Nice Harddrive
Comment:
This is a nice hard drive just sucks there isn't a power button and you have to unplug it if you don't need it. |

1Tb, excellent product, great price
Comment:
This unit worked directly out of the box, no drivers required. More than enough space to store all the contents of the present harddrive so everything is well backed up. Can't beat this price! |

No Power Switch...
Comment:
Worked like it should. No power switch is very inconvenient - to me anyway. I broke it down and used the drive in a SATA USB 2 enclosure with a power switch ($9.99). The drive is worth the price. Still use the Iomega enclosure with a 60GB Laptop SATA drive at work. |

Works Perfectly
Comment:
I plugged this in and recovered all the data from 3 computers. After all my online updates are completed it will go in my safety deposit box as a backup for all of my computers. I had no intallation issues and it worked perfectly in 5 minutes or less. |

Didn't work
Comment:
Got product quickly. Worked twice. Have been fooling around with Iomega support for 3 weeks. They now want to send me a replacement but I have to send them my drive first and pay shipping. And then they will send me a re-conditioned drive. Should be about 2 more weeks. I didn't buy a re-conditioned drive, I bought a new one. If I want it quicker, I have to pay $25 or $40. |

all that space...
Comment:
It wasnt that long ago that I couldn't even imagine a 1T drive!! I bought this to go with a pogoplug, which is an awesome easy and fun way to put yr hard drive on the www. This thing came out of the box and did what it was supposed to do and I marveled over the pogoplug and never gave the drive a second thought. That's a good review. More space than I know what to do with and nothing to complain about. |

Not Lucky
Comment:
I wasn't as lucky as the guys that got it out of the box and it was working. Mine was DOA, light came on, but nothing was working. Have to try it on 3 computers, before I was brave enough to contact Iomega, well for an award winning site, its not good help when the unit never gets recognize after following their instructions. After going thru all of that and then getting a tech support guy and convincing him the unit is bad, they want to change me for shipping and handling for the RMA unit, what a joke. |

1TB for $89.99 sheez buy it already!!!!
Comment:
This works just as a Ebook 1TB or Seagate or any of the major brands (I think this is better than Ebook), This drive is bit small compare to any other hard drive out there. This is a great price for budget-seekers and for performance handling in a external hard drive should have. BTW the actual space is 935 GB but thats standard because that 65 GB or more has to do with the actual NTFS formatting on the hard drive itself, its durable (I had this for about 3 weeks), go buy this now! before price goes up! |

Great External Drive
Comment:
If you're looking for an external hard drive, with a lot of storage space, and at a great price, look no further than here. This Iomega 1TB drive looks and runs great. |

Great purchase
Comment:
I have always liked iomega's drives. (Although I purchase others as well). This drive is a great buy and I use it (them, I bought two) for backup of our network. It has worked flawlessly. |

Did not work
Comment:
I connected product to three different computers and none of them would detect product. Tried all the suggested trouble shooting procedures to no avail. Returned product for full credit and purchased a SeaGate. It is working perfect. |

IOMEGA 1 TB HARDDRIVE
Comment:
I RECOMMEND THIS HARDRIVE TO ANYONE THAT IS JUST WANTING MORE PORTABLE STORAGE SPACE. IT DOES HAVE ALL THOSE FANCY BACK-UP FEATURES. THIS IOMEGA PRODUCT IS WELL WORTH THE VALUE! |

As simple as could be
Comment:
Just plug it in and copy the files. One recommendation: it will work using USB 1.1, but 2.0 is sooo much faster. I wanted this drive to back-up two systems that I am working on, one of which I expected to have some down-time. I completed the back-up just in time for my laptop as the power supply failed. |

Great bang for the buck
Comment:
This product is an excellent buy. Lots of space, quiet and quick. I would have liked it better if the drive was USB powered and or had a power switch. But, for the money, I real can't complain. Plug it in and it works. I recommend this to anyone who wants to backup important data. |

Great Price and Value
Comment:
You can't beat a 1TB for this price and it's not just any ol' hard drive that you would expect to break or have issues with right out the box. I have had it for several weeks and use it more than often, I recommend it to any hard drive enthusiast. |

Nice Drive for the price
Comment:
I have had it for a few weeks now with nor problems, the only compliant I have is that there is no easy way to turn off the drive when it is not in use and it does not detect if the computer is on or not to turn itself automatically on or off (like another drive I have does). So the only way to turn the drive off is to unplug it. |

Good Product for the money
Comment:
Take it out of the box, plug it in and use it. It's that simple. Works great. Only wish it was USB powered, but for the money a good deal. |

The unit performs as expected and is a good value
Comment:
The unit is used to consolidate my music collection. It is no frills but has performed as expected with no problems since its purchase |

Great Deal
Comment:
Works great but i have to have it sitting with back of enclosure out front to see the active light and always need to pull the power cord out when shutdown and plug in after booting up(computer will not boot up with this already plugged in.) Would solve all the problems if it had a power switch and the activity light in the front. No big deal still a very good product and buy. |

works great no issues
Comment:
This drive is worth the money |
plug it in and it works. cant ask for much more, but, if it had an on,off switch it would be a bit better.
