Cons:None

Pros:Very fast, easy to get a good overclock
Comment:
This is a great processor, got it bundled with an MSI motherboard for $300 after rebate. With a CM Hyper 212 heatsink, hit 4.4GHz, would not bood at 4.5GHz. But still a very good overclock!

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-apparently stock cooler but I have not used it

Pros:-performance-overclocking capabilities-Sandy Bridge architecture
Comment:
The ease of installation and overclocking of this CPU was remarkable. With Noctua NH-D14 I've easily pushed it to 4.5 Ghz which runs idle at 28-29C. At the time of this writing, i5 2500K is THE processor to purchase if you are building a new system. i7 is also a good option with a slightly larger cache and HT, but the additional $100 for a very marginal improvement might not be for everyone.

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:- No HT (Hyperthreading)

Pros:- Low Price Considering What You Get- Insanely Overclockable. Hit 4.8GHz with relative ease (no Vcore adjustments) on an Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z motherboard.- Great Gaming Performance. Has no trouble powering two 6850s in CrossfireX at 1920x1200 in any game I have thrown at it.
Comment:
I would normally afford this processor the 4 stars out of 5 but due to the overclocking potential coupled with the relatively low price I cannot but recommend this processor to anyone looking for the best bang for the buck right now.Truly a remarkable product.

Cons:Can't get my CPU stable at 5 GHZ :(

Pros:-Cheap-Very fast and can overclock easy-Runs cool

I upgraded from a Q9550 and could notice a big jump in performance. I got tired waiting for slowdozer and I couldn't be any happier!Starcraft 2 plays so much smoother now and I never get that annoying message saying "Your computer is slowing the game down". Of course starcraft isn't the only game that plays better all my games play a lot smoother now.Overall very good CPU hopefully I won't have to upgrade for another 2 or 3 years.

Can you say 4.2ghz at the click of a button with OC Genie on MSI P67A-G43 motherboard.Running this at four.2ghz @ 1.35 volts at idle 35 degrees C and maxed out temp 65 degrees C running Prime for over hour straight on stock cooler. Also installed G.SKILL RIPJAWS X @ 2133mhz and OCZ VERTEX two 60gig SSD. Installed WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE 64 bit in less than 10 minutes. Was running AMD Phenom II x3 at three.4ghz and this Core i5 totally destroys it.Been an AMD user for 20 plus years now but not any far more Intel has the cost to efficiency ratio with this CPU and I'm estatic I own it!!! Stock cooler isn't horrible but isn't terrific either...Will replace with an H212 really soon.Removed the stock thermal paste and use Artic Silver dropped the temp a couple of degrees... This CPU is certainly amazing for this cost range. Many critiques have it quicker than the Intel 950 chip.At stock frequency it bests the Phenom II x6 1100T cpu on practically all benchmarks except really very heavy multi threaded programs.Overclocked at 4.2ghz its just reeks havoc on AMD's very best x6 chip.My only after thought is why didn't I go for the Core i7 2600K.Guess i'll wait to see what Intel IVY platform has up its sleeve!!!

I'm currently running it at 4.5GHz so it's a huge step form my old AMD Athlon x2! Very easy to OC and it's a better value than the i7-2600k.

Cons:None of course

Pros:Best CPU for its price to date, by far!Overclocks like a beast
Comment:
Still amazed how this thing is compared to the previous generation chips. They were double the price and performed comparably on release. Do not bother with the i7 unless you have money to blow because this chip is great and will handle anything you need.

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:might be priced out of some people's budget.

Pros:powerful CPU.
Comment:
Coming from an overclocked AMD Phenom II X3 720 running at 3.5 ghz, this processor was a huge step up.I was starting to notice that my CPU was the bottleneck in my gaming, and although it ran under low temps, the performance was not what it used to be. Having used AMD for quite some time, I decided that switching to the new 2500k series would be worth a shot since it was so highly praised. This chipset deserves every bit of the praise that it has garnered, and performs like an absolute champion. If you are not encoding video on a regular basis, save yourself the $80 and get the 2500k. Any bottlenecks from my system has been removed, but make sure you do yourself a favour and purchase a better heatsink than the stock on that it comes with.

Great CPU. overclock to 5.25, st up with water cooling run 35 degree. not problem. very happy for the purchase for the combo deal under $370. only problem is unhappy for the price policy on NCIX. price can be such low, it's not fair for the people buy it on higher price.

Very powerful gaming CPU. Probably the easiest overclocking I've ever done. Simply changed the multiplier from 33 to 40 and got a stable 4.0ghz (Yes I could go higher but don't need it right now). Very foolproof and I love it.

I got this as part of a package with P8P67 Pro, then matched it with a Coolermaster Hyper 212 (Push Pull) and Fractal Design Refine case with only 3 fans (2 x 120 front and 1 rear) 16 gigs of G.Skill ram, and a Patriot Wildfire 120 SSD as well as 3 WD 1TB black data drives. I am just amazed at the speed of this system. I have heard people have had temp problems with the 2500k but mine gets to 32 idle and 46 under load with only the above mentioned cooling. I only wished it had hyper treading as well.

I purchased this processor for a H67 motherboard and was not dissappointed. I had read different opinions on an unlocked processor and found the increase in video quality well worth the few dollars. I will recomend this processor for clients that have general use for a pc with media a priority ie. streaming.I would recomend this processor as an excellent price point for the performance you get.
