclock
Comment:
I buy this with my Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P ATX LGA1155 Z68 MB combo for a discount price. I really like when is installed. My Window 7 pro is running smoothly and the MB bios menu are very informative during installing. I haven't try to over clock it yet since there is no need to. I did other to use the stock fan as so I buy Corsair Cooling Air Series A50 fan for it and the temperature is at 30 degree which is pretty good. If you don't want to spend the money for i7, then i would suggest you to buy this with the combo of the MB.

Cons:Mediocre stock heatsink

Pros:Fast, excellent memory performance, excellent value
Comment:
Overclocks like a champ with much better memory performance than AMD systems. I was planning on a Bulldozer build but decided to try Intel after tiring of the delays. Overall, it was a worthy upgrade from an AMD PII X4.

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:wanted the hd3000 graphics, but didn't care about K overclocking ability, so probably paid about $15 extra for that

Pros:good performance vs. price ratio
Comment:
Satisfied so far with this i5 2500k. Was able to run original F.E.A.R. and FarCry2 at decent resolutions without problems, haven't tried much else. Apparently the integrated HD3000 graphics is comparable to an ATI 5450, so nothing special, but fine for just about everything except the new games.Cores running < 30 deg. C at idle with stock fan, pad and heatsink.Got a good deal with ncix because they pricematch competitors

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:None.

Pros:- Fast CPU! Really fast!- Quad Core- Unlocked (although I run stock)- Quiet Stock Heatsink/Fan- Runs at very cool temperatures with stock fan
Comment:
This CPU is really fast! I actually really like the stock heatsink / fan. I used to do a lot of overclocking in the past but I didn't want to bother with all that anymore. The stock heatsink/fan is really good, especially running at stock speeds. It's very quiet, and the temperatures are very low. Idle temps are as low as 27C, while running Prime95 with full load on all 4 cores hits about 70C max. Even under full Prime95 load, the fan stays fairly quiet. Awesome CPU! If you're not going to overclock, the stock Heatsink/Fan is perfectly fine.

Cons:- Can't think of any

Pros:- Fast Processor- Easy to overclock, lots of room to play
Comment:
I'm very pleased with my purchase, this processor does everything a gamer needs. I7 would be overkill with the hyper-threading which isn't even used in gaming. Save yourself a couple bucks and get the i5 2500k you won't be upset, spend the remainder on a better video card because this processor is not going to be the slow down.Have mine overclocked d 4.5ghz, with lots of room to play but no need to. Very happy, temps are great with Khuler 620
