Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: none

Pros: Low price, fast, fast, fast, easily overclockable, best bang for the buck
Comment:
I decided to upgrade from a old amd 939 rig to this and I have no word to describe  how great this cpu is for the price. It's a joke to overclock this thing and cpu bottleneck is nonexistent. I run Black ops and BC2 with everything maxed and I always get above 60fps+ all the time, and that's with ONLY 2x9800gt in sli. Games are way more cpu hungry now and this thing simply gets the job done way too well for the price tag.

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: Gives off more heat than I thought it would

Pros: 6MB L3 cacheExcellent OC potentialBlows the last generation out of the water
Comment:
An amazing chip. Just received today and ran some benchmarks. This thing is equal to or better than anything you could get previous and puts the i7 to shame. Highly recommended. It's not worth it to spend the extra $100 for the 2600K right now. I paired this with the Mushkin Silverline 8GB and the results are amazing. Just need to switch to SSD and I'm set.I am a bit concerned with the heat. I have an after market air cooler and I'm getting 45C idle. I think next time I will give Corsair's water cooling a second look. I bought air cooling to save on money. So that's something you may want to consider buying. Most users can pair this CPU with a good mobo, RAM and video card and be set for the next 5 years. That's the last time I upgraded and I play a lot of games.Excellent purchase!

Comment:
I bought this processor day one and so far am very happy. It's the cheapest CPU I have purchased from intel in years and it is worth every penny. It is a very fast chip and gives the last generation i7's a run for their money. Gaming results have been most impressive especially comparing them to my old Dual Core I had before this.
