Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:A bit expensive
Pros:Easy to OC, stable Comment:
Great CPU, really easy to OC (4.7 on a Gigabyte D3H-B3), but above that it starts becoming very unstable. 4.8 will constantly crash no matter what my voltage settings are at, so I just stick with 4.7 |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Intel HS&F, never did bother trying it. It looks way too small.
Pros:Easy overclockerPrice/Performance is right Comment:
Running at 4.6GHz on a p8p67 board. 64c with Prime blend & megahalems w/ push - pull config at 900rpm (dead silent). This CPU has no problems playing BF2 beta and live streaming to twitch.tv while doing so. 80-90% cpu while doing both. 65-70% while just playing BF3 beta.It does everything I need. I'm curious to see what the i7's do now. It's a champ in my books. |

Comment:
Totally awesome power for the dollars. Has preformed at a continuous reliable very fast speed. I don't know what else to say. Does precisely as advertized. Stock Heat Sink and Fan looks good and was uncomplicated to install. I also noticed it runs a little hot. Type of concerns me but haven't encountered any issues. Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Stock heatsink is kind of small. But who uses stock heatsinks anymore anyways.
Pros:One of the best CPUs for gaming at a decent cost.Overclocks very well. I got mine up to 4.5ghz no sweat. Comment:
This is the best CPU to get for a medium-budget gaming tower at the moment. I was surprised to see that the metal portion of the stock heatsink was only about half the size of the stock heatsink that came with my q6600. Overall a good upgrade. |

Cons:None.
Pros:FastSo easy to OverclockDoesn't run hot Comment:
All I can say is wow, for $200 this is the fastest and best bang for your buck cpu out there. I have this running at 4.8ghz and it doesn't go higher than 55 degrees under full load with a voltage of around 1.4v. Blazes through anything, an absolutely solid product that I have recommended to all of my gaming buddies looking to upgrade now or wait! |

Cons:none
Pros:Unlocked, Price Comment:
This is a great chip. OC Beast. Currently set at 45x at 100. Will keep pushing it till i hit the limit with the Corsair A70. With a thermal limit of around 90C, im only at 60C loaded.I picked this up for system i am building for a friend. I will recommend this to any one that is currently looking for a gaming system.Well worth the few extra bucks for the unlocked version. |

Cons:-Stockcooler and thermal paste suck
Pros:-Very fast-Overclocks great-good price Comment:
Amazing processor. Overlcocks great as well. The only thing I would suggest is buying an after market cooler, especially if you plan on overclocking. The stock cooler and thermal paste is junk. |

Cons:Why the heck is this not classed an i7?!?
Pros:Best price for performance point. Comment:
This processor screams along with my new build. Light-years ahead of the performance from my old AMD build. Don't spend the extra hundred bucks to get the 2600; stick with the 2500. |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-We are talking about the same CPU right? Cons? HA!
Pros:-Powerful-Cool (with an aftermarket heatsink)-Super easy OC, especially with the right MB-Rocks games, and the day to day use-Will last for many years due to its easy OC ability Comment:
Have had this CPU for a month now, and it destroys whatever I throw at it, AT STOCK. I have yet to OC this beast (super easy with the Asus z68 pro, change one number!). Many say that you can easily get to 4.5GHz with a good heatsink (I have the CM 212+). Will easily last me several years.Best CPU for gaming by far. Spend the extra 100$ from the 2600K on a better GPU or SSD. |

Pros:Fast.. Did I say fast? Unlocked so you can Overclock. Comment:
Upgraded from a e6750 ocq3.4ghz..This cpu is beast and never goes over 20% on any core while just doing general stuff. Going from dual core to this for gaming is like comparing a Honda Civic with a Ferrari. If you want the best gaming cpu for the money. Look no further, this is it. |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Comment:
Particularly fast processor! Overclocks without breaking a sweat. I am at present sitting at four.5ghz @ 1.28v. I am using an H70 to cool and I haven't seen over 63c using prime or intel burn test. I was a little nervous about overclocking 24ǝ but soon after seeing how stable I am running full time. I have uneven core temperatures. Some say its bad sensors, some say I require to reseat the waterblock. Nothing is overheating so I am operating with it. Installing this processor into an MSI P67A-GD65 took some severe force. I seriously thought I broke something the first time I tried to close the retention lever. I read that is typical but I am going to warn you now, it takes ALOT of pressure. You will really feel like you broke somthing. Havent had any problems so far other than the coronary I had installing the processor into the socket. |

love this thing although it gets a little hot with stock cooling units n such with just a slight upgrade in that you can OC this baby to 4.5GHZ with no real problem. |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:None
Pros:Overclocks like a champ im at 4.5ghz at 1.295v Comment:
This CPU kicks butt in no time at all I had this up to 4.5 ghz and stable. |
Fast and robust, excellent price for the speed. With a Hyper 212+ I was able to dial it into four.7Ghz on air cooling., and operating about 65c at full load. Wonderful speed for the cost. It hasn't picked my winning lottery numbers but. 102mhz BLCK with a 46 multiplier at 1.35volts and smooth as glass at full load. I may possibly be able to push additional with some extra voltage, but this is very rapidly with a conservative voltage setting.
