Cons:It is just too awesome!!!
Pros:Fast.Affordable.Very cool. Comment:
I put this in my new gaming rig with a Sapphire Radeon 6950 HD and it blows my older computer out of the water. I haven't found a single game yet that it doesn't completely trounce. I haven't even tried overclocking yet! This rocks. I didn't have to sell my arms or legs to afford it either! |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Terrible, dismal, weak, horrible heatsink/fan design
Pros:Very fast. Extremely cool running. Best value in CPUs right now Comment:
This CPU is a beast. I regularly run Ubuntu 11.04, inkscape, gimp, gnumeric, imagej, while downloading with Sabnzbdplus and running a Win7 virtual machine. The computer does not slow down. I've yet to make it hit it's performance ceiling. I have overclocked my CPU to 4.8 ghz with a corsair a70 heatsink-fan assembly. It is more expensive than many CPUs but the performance is not comparable (AMD fanboy since Athlon Venice) |

Cons:Heatsink is bad.
Pros:Overclock, Overclock, Overclock!Oh and price. Comment:
Got this in a bundle deal. I now have it running at 4.7Ghz j 1.325v. Ran Prime95 for 12 hours and no problems happened. Sits around 28-32c at idle and hits 65 max load. Using a Corsair H70 to cool it.All in all, worth the money. |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Stock cooler is a no go for overclocking, it's laughable at best :PAt least there's thermal paste pre applied.
Pros:Amazed how cheap performance is these days. For about 200$ to get something that will easily attain 4Ghz on air cooling at really good temperature (combined with a good cooler)Really efficient on idle, can downclock for lower temperatures even when overclocked Comment:
It gives me more than enough headroom for my gaming needs, easily overclockable are ridiculous voltage and temperatures (in a good way !)It's a tremendous value for the price. |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-mine runs slightly hot compared to others I've seen out there-stock heatsink is pretty pathetic, significant improvements were made with just a basic 30$ heatsink addition
Pros:-very fast, easily overclockable-easy to install/clean-can handle higher temperatures regularly Comment:
Great product, can run hot just fine, very fast chip and easily overclockable. Easy to install. Also quite overclockable at relatively low voltages. |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Bclk is pretty much locked...
Pros:Overclocking, Temperatures, Gaming Performance! Comment:
This is a beautiful processor - and hands-down the best thing to put in a gaming machine right now. Walks all over everything else - overclocks like a champ, and stays WAY cooler than the last-gen Intel processors. I've always been a fan of AMD, but they can't even compete with this at the moment.. |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:None other than the obvious (Intel's terrible stock coolers of course)
Pros:It's Fast, Powerful and great O/C'R Comment:
I bought this to replace my aging Q6600. Video conversions (encoding/decoding are a snap). Plenty of power for that while doing other things at the same time. I am very pleased with this CPU and would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade to a current set up (if your on a budget). Even if your not planning to overclock...get yourself a decent aftermarket cooler (i'm using the corsair A50). You can't go wrong with the i5-2500k. Price/Power/Performance= a great buy!! |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:I don't know any.
Pros:Really fast.Starcraft 2 runs awesome on it.Best bang for your buck CPU right now in my opinion. Comment:
I haven't overclocked this thing yet to keep my NCIX assembled computer warranty valid, but running at 3.3ghz with turbo boost on, its super fast. I can only imagine how it works when given a slight overclock to 4.5ghz, which will most likely be achievable and stable.I don't know why anybody building a computer right now would even think of getting anything else other than the slighty faster i7-2600K. For the price, it outperforms anything right now. |

Cons:None
Pros:Great speeds. Intel has and always will be the best. Comment:
Greatly outperforms anything I've had in the past. Easy to install, comes with a standard heatsink (great for non-overclock). CPU temps are under 40 even at full load (Starcraft 2, max settings). Always go with Intel! |

Pros:Great overclockerGreat valueGreat speed! Comment:
Combo'd this with an ASUS P8Z68-V Pro, Antec Kuhler H20 620, and G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL.The system is incredibly fast and very quiet. Incredibly stable with a mild overclock to 4.5GHZ. The mobo and ram are perfect with it. 7.6 WEI rating at stock everything. |
Excellent processor with amazing headroom for overclocking. Got it running at 4.6GHz with a single change in the BIOS! It cannot get easier than this. For the price diffence, the K is a must.I think I should be good for another 3-4 years. :-)
