Fantastic setup process out of the box, Awesome wireless variety. I have twice as substantially variety with this router than I did, with my older N linksys router. The web interface can be used by all levels of IT, from the novice user to the advanced. QoS tends to make gaming while the wife is surfing great. I don't get any lag when playing Black Ops. Like the stand it comes with, tends to make it easier to location on a desk. Share port is cool as nicely. My children like the blue lights on it. My one gripe with this device is the reboot immediately after a setting is saved. I feel that is the single most stupid function I've ever heard. I've had over 15 routers in my lifetime at property and this is the only had that reboots soon after a setting is saved within the web interface. I've produced DNS adjustments, port forwarding alterations and neither 1 of my past router devices had to reboot.

Setup is a breeze on this factor and it performs good. I've had netgears, linksys, other D-Links, and some lesser brands and let me tell you, this factor is the finest router I've ever had. I'm an avid gamer and it doesn't drop connections (even on wireless) at all. none I moved into a new apartment and couldn't cheaply or easily route cables from my cable modem to my computer system...opted for this and a Rosewil RNX-N180UBE USB-wireless adapter thinking i'd be dealing with lag-spikes and occasional drop-outs as that's how wireless gaming utilized to be....NOT THE CASE. This issue hasn't dropped out or brought on any troubles at all. I don't even get the IP address conflicts I utilised to get on my Linksys anymore. Excellent router, can't say sufficient

This router is quick and relyable and i havnt had any issues with it . Had some problems reaching the other end of the house ware the workplace is but there is various walls in involving and it is a major house so ill prolly move it in the basement and i feel that will repair everything

Go to your BitTorrent configuration and put in a limit, and you're good.So, it misses 5 stars because of the various trial and error that I had to go through to get it working. Once I got it all figured out, though, it's been stable and works as advertised.If cash is a serious concern for you, this is a good one to get. Does precisely what I expected it to. Compared to my old wireless g router this thing is like gold! Safety is excellent and the number of attributes is crazy! None so far. Excellent price tag and great speed. Works wonderful for streaming HD video via the Xbox 360, PS3 or just to a different pc. On the net gaming is no dilemma.

Great range and consistent speed for all devices. Began crashing my computer system immediately after a year (tested every little thing else and the blue screens stopped when the router was replaced). Really odd. Also, the blue lights on the front exactly where the brightest I've ever observed. I know routers die all the time (some of mine haven't even worked out of the box), but I was truly disappointed that this factor somehow managed to crash my personal computer about 200 instances. I would have provided it 4stars outside of this dilemma.

Very fast speeds. Have not had any concerns with resetting or weak/limited connection. Mainly use it to stream Netflix to my PS3 and have but to have any lag or connection troubles. NONE Blue LEDs are super bright and I wish I could dim them because I maintain the router in my bedroom

great value for what it gives. the setup disk was effortless to use and quite beginner friendly could be a small more quickly for the Wii and the PS3. has trouble maintaining up with streaming films on netflix and sometimes lags a bit during on the internet gaming CoD, Black Ops ect. that's y it lost an egg

Nice and elegent look. White clean. Enough strong to broacast  trough the wall of a normal house. Stable wifi speed. Sharing settings is simple and verry effective. I always buy D-Link and every product is nicely build. Not dual band...But for that range price it's totaly normal.A really good choice to have something strong, powerfull and fast, without paying over 100$.The quality/cost ratio is very good

Great router general! Vast improvement more than my old Linksys wrt160n. Gives much more than sufficient signal throughout the home. Really consistent with the quantity of devices I have connected to it. This thing was hell to get adequately setup. For some cause I was finding horrible speeds even following I tweaked particular characteristics such Qos. It's a nice router but not very fast and looses connection, needing reboot. I recommend best of breed refurb Linksys or Apple Airport extreme. Get 5GHz if you can to avoid interference.

It DOES have the capability to connect at 300mpbs. It WON'T actually connect at that speed unless I go into the control panel Each and every session and modify Some thing and save; otherwise it throttles at 130mbps. DLink help is a joke. Their forums are in Beta and rely on other customers for the tech help. Telephone assistance is relegated to men and women who speak poor English and are in a rush to get you off the telephone. When I described the issue to the telephone rep, he simply pointed me to upgrade the firmware (an update that was under 7 days old, mind you) and hurried me off the telephone, just about literally cutting me off to say his goodbyes. (And upgrading fixed nothing.)Simply this router does connect at 300mbps. But if my machine, or just the connection, is restarted, it will only connect at 130mpbs. Nothing will make it connect at 300 EXCEPT going into the manage panel to change Anything about the wireless connection... and it can be something, the channel, the broadcast mode, doesn't matter. After the alter is saved it reconnects at 300.GARBAGE ROUTER. Folks want to tell me it's my wireless adapter but it does this on all 3 of my machines. I'd give it No Eggs if I could.

Web pages would consistently time out and not load. I would have to reset the modem, router or pc to get it to access a web web page.
