Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-unlocked versions is the new trend.-price match or wait for sale. grabbed one at $199.

Pros:-mid tier build must-easily OC'd with right hardware-will prove long lasting in relevance
Comment:
I ordered this cpu for a gaming rig i put together for a friend. i personally own an i5 760 and overclocking it is exceptionally easy even with limited hardware (my machine consists entirely of budget hardware but i run at 4.2ghz and ventured as high as 4.5ghz). So with that in mind, i knew that this would fair very well. I slapped a mugen scythe on this baby, supplemented with mx-3, and it runs beautifully fast and cool at 4.2ghz.

Good CPU for the money. Very cool, making use of a hyper 212+ cooler and at four.8 ghz OC have not topped 59 C even though gaming.... Love this CPU no cons with the CPU Make sure you analysis out your motherboard if you are gonna be overclocking... I got an Asus P8P67-M PRO and its been a nightmare compared to past builds, usually have not had problems with asus but the computer software (Bios and OS computer software) has been spotty at greatest.

more than-clocking monster. was able to hit stable five.2ghz. 24ǝ and gaming is 4.5ghz on low 1.27v (GB-UD5) and 102f Idle temps 130-136f賓% load benchmarks. following numerous years of making use of the other brand of CPUs and reading all the reviews on the LGA 1155 I decided to give it a attempt and for the finally low pricing of Intel and newegg on this chipset this was a no brainer upgrade. that will last a couple years before upgrading to the next ideal issue.absolutely nothing in this price range and performance can be bought. not a 6 core, no free t-shirt, took five business days to get the order on 3 day delivery a person dropped the ball on this order. This CPU is incredibly quick As it ships, but if you are obtaining an unlocked processor, then you care about more than-clocking prospective. Stable, My CPU cooler (Cooler MAster V6Gt) Keeps this below 40C with fan speed at 65%.Excellent performance relative to my old processor, AMD Athlon II X4 635. I got about a 30% boost in fps in most games.Great Price tag for performance. This cpu is one particular of the prime five fastest cpus on the market place, second fastest for gaming 񢒨k is fastest) It even beast the 980x in-game, but not in benchmarks that can use Six cores.Beats ALL AMD goods, like their Six-Core processors.I highly suggest this product if you have the finances to spend for it. IT is great for Gamers or enthusiast, like myself. This cpu is good for video rendering, and any thing else you can do on a private laptop or computer. Average Temp For Cpu: 30C no load, 45C full load OC'd I cant believe of any. 1st I'll start by saying I haven't purchased an Intel cpu since the Pentium III due to AMD often having an amazing price/performance ratio. Surely in appreciate with the price tag points for the new Sandy Bridge chips and the overclocking is just insane. Running it at 4.5ghz without any work and only hits 55c while gaming on the ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2. Stock fan is a joke but anybody getting this cpu will buy a thing worthy of putting on this beast. Why is this box here? Fairly much speechless. Never ever believed I would have an amazing Intel cpu for a sensible value.

Cons:- $$$ (still kinda expensive)

Pros:- Intel True Quad-Core- Unlocked multiplier makes it easily overclockable.- Sandy-Bridge architecture is the best.

The best performing CPU on the market (for the price). Anything higher than this, the difference will be hardly noticeable.

Pros:UnlockedLarge L3 cache.Easily overclockable and stable j 4.0+ GHz, even on air.
Comment:
One of the most top-rated CPU's, offers good gaming performance, as I get 100+ FPS w/ my radeon 6950 on high settings in battlefield 3.Overclocking made easy, for lazies like me. Can overclock it 4.0GHZ WITH STOCK COOLER WITH OC GENIE II by MSi. Although this is an overused cpu along with the 2600K, sorry, but I don't like having a common CPU. Imma go with the i7 3930k. This cpu is overrated. but offers good performance, at a pricey cost, but can be a good alter  if you can't afford an i7.!!

*Very quick with no even being OC'd to start off*Easily hits 4.5 with add on air cooler *Eats up anything I threw at it so farThis is the processor I threw in my 1st develop and I couldnt be happier with its price tag/performance. I have ran numerous applications to push it to its limits and it went up to four.9 and hit 76 degrees C with a Cooler Master hyper 212+ in a 922 Haf case and was stable for a couple of hours. I didnt see a purpose to run it that high when playing games so I preserve it at 4.four each day and it is way more rapidly then I truly need to have. If your searching for a wonderful chip to use for a wonderful gaming build I don't assume you can get anything much better than this right now ƔǞ񳏋) for the cost. It doesn't get me beers. Not sure what to consume for dinner tonight.

Worked great and OCd easily to 4.0 GHZ. I'm using Hyper 212 plus after stock cooling and getting decent temps. The performance is great. I initially thought the upgrade from my Q6600 wouldn't be worth the cost, but it blew my mind.

This chip is completely awesome. This factor can Quickly get to four.5 Ghz with excellent temperatures on a STOCK cooler. I have mine at 4.7 Ghz and it performs superb, great and cool. Playing the playstation two emulator with this chip is a breeze, I really like being in a position to play all my ps2 games in HD. Even if you are not into console emulation this point is still fantastic for the daily gamer, no its Ideal for the everyday gamer. Pair this chip with a 460 1GB or much better and you have your self a fairly strong rig for the subsequent three-4 years. It doesn't make my dinner. Best piece of technologies that I've ever purchased!

Amazing processor. Having been an AMD guy for the better part of my life, I was reluctant to go to the 'other side', but this is really the processor to beat. As said before, the price/performance ratio of this processor is second-to-none. Easy to overclock.

Cons:Ivy bridge is out for the same price

Pros:Best gaming bang for your buck
Comment:
Im buying this on the day Ivy Bridge is releasing, because I am still convinced this is the best bang for the gamers buck. The new Ivy bridge's run hot and don't overclock well, which this chip consistantly overclocks to and over 4Ghz, for about $40 less than its Ivy counterpart. If you just want raw performance for your dollar, this is still the right way to go in my opinion.
