Cons:none
Pros:easy to overclock! and 6mb of L3 !thermal protectiongot this in a deal with a mobo for a deal and a half Comment:
My liquid cooled setup the cpu in idle is 30c and with burn test it goes up to 45. Overclocked at the moment to 4.5ghz, a modest overclock with more room to go. Was just looking at my old p4 2.8c chip and its running 1.5v on the cpu ..considering this runs at 1.3 - 1.4 .. ohhh technology how i love thee |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:None really..
Pros:Great CPU, overclocks well. Perfect for gamers. Comment:
I am able to push my 2500k up to 4.5GHz stable 24/7 with a Corsair H70. Doesn't go over 65c which is really good. Idles at around 30-35c depending on case and room temperature. One of the best price to performance CPUs out there I would say. Forget hyper-threading and extra cores if you're only looking to game. |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-Despite being out for almost a year, the thing hasn't really taken any drops in price which is expected with technology. I suppose it's still the King for gamer CPUs
Pros:-Fast -Easy enough to overclock-Hits 4.5 ghz with most aftermarket air coolers Comment:
Wish the price was lower considering the age of the product. But it should last quite a while even with Ivy bridge coming out sometime next year. |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:- Lacks hyperthreading for multithread applications
Pros:- Fast- Runs cool- Massive over clocker- More than enough for gaming- Significant performance boost from my i5-760 k 4.0ghz Comment:
This processor is just about the best bang for buck for gaming performance. It over clocks beautifully to 4.9 ghz with no issue, and I still have enough room to hit 5ghz. Scores around ~9200 on 3dmark11 at my current overclock. Even with the overclocks, paired with my nh-d14 the temperatures were only hovering around 60 celcius. Now that it's water cooled, it runs even cooler. The 2500k definitely won't disappoint. |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Crappy CPU heatsink for such a high end processor. Price - could be cheaper.
Pros:Unlocked multiplier Comment:
Right out of the box, the 2500K overclocks to 4.0 - 4.5 GHz just by switching on the multiplier. Runs cool (maybe has something to do with my aftermarket heatsink). Runs at about 60% during Battlefield 3. |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Comment:
This processor has some wonderful worth for your dollar. Following installing windows, I looked at the processor rating in the Windows Experience Index - it is rated a 7.four out of 8. The difference is fairly incredible going from my old Core 2 Duo. The annoying stock CPU fan cooler is incredibly tiny, and has those annoying hold-down snaps. The wires for the fans run about the outside of the fan, and you have to be quite careful about not letting them touch the fan blades. Don't even bother with an i7. Save your cash, get this and use it to upgrade some thing else on your pc! |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Nothing
Pros:Cool, fantastic encoding speed. Easily overclock. Value Comment:
Using it with a P8P67Pro Asus motherboard with a CM hyper 212 heatsink in push/pull. Overclocked it to 4.5 and had no issues; very cool running idled around 40 according to CoreTemp. I run it 24/7 at 4.0ghz and runs like a champ. Any encoding or other tasks are very quick and don't envision needing an upgrade for a long time. Value for this chip is unbelievable. |

Cons:None
Pros:Excellent 'bang for the buck' CPU. Comment:
Great price on this CPU (most other online places charge A LOT more). I ordered the CPU on 12/13/11 and since i am wanting to save as much as possible went with basis UPS shipping. Totally surprised when today (12/15/11) the CPU arrived at my door. That was FAST shipping. So for the first time using NCIX I am amazed at how quick the product got here and the price of the product and will keep a eye out for any other good deals through this company. |

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:6GHz would be nice. ;)
Pros:5.2GHz for $195 on water!!!! INSANE! Fastest processor I've ever seen h this speed. Comment:
I'm currently writing this running at a modest 5.2GHz on the i2500k on water! Extremely stable processor. Love it. Matched it up with the new Z68 Pro Asus board and honestly have never seen stability like this in over 20 years of overclocking. If you're an overclocker, you'd be missing out on a huge moment in CPU history by skipping this chip. |
